The hair is thriving! Don't be alarmed but you may experience postpartum shedding after having your son. I did not experience mine till about 2 months after my first daughter and 6 months after my second daughter. If you stay up on it you will be fine, but definitely don't want you to be alarmed when it happens.
How does one deal with that with locs postpartum? I experienced it and I'm still a loose natural... my hair grew back but I'm realizing it's not as thick as before. Do the locs drop out?
@@blaqmermaiid You may not loose any but sometimes you will. In my case I just had thinning. I had to do extra care as far as oiling my hair, not doing styles and things like that. I even had to incorporate taking vitamins and continuing to take my prenatal for about a year after having my daughter. Each case is different, but it is manageable.
Your locs look amazing! Not to scare you but postpartum shedding is real. Keep a watch out for it, mostly around your edges, after baby boy comes. Mine always started around 3-4 months after giving birth 😢.
I've only had my locs for a few months and have just been using whatever products I have left over beneath my bathroom sink 😂. But I definitely need to have a few go to's.
I have very dry hair and oil alone just wasn't doing it for me even when i used a lot so now i mix oil and mango butter which is basically shea butter and it works amazing for me and leaves my hair very soft, no build up from it either 🤎🤎
Is there a website where we can purchase the Brown Sugar Shea Butter?
Yes it’s alluriab.com
I’ve been waiting on a microloc update and
Congratulations on the baby boy 🩵💙
Thank you!

Oooh I lost so much hair and wasn’t prepared. Thank you for warning her. I wonder what it’ll be like with locs.

Thank you! I plan on saving the locs that may come out and hopefully I can get them reattached one day

Ooh I’m excited to watch this! How has your hair changed during pregnancy so far? Is it growing faster?
It does seem to be growing faster these days🩷
Thanks for sharing! ❤
You are so welcome!
How many locs do you have
Hey TyKara, how are you? Do you happen to know your loc diameter/sizing?
Is it hard to get the conditioner out? My locs are the same size as yours
