I’m so,so tempted by this kit..I love the F-16 and that love should go 1/32 Tamiya big….Right.?(I’m so needy for fellow modeler encouragement here🥺)… Great video with good pointers..Thank you and all the best from the U.K🇬🇧👍
Have this kit on my table as well! I am about 80% done and it’s a joy to build. I can’t wait until is completed and move down to my office for everyone to see. Tamiya kids are great and this is the best kit I have built to date.
Nice kit!! It's interesting that the F-16 kit's seem to be popping up on numerous channels! Side note: The 1976 F-16A General Dynamics kit was the very first kit I ever built I was 12! 42 years ago! I just found the kit on eBay! You know I bought it! Lol look forward to watching the rest of the build!
B.A.S. DRY DOCK Thanks for the info. I can’t blame other channels for wanting to film this model. It’s a beauty of a kit! I’m glad you picked one up... You are going to be happy.😀 Part 2 will be up tomorrow or the next day.
You will like it! Lots of options too.. I will get back to this build soon once I get more paints etc. I am sure you don't need my videos though to build. You are quite accomplished.
Brilliant would like to see the end result. We all learn something new from peoples vids. Just found a cool simple technique for panel lines, just take click lead pencil 0.2 or 0.3 for outlining then after use washes :)).
Primedmodelworks That’s what Part 2 will be about. I did some surgery to the model to make it more accurate. However, in doing so I’m committed to having the engine out now. Unless I buy replacement parts. Nothing is ruined I just made it more real looking.
Stunning mate , Love the F16, have you ever seen Iron eagle, from the 90s i use to watch that as a kid and always wanted to be a F16 pilot in the USAF lol look forward to seeing this when its complete.
josh sapsford You bet! I was one of those kids that liked the P-38 better for some reason? Now I have to watch those movies again! Hope I can find em? Thanks for the support my friend.
Looking great brother. My wanted list has the 1/48th scale Tamiya block 50 or the aggressor on it !!! Can't wait to see your progress. Hope you and the family are well ?
Mottys Military Models - Steve Mottram I should really expand my 1/48 collection as well. Won’t be long until Part 3 is out. Thanks for the well wishes. Hope your summer is going well and you and your family is well also?
Hello, very nice so far having her opened up should look really sharp. Are you going to add some after market or ob ? , look forward to seeing how she turns out. Have fun.
Rory Thornton I don’t have any aftermarket for her. It is that nice of a kit, I’m not sure if any is really needed? Then again I’m not that familiar with the 16... Are there areas that need it?
Mike Montgomery Way ahead of you my friend. In fact I’ve already started a build series on this channel on that very model. You are so right! It to is a beautiful model!

Excellent! Thanks for the tip.. I will give it a try. I love learning new ways of doing things.
I have the F-14 and is a perfect scale model. All fits perfectly. I know, is more expensive, but Tamiya worth every dollar
One of the better kits I’ve built...engine fits in and out perfectly

If you liked this one, try the Tamiya 1/32 F-15C. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Could you use Cellulose thinners to get rid of the intake seems ?
Paul Morgan Perhaps? They are pretty hidden so I’m not to worried. On this kit I’m going to leave them as is. Good tip though.
