sorry for not adding the last episode, but THERE WASN'T ANY HAYLIJAH SCENE OR EVEN A MENTION THAT I COULD USE.
what a B*****t ending, I's almost unbelievable how the series ended, my favorite of all time show, ended on a miserable way and I couldn't be more dissapointed and bittersweet for it.
like how in hell, I'm gonna buy you the idea of two of the most strong and terrible vampires on earth commited suicide for the hollow? an old enemy back on season 4 that if the writers wanted to care, they could kill her easily and make a greater enemy for the last season.
after that I cried my eyes out (i was such a mess, the whole episode, just remembering how GOOD the originals was back on season 1) I started to think on A BILLION of different endings to this amazing series, that i even thought It was gonna be better than the vampire diaries itself, BUT HM I WAS WRONG (or until season 3 was good)
i'm bittersweet because I'm not gonna know if klaus and elijah got their happy ending, I'M NOT GONNA BE ABLE TO SEE MY LAST HAYLIJAH DANCE!, IT BOTHERS ME THAT ON THE LAST EPISODE NOT EVEN A MENTION OF ELIJAH'S LOVE OR THE LAST DANCE, I'M SO MAD THAT THE DANCE WASN'T EVEN WRITTEN. (i'm so pissed that I'm so close to smoke come through my ears) I'M NOT GONNA WATCH THE FACE OF HAYLEY WHEN SHE SEES ELIJAH ON THE BAYOU, WAITING FOR HIM! goddamn it i'm so dissapointed.
and, I kinda gave 5 years of my live to this series, i started to watch it when I was on 8th grade (since 1x14 aired) and I realize how time flyes because now I'm going into college on a week.
I remember on season 1, back on 2014 when I met this series because of a Haylijah gif on tumblr, ever since I feel deeply inlove with them and It annoys me andmakes me cry and makes me sad is that I didn't get the chance to see them together on the afterlife, I needed more scenes, I needed more love declarations, more hugs, more almost kisses, more dances, more everything, I have so many things that I wanted to watch on my favorite couple of all time.
I have so many things so thank to the originals, thanks to this series I discover the vidding community and I learned on how to vid (kinda) I learned english (lmao) I Met incredible people for this series and also I met one of my best friends, every single achievement that I've had on this channel and also on my editing style/life Ithank to this series, and It makes me nostalgic that it came to an end, (a really bad ending.)
I'm gonna miss so many things of this show, and I'm gonna miss Haylijah, those two on my mind and on my after-ending they are having their last dance and living together.
I think i'm not gonna love a couple like I did with Haylijah, those two we can say that they were the love of my show's life.

I will never forgive the writers of this show for the pile of garbage that was the final season of this show. Hayley and Elijah deserved so much better than what they got! Beautiful video.

I *hate* how they continuously baited us with the Haylijah dance! Like they brought it up so much & made us think we were gonna see their final dance, but then left us hanging in the end, like wtf?! In TVD finale we saw everyone at peace but with Klaus&Elijah we just get an infinity war knockoff scene & that's the END?!! &Klaus was only killed so that the writers wouldn't have to explain why he's not around in Legacies! Damon got to live happily ever after in tvd finale, but not Klaus?! Also Caroline didn't deserve to come to TO just to lose another man she cares for, like just let her be happy for once! I am *FOREVER* bitter that Haylijah was done so wrong, Hope is an orphan, klaroline flopped & that we will never see Elijah/Klaus at peace! This show was so great back in the day but seasons 4 & 5 were filled with plotholes & this finale was just one big middle finger to us fans imo.
Lol sorry for so much ranting- I'm just so angry/heartbroken over this ending 😥💔 But this edit is really beautiful & Haylijah deserved so much better 💖💞✨

I'm going to miss your haylijah videos so much. it's truly the end of an era, I've been watching the originals since the pilot and while I stopped loving the show somewhere along the way, I never stopped loving haylijah. and your work will always be one of my favourite parts of this entire experience, because you've been here since season 1 and I watched every single one of your haylijah videos when they came out. I've watched you deliver masterpiece after masterpiece, you inspired me to vid them myself and you understand them so much better than most people in this fandom.
thank you so much for all of it. and just know, we might not have seen it on screen, but elijah is with hayley right now, having one of many more dances and finally feeling what it's like to be at peace.

OMG I'm so fascinated by the feelings that the radio sound can give like what you did at 2:37 . Oftentimes radio is a one-way talk. You don't know if there's someone listening on the other end, but you keep singing on because this hatred, this love, this pain is real. The singing will end someday, perhaps with your life. You just hope that that person will receive this and think of the days that you were together.
The very last song of the Originals ended in in radio-like sounds too. With the static sounds taking over, the image of the person Elijah and Klaus love most becomes a blur in front of their eyes and every bit of their memories fades into ashes like distant dreams. Literal tale as old as time, yet still nothing more than transient sounds on the radio.

I’m eternally upset about the way the writers just kinda cast Haylijah to the curb, and especially how they excluded Phoebe (one of the main characters since EPISODE ONE) from the farewell interviews released at the end of the season. But this is a beautiful edit and you honored Hayley and Elijah in the way the writers should have💗

I really tried so hard not to cry but I failed. They are probably my most favorite pairing in the TVD/TO universe and it hurts that they didn’t get a happy ending. I just know that right now they’re probably dancing and happy together even if we weren’t able to see it.

WOWW ANOTHER FUCKING MASTERPIECE !!!! The final broke my heart in every way, i hope that Elijah and Hayley are dancing in the other side and that Klaus find peace with Cami. I follow the Mikaelson since TVD, so almost ten years and i cannot believe this is the end even if i always imagined Klaus and Elijah would die. But i'm happy for Freya and Keelin, they gonna have their kid with Vincent and Kol as Davina, and Marcel & Rebekah are finally together. So there is some good in all the sadness !
I prefer season 4 and the ending of this season, but season 5 was the season of Klaus and Elijah for me.

I hated the end too
I met The Originals in this year, by a Haylijah vid (yeah, believe this?) And I watched, and Loved so much. But then, In find out that the last season was coming out, and I was so excited!
I hear Hayley's death before even start to watch the show, but it hurted me so much as I started to love her, Elijah, Klaus, Freya, Rebeka........
Then in the morning of the last episode day, I just woke up to see spoilers, hoping at least in a Hailijah dance.
Then, it didn't hapenned.
I'm SO desapointed with this.

Just beautiful! It was nice to see their last dance here. I understand the choices the writers made in not showing us their afterlife, as if there is some doubt that they are immediately at peace, for as loyal as they were to family, it still doesn't excuse all the killing of people. Also, we did kind of see their dance already. But still...it all didn't give the fans closure. I would also have liked to see Klaus with Cami after death as well. I wish they had given us something, so this is nice!

I stopped watching after her funeral and I’m glad I did as I couldn’t have handled the finale. It just seems to me that Julie Plec is such a predictable and lazy writer so she kills her characters. Endings are supposed to satisfy fans not bring up more questions and spark outrage, haha.
In TVD, Julie brought back the likes of Elena’s parents and Lexi... um? They are literally irrelevant compared to Hayley. Hayley is the reason The Originals exists and she’s the reason they are able to make this other spin off show. Idk. Seems to me as Julie Plec didn’t give a fuck about these characters we all love so much. All she cared about was making it so and setting it up so that she could milk this cow of money one last time with another bloody show.
I wanted to see their dance too but what would we see for Klaus? Him and Cami? Like come on, that just wouldn‘t have made sense because you could clearly see that Klaus was in love with Caroline. So who would he reunite with? And if they would have shown Elijah but not Klaus, everyone would be wondering whether Klaus was in peace or not. So that would have been even worse.
But I‘m still heartbroken over the finale. All the deaths this season were useless and Klaus was just killed so Julie wouldn‘t have to explain why he‘s not on Legacies. Why didn‘t she just say that he‘s with Caroline showing her the world as he promised? Forever and always mad

I happen to ship Klamille, and would have liked to see Klaus reuniting with Cami. But, even if that wasn't the case, how about Ansel? Or Henrik? Even taking Cami out of the equation, there were still people Klaus would want see again.
