Why Tank Is So Unpopular And How To (Maybe) Fix It

The Tank Role is notoriously unpopular in Overwatch, and is a major reason that queue times have always been a difficult problem to tackle since the inception of Role Queue. Balance is often the first thing to be blamed for why most players choose not to play tank, and while better balance would certainly help, I think there are more considerations to be made if we want the Tank Role to be as popular as the other roles in the game.
