Another great watch Matty, nice looking lake, always hard to start when starting on a new venue as it's been said already.. Chin up, sure you'll suss it out and be banging those carp out.. We're bouncing off the walls waiting for the green light to be able to get back on the bank, tight lines and wet nets from all of us at the Carp Crew Screamers.. 👍🎣
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it! Still yet to catch up on yours! Defiantly hard when first heading to a venue spend ages leading around ruining the swim! But I'd rather ha d a decent lead around knowing the spot is pukka then sit there thinking about the spot the whole 48hr lol! Everyone's bouncing off the walls waiting to get the rod out!! I've been having a practice in the feild near me on casting!! Hit 37 wraps the other day just a bare lead 😂 tight lines and stay safe!! 😊
Hi Matty at least you know everything is working with all those bream, God only knows when we are allowed to go fishing again I had two 72hour sessions pencilled in for April but because I'm high risk as well as the wife I'm on a 12 week lockdown. Only on week 3 and its crap but atleast I will be safe. Until next time take care and stay safe yourself.
Thanks mate!! Yeah that's it Ive all ways said that even if you have bream the spots and rigs are working!! And usually the bream come in then they go then the carp head in lol! Ahh no gutted for you I think alot of people have had places booked and been cancelled I tend not to book thing as people all ways let you down etc!! I reckon another couple of weeks till this is over 😭😭
@@carpymadness8002 bloody hell now that is a massive fish lol I would not mind getting up in the morning for at lol but the smaller bream can be a right pain stay safe 💪💪😂😂😂
Thanks mate!! Honest as always I'm not one of these anglers who just put vids of catching it's not reality and there probably will be a few blanks untill I learn all the waters!! Lucky enough for me I had a few blogs saved up in the bank so I could keep uploading! Thanks for watching pal, hope you and your family stay safe 😊😊
I love fishing Hightown been their many times only had few but all stunning and worth all the time and effort. Theirs one swim down the public footpath which is really over grown has a really steep path to get into it and hardly fished you but if get it tight to the island you will catch most of time.
Nice mate glad to know a few people who are watching have fished the venue!! It looks a decent lake loads of over hanging trees on the island and a good depth of water!! Did u have anything of size from what you caught? I know they app keep stocking it every year with stockies!! From what the bailiff told me!! Yeah I was on the footpath but by the pipes swim on Monday when boris announced everything to be shut was gutted as I was tight to the island with a decent spread of bait over it!! Lol then had to pack up and go home Tuesday morning 😭😂 thanks for watching mate tight lines 💪🏼🔥
@@carpymadness8002 yes very nice lake one of my favourite I done 12 session had about 8 fish my biggest was 26.4 mirror caught from the same spot where you cast to in the video but that after blanking couple of times when first started fishing their . I found that I caught plenty of bream and to a fair old size as well lol but as soon as starting using 18 and 20mm boilies I starting to catch a lot less bream. And the pipe swim is a good spot if can get in their but the swim next to it is another good spot and few features under water worth the time to marker rod out a find them😊 I'm gutted there no fishing at moment had a few session set up and already paid so annoyed I can't go now
Having fished Hightown a fair bit from 2000 to 2009, the best advice I can give you is to avoid pellets, crushed baits, fluoro pop ups, crumb etc. Stick to big hard fishmeals, 20mm plus, and ignore the theory that they won't get taken in winter. They will. In fact Hightown was a very good winter/early spring water. The other end to where you fished (Little Spit?) up the North Bay can be very productive at times too.
That was a interesting vid fella. Well done, was planning on getting my ticket for Ringwood this year funny enough. Your vlog was perfect timing for me, interested in one lake they call half pit. Good luck with your campaign when it hopefully gets going again.
Thanks mate cheers for watching!! Yeah it's defiantly worth it with the amount of waters you get for the price!! Yeah I had a walk round half pit the other week looked very nice app it's gets very weedy!! And to get a couple of bites from it per season is good lol! But there was only one angler on when I walked round and that was on a Saturday 🤔 I suspect most people don't fish it cause they know its a blanking water lol tight lines mate and stay safe 😊
Hello mate, yeah course I'd love a few tips for Ringwood!! Don't expect to have it all on a plate but a few diffrent opinions from diffrent people certainly does help out!! If your the Ben I'm thinking about I'm pretty sure there we catch reports of your on linbrook recently? If I'm right ill get on Facebook and add ya up 😊
