I've found foam grips to lack in grip when riding in the wet, but very nice and comfy. ESI and other brands make similar ones with lots of choices of width
Thanks guys! I will keep that in mind, they felt comfortable when I raced but I did think they may be slippy in the wet… will see how they go as no doubt I will experience some wet conditions soon 😅
Delboy is bang on - bigger, lighter tyres are the way to go, those 2.4 Aspens might be a bit ropy for the next few months but come summer they are ideal. Bike looks great - had an anthem decades ago in the 26" days and it was superb.
Here we are the new bike rewiew👍🏿. Great weapon for your racing's year Giorgio 😊! Don't worry your bike rewiew, it's juste want we wanted: no too technical and funny as well. Tks and congratulation for the baby! You and Rocket will be a formidable parents. And as a father you will enjoy more your ridding time with your bike😉
supernice rig G - awesome paint, nice carbon wheels, fast 2.4s all the way! remote lockout is well useful, chain catcher ftw - done well on the first race outing...keep it up mate!
The bike is fab 👍.....over time, sure you'll find more speed as you and the bike find each others limits. You'll then become more relaxed and confident.
@@notpablo8369 I haven’t tried it myself but I think I saw a female rider at cape epic have one on her liv which has the same bolts so I’m guessing so 🤔
Love the bike! I have the same setup for fork/shock lockout. I didn't like the position & motion of the original dropper post lever as it interfered with the lockout. I bought the Wolftooth ReMote BarCentric and it was so much better. I wondering about the Wolftooth ReMote 360. Anyway, great bike and love the videos!
Hi George I like your videos they are fun to watch. It’s a really nice bike but I have 1 advice shorten your cables (brakes, remote lock en dropper post) they are always to long when you get a new bike. Regards Paul
Thanks Paul! Definitely something I will look into at some point… I’m just making sure all the levers are in the right place first and easy to get to, as having the remote lockout and dropped post has made it difficult to get them both positions perfectly 😅
Great bike, I rode the previous version of the Anthem. Wanted to find out you happy with only being able to carry one bottle? If not let me know. I have one designed to carry two specific to the Giant.
Great Review, thanks. You have stated 10.2gk with pedals thus wondering what shall be the weight of the Anthem 0 that comes with the live valve kit, DT-1200 wheel set, Maxxis Rekon race and sram xx1 kit. I know that live valves add circa 250gr but shouldn't it be compensated with the DT1200 vs Giant wheels set?
In all honesty I’m not sure and would just be guessing if I tried to answer… it could be worth messaging a local giant dealer as they will likely be able to weigh it for you 🤔
What is the weight of the Bike? I have some discussion with a friend. I have the The Anthem of 2021 and did some upgrades and is 10.5kg with pedals but no dropper, older heavier frame. Like your videos!
@@GiorgioCoppolaCycling I've just ordered this bike as there is now a big discount in Belgium of -2400€. . About the weight : was this the original weight or after all your upgrades? I think about to replace the dropper as where I live I don't need it, when I go to the Ardennen than I will need it! this is quick 500gr difference. On my bike from 2021 I have the Rockshox Ultimate SL which is so good , smooth and light. Do you like this Fox? Any other upgrades you advice?
Oh has Fox re-found shred of sanity and gone away from the idiot "push to unlock", which defaults to your bike being fully locked out? Good on them. Better late than never.

I agree and if you don't wear gloves they're scary when wet.

Don't need to worry about grip when he's got them lovely orange gloves!
Great machine, will put you in the top five in any race.
As long as my legs show up as well 🤞

Delboy knows his stuff 😂 the tyres felt good when I raced so I’m definitely going to stick with them 👌
Yo brother that is a sweet ride. Yea, one click full lock out is such a huge game changer. Love it!

🙌 absolutely love the paint job!
If the first outings anything to go by it should be a good year 👌
Make sure you get even pressure across your hands when arms are fully extended . You can increase the sweep to get that if need be. Great vid !

100% I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do on it this season 👌
Beautiful bike bro! That’s my dream..

5.02 u casually checking ur watch/phone 😂 was it one of my messages 🤪 sweet ride mate ❤
It was probably the wife saying she’s on her way home and me thinking sh*t I better wrap this up 😂
Great looking bike hope you get some good results on it shame to get it dirty 😊
Nice bike. I really like the colour.
Bike in the house has the rocket gone out?
😂 I quickly snuck it in without her noticing 👀😂
I reckon you could get a half decent pram if you part ex that bad boy 😂
👀😂

I tend to only run 1 bottle when racing XC so it shouldn’t be a problem… I like to keep the weight down with 1 bottle 😂

I bet my Giant Talon 2 2022 is better than that.😂. Kidding aside that is a beauty. ❤️❤️❤️
