Both of my dogs were rescues. My little Bella, a Rat Terrier-Jack Russell mix passed away in September. When I'm ready, I will honor her life by saving another. I'll take the oldest dog that nobody else wants, and fill the remainder of his (or her) life with comfort and love. That is how I will honor Bella. 😥💖
We just about adopted a dog that was wandering around our neighbourhood. 😒 We live half a block from a really busy main street, and I did NOT want her to get run over, so I called her over and tried to keep her entertained while my mom looked for a leash (she had no collar, nothing). I opened the house door to talk to my mom, and she just pushed past me and went to explore my house. Made herself completely at home.
We wanted to try to get her into the car, so we could drive around the neighbourhood to find her owners. As soon as I opened the back door, she was IN, and seemingly really hyped to go for a drive.
Really well-behaved goldendoodle. Super sweet girl, barely complained, at all. We drove around for 3 hours, checking for her chip (out of service, hadn't been changed since the previous owner 😔) and then driving around the neighbourhood, calling local vets, to see if she had been reported missing by anyone.
We got back home at like 9:30 PM, and apparently, her owner finally realised she was missing. Some people pointed her to our house, because literally everyone heard us asking around if anyone knew someone who owned a big, sweet goldendoodle.
She told us that she was a really bad fit for her family, the kids didn't want to play with her (she's a really chill dog), and she had wandered out of their yard multiple times per week, since she had come home. I just... 🤦🏻♀️ If she's a bad fit, take her back. Every shelter would rather you return the dog, if it's not a good fit. And to know that she's gotten out of the yard, many, many times, yet they never updated the chip contact info... Urgh.
I totally would have adopted her. She was super gentle and sweet, barely ever barked, only whined once, when she was excited to see another dog. She would have been perfect, for our family. 😬
She seemed happy to see her mom, but her mom was more just frustrated that she got out (again). But hasn't done anything to prevent it happening, again.
My childhood dog got out twice; first time, we erected a bigger fence, so she hopefully couldn't climb it, anymore. Second time, once we understood she COULD climb it, we put her on a line, so she could still run, but she couldn't get close enough to the fence. She never got out, again. We were terrified that she'd get run over, so we did what we had to in order to prevent it happening, again. 😟
It just makes me sad. It seems like they only got her because she looks expensive. STATUS. Didn't bother to update her chip info, didn't fix their fence, didn't keep her collar on, so whoever found her could find her owners. They don't seem to care. It's sad. She's such a sweet dog. She just wants attention. 🙁
Absolutely love older dogs. I'm not a huge fan of puppies, even. Adult dogs are the best. And rescues can be fantastic dogs. 👍🏻👍🏻

These don't look as intense or textured as some other brands multichromes like Terra moons or Shine by SD. Yet they are priced the same.Also none of these look really unique, so I can't wrap my head around that pricing. Lethal's formula is pretty lackluster as is.
So for me it's a hard pass.

I don't know what the dog shelter situation is where you are, but keep in mind a lot of puppies get (tragically) abandoned after Christmas by their new families. You could find your dream puppy in January!
Don't worry, when the right pup comes along you'll know it. I like big dogs too but I had a 25 lb dog for years and his personality was way bigger than his size!

These look soooo pretty but I already bought a bunch of shadows! I think I’m gonna wait for another sale next year and see. I LOVE my lethal shadows! The matters are so soft so I’m sure I’ll love these when I eventually get them
yay so happy for more multichromes on the european market :D im not the biggest fan of lethals shimmers tho but im happy for more options! i do have these shades already as well.

I really can’t wait until the rest of the US catches up with the Continental Divide area when it comes to letting people have big dogs in apartments/rentals/hotels. I hope you find the puppy of your dreams!

It's completely fine to have a big dog in an apartment... IF you're willing to walk them multiple times per day, take them to dog parks, and let them run run run.
I really can’t wait til folks in general start taking better care of pets/animals. Don’t get pets if you can’t commit, please. It’s so unfair to the poor animals.
@@KagomeYasha023 Don’t presume that people aren’t going to take care of animals based on zero information. The more places people can live with large dogs the more likely they are to find a good home, and the less likely it is someone will have to give up a large dog if their living situation has to change. The continental divide area is like that because there are tons of people with dogs, and the dog training, grooming and care industry is huge. In general the dogs that live there probably have a higher quality of life than most pets in other areas, including having a huge advantage on socialization and exercise.
I don’t often laugh out loud at RUclips videos but it got me when you said “I still want a puppy.” 😂
So glad I ordered these tbh since you said theyre more powdery I feel like it will layer better especially on hooded eyes :-) I cant wait to use them as a one color (multi shift) look to the office as an easy 6 a.m. makeup look!
That’s a good idea! Maybe the wear time will be better. I did wear the one I threw on my lid for a good six hours with no creasing but I have to play with them more to say for sure.
@@AmyLovesMakeup Thank you for replying! And very glad the wear time is consistent with their other shimmers. I only have one custom 12 (I think) pan pallete from them so far but I was incredibly impressed with the formula. So, I decided to purchase my "first" real multichromes from them! Sry for the essay, just love makeup :-)
These look amazing, my favorites are Parallax and Genesis, they look like they can go with many colors and have nice reflects to them.
German shepards are soooo much work! I grew up with one and I’ve heard other people say they’re a lot. They’re probably my fave breed though 🥺

I picked up three of their multichromes and im really excited to try them out. I liked Lethal’s newer shimmer formula so im hoping I like these as well! When I saw them tease the shade genesis I knew I had to have it

So happy Lethal has multichromes now!! Their palette builder is one of my favorites. These colors don't look that unique to my collection, so I probably won't purchase any right now. But I can definitely see myself putting a few of these in future BYO palettes of theirs. Also that ending "I still want a puppy", I can relate to that!

So sorry to hear about your lease. I grew with large breeds (wolfhound, old english sheepdog) but I fell in love with my cavalier king charles spaniel - he was big dog in a little body!
My best friend has a German shepherd cross, she's the sweetest, smartest, friendliest, best behaved dog I've ever met! I hope you find the right puppy for you ❤️
No German Shepherd - that's so sad 😥 that would be my number one breed of choice too, but I only just convinced my husband for a kitten lol I'll have to bide my time for the dog 😉

Shoot on not being able to get a GSD! They are the best dogs, so loyal. We have two girls 😍 and it’s so hard to get people to want to lease with them. It really limited our home options too. We’re renting until we build. Enjoyed all the swatches 🥰

You may look at getting a mix. I'm a big dog fan, but I just recently got a new puppy that is half Australian shepherd and half Pomeranian. He's super adorable, but because of the Pomeranian half he's smaller than an Aussie. He's ended up being the perfect middle ground.

Oh man! I’m so sorry about the puppy! I know under 25 pounds is not anywhere near a German Shepherd- but, I hope you will consider adopting a puppy or an adult small dog! I
German Shepherds are great dogs. We had to put one of ours down on Monday and we're broken hearted. So sorry your lease does not allow them.
It's nice to see more multichromes and these look nice, but I don't think I need these. I'm happy I waited for reviews instead of impulse buying at launch. I already have similar shades from Clionadh and Terra Moons already and they're a lot shinier and sparklier than Lethal's for a similar price.

I'm so sad that you weren't able to get a German Shepherd. They are worth moving to somewhere else in my opinion, yet I'm completely bias! I was involved with our Police Dog Squad and trained a pup to be ready for full on training with Police. Long story short, I became her Handler and then owner. I also had another as a Companion Dog. Both changed and even saved my life! They're both passed now and I long for another. Maybe one day it will be possible for you as it's best not to settle but get what your heart desires. Despite Lethal's Multichromes being absolutely stunning, not even they can make up for GSD. So far, I have all in this palette except for Ceres. As I'm in Australia, I purchase through the one stockist we have here which can limit what's available. They've been very good so far in keeping things in stock and re-supplying yet I'm still afraid of missing out. They've just had an EOFY sale and reduced many mattes which I snatched up but still have to collect many shimmers plus the newest release of multichromes and glow blushes when they arrive. It's far too expensive to order from Lethal directly as they expect us to spend close to A$300.00 just to get free shipping! All of my lethal shadows( 12) hard panned on me after a few uses. I mean HARD little bricks. The swatches do look better on you than thier promo shots but they still don't look intense enough for that price point. I feel like some shadows are walking that fine line of multichrome, chrome alone should bling and blind like crazy. I'd love to know how they hold up after a few uses. Dare I say these look like looxis first round of multichromes?
Those prices are not on par. Maybe for a high quality new release, but these are not that. Lethal is new to multicromes and I think these are overpriced. JD glow $7.50. Clionadh $11. Devinah $8. Terra Moons $8-17, but most are the lower end. And all of these companies make stunning multichromes.
Most Clionadh multichrome shades are $15-25, especially the darker based ones and Devinah’s can be $17. The Devinah shade similar to dark matter is 17.
@@QueerBones clionadh prices are in canadian dollars and they have different prices depending on the pigments used. none of clionadh's shades are more than 20 usd. their "iridescent series 1" and "glitter series" is only 8 usd per piece, lethal charges the same price for any og their iridiescent ones as they do for their black based ones. having everything priced the same doesn't sit well with me! lethal justified their pricing with using "high-quality" and "ethical" pigments but that doesn't mean other companies don't do that, too
I think we are absolutely allowed to question why companies price their products the way they do. But also, I think companies are allowed to charge whatever they want for their products. It’s up to the consumers (us) to buy or to not buy. Multichromes are expensive to make. Materials are expensive to source, processing is expensive, and the whole thing is more expensive with the effects of the pandemic on supply chains. I’m not saying you’re wrong… but the brands you list can’t be compared 1-to-1 because of all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on.
@@recordtapesbackward and Terra Moons and Devinah charge 13-17 for iridescent multichromes (not duochromes).
If you don’t like that they charge a set price vs a per shade price that’s fine, don’t buy it.

Ive noticed everyones doing it all wrong with this palette, please hear me out... the black is meant to be a base and make the other ones darker and for the chromes to stand out brighter and bolder on top of it more than if just on top of skin or primer. its the new thing right now. we used to do it in the 90's... another reviewer came close kinda but didnt layer completely over the black she just blended the brighter ones next to the dark over lapping a bit but you could really see what it was supposed to do where the light was over the dark, but i hope this helps. if it works please feel free to pin this comment.

I’ve never tried Lethal before I’ve been really wanting to try them but people seem to have mixed reviews about their shadows🤔

Oh god, I hear you about the puppy fever. I’m on waiting list and it is hard. If you like the herding/working personality of the GSD I recommend considering the Shetland Sheepdog. They stay around the size range you need and they are herding dogs with a very trainable/biddable personality and they can keep up on family activities and whatever you want to do but they are not as INTENSE as some of your other herding breeds like your Border Collie, Australian Shepherd (or mini Aussie aka Mini American Shepherd), Australian Cattle Dog etc…they can actually settle down and don’t have to go all day, work all day. They are great family pets. Another one that might suit but doesn’t have the herding dog aesthetic is the miniature (not the toy) poodle…they are smart, biddable, again good medium energy and make great family pets. Good luck! May we both be blessed with puppies!

What would you recommend for the least expensive however highest quality duo Chrome or multi Chrome. I'm very picky so I really want a good purple, blue, green maybe Orange. I don't like golds, I love white. So I only need a couple I love every color of the rainbow I just do not like neutrals. The sparkle white is right up my alley. Do you have a ranking video?
You could always check out Devinah; but to be honest, any multichrome is going to be on the higher end. As is duochromes. But Devinah is beautiful, and not too expensive. You could also try It’s Bel, or Sugar Drizzle, though they tend to sell out really quickly. ^_^
I really dislike lethals shimmers and multichromes, they are so lacklustre. They were my first multichromes due to availability but I absolutely regret them.
I... Don't really get these. I was watching Angie's swatches. The way she does her swatch videos, with the multiple lighting sources, and moving her arm around, the shifts are usually VERY apparent. Hers are my favourite, for being able to see what they look like IRL.
But they just didn't look shifty. Just barely evident duochrome-looking shades, with some showing basically no chrome effect. I don't know. They're not that impressive, to me.
Clionadh's are around the same price as these (maybe not with customs, IDK), but wayyyyyy more shifty.
Lethal makes my favourite matte singles, currently. I'm just not into these.
Pretty underwhelming especially for the price. I wonder if you'd love them if you spent $150 and didn't get it sent in PR? I 🤔 When you put it on your eyes was especially sad and I wonder if that's why you didn't do a video where you actually use them lol
