This woman has a very difficult time telling the truth. She also puts herself in a dangerous situations. She has some very self-destructive behaviors.
People here are saying “Oh, the daughters are forcing their mother to EARN their love by acting a certain way!” It’s called “setting boundaries” guys. If you feel unsafe with someone in your life, you need to set certain boundaries. It doesn’t mean you don’t love them, it means you respect yourself.
I party every now and again not everyday I can’t imagine what damage she’s doing to her body with this drinking

I'm on the mother's side here yes I understand the worry about her dating different men but at the same time she's a fully grown women I think the daughters are jumping way too far into her buisness the are adults . She's not cast them out of her life she's just living hers she's obviously still happy to be involved in their lives but it works both ways

It's not like they're distancing themselves from her because she's having too much fun for her age or something; they're setting boundaries because she has consistently shown that she wont take responsibility for her mistakes nor will she even admit that she has an alcohol problem to begin with. Have you had an alcoholic parent? Do you know how horrible being around them can be? I wouldn't visit a person in active alcoholism either, even if it was my mother. They're looking out for themselves in a situation where their mother is seemingly spinning out of control and is refusing to see it, which makes her a threat to their mental sanity.
I'm on moms side. Those kids don't bother to even come to visit her but can sit back pointing fingers. They need to get lives and leave her alone.
