What a great addition to the BRS team 👌 I do something a little unconventional but it seems to work! I put a bag of Rowaphos and a bag of Activated Carbon in my Reactor and change them out every 4 weeks. After watching this I might look at using GFO in the reactor (changing out 4 weekly) and a bag of activated carbon in a high flow area and change it out weekly as my wife a,ways complains about the smells 🤔

I've used Rowaphos and it does a great job reducing the phosphates, but I found that it reduces it to where I want and then I take it out. How do I measure it out to leave it in the system so phosphate levels remain stable instead of dropping them and removing the mixture? I'm worried about it keep dropping lower than where I want it to go.

Does the carbon also strip any supplements i add like trace elements/amino acids/vitamins?

U can leave old carbon in the reactor And it works great as biological filtration which you can never have enough of really
