I've already done most of that but left all the wiring intact and the drivers side seat belt so I can drive my car a little when I need to move it.

LOVE the videos! You've taken the guess work out of my project. I have a 72 SB and I'm pretty much doing about the same as you guys and the 71. I was wondering, since I intend to pull the body as well, is there a process with all of these disassembly videos? Perhaps you mentioned it in one of your videos and I just didn't catch it. Just looking to see if I should be following the same steps in order (Interior, doors, trunk, etc) or if it really doesn't make any difference at all. I'm hoping to start disassembly within the next week. Thanks in advance. Anxiously awaiting new vids!

We've done a COMPLETE tear down and pretty much gone with the simplest, most direct route to pulling the car apart. Our videos are released in order so if you're following our most recent releases, they are in order of the disassembly, yes.

Please show how to replace the battery tray. Mine looks to be in about the same condition as the one in the video.

The floor pan video is in the can now, I prefer doing full halves. We did a patch panel on the rear luggage tray, the same method will apply to doing a battery tray so keep an eye out for that video.

It is great, replacing the front firewall where most of the supers rust would be great.

We had to patch the quarter panels, repair the body plates and replace the left heater channel. Fortunately we didn't have any issues with the front firewall other than the body plates.

Hello Jbugs I need your help if possible, I’m having this problem with my bug where Me and passenger are getting a mild electric shock, when I have my left arm on the window I’m constantly getting zapped and I think its stronger when I have contact with the trim molding and the passenger is also getting shocked by the seatbelt buckle, I disconnected the wire that’s attached to horn just in case cause I have an aftermarket steering wheel with some metal on it but it still doing it, any advice. Thank you.

you shouldn't get shocked by 12volt system, unless you are wet. I would look into the ignition system on the engine, if you got a bad ground. That has high voltage to give a person a shock.

There is always electric current traveling through the metal of the car. If you happen to have a little bit of moisture in the air or on your skin and you touch bare metal, there's a good chance you will get a little shock. Kind of like static electricity when you touch a metal door handle in your house, it isn't anything out of the ordinary.
