When my mom passed away, I was in charge of her estate, the house was to be sold but my niece said she and her boyfriend would like to buy it. Not only did it save on marketing costs, viewing arrangements, etc it stayed in the family and mom would have loved that. I also like that their child is now growing up in my old bedroom and playing in the garden I once played in.
