I have to disagree about the character development of the supporting heroes. If you've seen all of their previous movies, you already know who these characters are. Also, they had like 20 mins of screen time and you can't do justice to their stories along with the main story. All the cameos were mostly about fan service. Pure and simple. We got the added benefits of bringing all of the various IP's together in the same cinematic universe and, as you noted, giving the characters an end story. I love the way they handled Wolverine. The character development for this version was nothing spectacular, but passable enough. I thought the writers did a fantastic job overall.

Isn't Bo Burnham completely wrong about Deadpool? That first movie was a passion project from Ryan Reynolds that he wanted to make for over a decade but the studio wouldn't allow it, and they only allowed it after the test footage leaked, and even then it was given a relatively small budget. What Bo says about it is the exact opposite of the truth of the situation.
I think it applies more so now than before. Deadpool 1 felt like it had a purpose, these last two movies, while having a story that seems justified in its existence, don't feel natural but rather forced storylines, especially the second one lmao idk why the fuck Wade would ever care about some angry fat kid
@@ashleysherlock5705 it doesn’t matter if it’s a passion project lmao, the point I’m making is as the movies went on, it’s more blatantly corporatized. Yeah what Reynolds is trying to do is passion, but guess what, he still needs a corporate daddy to fund it, aka the studios he’s making fun of, are the ones racking in all that sweet money while the audience roasts them after paying them. It’s literally like when corporations make TikTok accounts with quirky admins who use edgy meme formats to resonate with this generation. It’s cringe and we know why you’re doing it, to make money.
Him wanting to come back so he can wear the costume isn’t bleak and I think that’s a naive thing to even say. He’s wanted this for a long time and now he finally had a chance to do it and share it with everyone else who also wanted to see it. People seem to forget that the actors playing these characters are also fans like us, so criticising any reason to want to play your favourite character is just silly tbh.
I think cosmonaut Marcus said it best, the thing is with Deadpool is all of his jokes work the first few times, after a while you’re just like ah yeah ha ha. But I do think dude is little to Harsh with the movie
“Bleak”?! How is someone playing a character they love in the way they’ve always wanted to “Bleak”?? That is one of the most cynical things I’ve ever heard.
@@sinapeak Bruh literally he’s like that one millennial whos on Reddit way too much and is over analyzing a fun-super hero movie. This film was absolutely incredible and I feel as if its flaws can be overlooked because of just how much joy and love was put into this. This film is like a love letter to our beloved X-Men franchise (from the old times) and the credits reel montage really pays homage to that. This video just comes off as pretentious and snobby expecting the movie to be some game changing mindblowing cinematic masterpiece when in reality not every film needs to be winning oscars to be enjoyable.
I think out of all the Deadpool films, this is the one where the metatextuality has some relevance to the overall theme of the film. I mean, the fact that Deadpool himself thinks he'll only be worthy if he's an Avenger, or Marvel Jesus, is such a brilliant commentary on the current landscape of the superhero movies. Also, I disagree about the third act being anti-climactic. I still think it ties to the themes of purpose and companionship. Yes, it's not very meta, but the focus on the two titular characters made it a lot more emotionally satisfying for me atleast. And the army of Deadpool is obviously a dig at the frustratingly endless possibilities of the multiverse.
As a die hard fan of the Fox X-Men movies, I loved this movie as a farewell to that franchise. It’s not perfect, but it’s a much better sendoff than Dark Phoenix.
Saying that the reason of “wanting to wear the costume” is bleake is a little weird to me. Why does Hugh’s opinion not matter at all? He really wanted to play the character again, he’s not being dragged back by the studio
“Blade” definitely started the superhero film era we’re still in, except it wasn’t from Fox, it was New Line. Glad he still made it into the movie somehow.
It didn’t at all Back then nobody even knew blade was a superhero movie Nobody knew it was a marvel character. Spider-Man started the superhero genre lol
@@notBrockerAye idiot blade has marvel logos. Just like all marvel associated movies . It literally opens with the marvel flip book. And I'm sure the comic readers knew.
Am the only one who found the complaints about the action being “bland and impactless” kind of weird? Yes the movie isn’t exactly The work of Roger Deakins but the action scenes had a lot of energy and flow to it. The opening scene is a work of art and the fight between Logan and Wade in the car was hilarious.
Nah. It's a pretty valid argument. Outside of the opening act every other fight scene in the franchise is better. Doesn't play a factor in how much I enjoyed the movie but it's still a valid criticism. Like the fighting in The Dark Knight trilogy is kinda lame but I love those movies to death.
@@thabreez456 why even bring up Deakins who isn’t known for action at all? I’m guessing he’s the only dp you’ve heard of? And also, you named the only two well shot action scenes in the movie. The rest were mainly wide angle docustyle lazy coverage. A superhero movie should have good action. One featuring Deadpool and wolverine with an R rating should have incredible action. Sadly the best they could do was mid.
I honestly don’t understand the complaints. The opening was awesome, seeing Deadpool and Wolverine fighting each other was epic, and seeing gambit kick ass was great. Honestly, I feel like some people were burned so bad by the trash the MCU has shoveled out, that they just don’t want to say anything positive about Deadpool and Wolverine lol
It’s… “bleak” that Jackman wanted to come back so he could finally wear the comic-accurate suit after not getting to for 20 years? This, ladies and gents, is what it looks like when you get so “sophisticated” with your media tastes that you need to read an essay to break down and evaluate the significance of “fun” in cinema.
Funny to me how (not just this channel) so many RUclipsrs have so much integrity about for example how a movie franchise manipulates the audience and basically takes their money then gleefully advertises some random steam game they probably haven’t played and yell “Go play it!”
@@BigNavy8175I guess. But you’re making what they do possible. I think most viewers would take the trade off. And they are never not transparent about being sponsored
That honestly would've been better. Then Wade could wipe his memory then drop him back into his timeline to die. The Wolverine we got has the same backstory anyway. At least this way the Logan from the Fox films would have gotten the chance to be an X-Man in the yellow and blue before dying

So lemme understand this , you're "comic" fan and yet its bleak for the guy who played wolverine for 17 YEARS to come back because he didnt get to wear the costume?
Making a movie just for the costume would be bleak. Thankfully this movie was about more than that, and I think our guy made that pretty clear in this video.
Ikr. The original Deadpool movie was relatively low budget. Hell, the original movie would have probably never been made if it wasn't for the test footage leak.
@@anothermiddleschoolburnout8816 It’s not just a probably it straight up never would’ve been made. Fox was way too scared to take a risk making an R rated superhero movie especially one with the same guy who starred in green lantern which is why they constantly turned Ryan down on the pitch

@@LeMecQuiestCool nobody has ever called it a small tiny indie film. But it was definitely low budget because fox had absolutely no faith in the project
It is good. As far as im concerned, D&W is the best superhero comedy since the original Deadpool. It seems like people are making way too much out of this comedy. It was never meant to be Citizen Kane. It wasn't even meant to be another X-Men Days of Future Past. This is just a great, fun, zany, meta comedy like The Mask... only with a lot more violence. It's also meant as a love letter to fans of the pre-MCU Marvel superhero movies like Blade, Fantastic Four, Daredevil and X-Men. And for my money, this movie succeeds gloriously. As far as Wolverine is concerned, seeing him in his full classic yellow suit is one of the greatest reveal in any superhero movie. In Logan, Hugh proved once and for all that he is Logan. As far as im concerned, Hugh gave the performance of his career. In D&W, he proves once and for all that he is the Wolverine
They could have worked more on the storyline. They should have. It's not like they don't have time or money. It doesn't need to be Citizen Kane, but it could have a story more than a show of cameos and i say because You can see they have the same idea, just it didn't land. The Best part are Deadpool and Wolverine. At least they take care of the legacy of Logan. I'm glad for that at last.
Yeah I completely agree with everything you've said bud, in terms of fan service especially with all the throwbacks/cameos of the forgotten Marvel icons of the 90's/00's and the euphoria - I hadn't felt like that since Spider-Man NWH and it was absolutely glorious. Oh and Hugh finally wearing the iconic Wolverine outfit that I grew up seeing on the 90's X-Men cartoon towards the end with the mask and sleeveless suit - seeing that was such a jaw dropping moment, I'd been waiting numerous years to see it and it certainly didn't disappoint and in the words of the Homelander meme, 'It was perfect, perfect. Everything down to last minute details'.
If the wolverines suit is the symbol of his guilt and tribute to his xmen team then I really like to think when he helped wade bridge the time ripper and his shirt dissolved its maybe Logan letting go of his guilt shedding his skin and coming out with a new outlook
Good take, but the problem is he keeps the mask. Personally, I would've preferred if they went with the opposite direction. Have the suit symbolise teamwork and the dream of the X-Men instead. Have him refuse to wear it at first since he feels he failed them. Then, in that scene where he comes out the car to fight Cassandra, have him wear the suit for the first time! Then him keeping the mask at the end would make sense.
8:43 well for one the studio didn't bring Hugh Jackman back Hugh Jackman brought himself back he personally contacted Ryan Reynolds and asked to do it because it was something he really really wanted to do
Some of you movie critics are so cynical u already said you don’t like Deadpool but know about Deadpool comics? The way you talk about movies and the super hero genre in general makes me think you don’t even like them, do u even like movies ? Do u even enjoy watching stuff
Just cause people are critical on a medium doesn't mean they don't like the medium. Super hero movies are over saturated, so the whole genre is super stale and imo the previous 2 deadpool movies haven't aged well. So I can into the movie with the same attitude as the youtuber and I was impressed with the sincerity of the movie for the fox movies.
I'm critical of the medium BECAUSE I enjoy it. Fans deserve more films at a Dark Knight or Spiderverse quality, and shouldn't blindly praise mediocrity just because of IP and nostalgia bait. I want to watch superhero movies that are good movies by movie standards, not good by whatever bar is set in the genre recently. Making something that is more "fun" than Black Widow or Love and Thunder is not an accomplishment to praise.
Some of us are aware of every point you’re throwing but we still went and enjoyed it because end of the day, we just want to be entertained. If everything in this world must be taken seriously and cynical, I might as well be an emotionless robot. It was never gonna be perfect, nothing in life is.
I mean, in the hot ones interview Jackman said he wanted to partner with Ryan since the origins film and he was dying to get into the right costume for years. I don't see why people can't just enjoy things they like, no one's making you watch the movie and both actors clearly loved working together on the film.
7/10 as a movie, 11/10 for sheer fun entertainment. Loved it. It was a surprisingly heartfelt love letter to the Fox universe that Ryan and Hugh came from, and finally gives them the movie they deserved to make up for Origins. It was a movie made by people who clearly love the characters, and I don't think we've had that for a while.
This movie felt like a letter from a little kid who is writing to his older brother, whom he looked up to, reminiscing about his memories and the unfinished games they played. Now, that kid is an adult and trying to relive the moments with his own children.
It's interesting to see people complain about how thin and therefore bad the plot is and how devoid of depth and meaning it is as a result. On the superficial level, I can definitely agree that there isn't much going on, but when you take a look under the hood, there is actually a fair bit of heart, both for the characters and on a meta level. The metatextual reading that carries so much of the emotional and thematic weight (which is totally on brand for Deadpool) is just going to go completely over your head and isn't going to land if you simply don't have an abiding love for comic book movies and don't have a knowledge of the last quarter century of their history on and offscreen. With that in mind, I totally get why many "professional reviewers" just don't connect with this movie and only see it from the cynical perspective. In contrast, I think the reason why it seems to be resonating so much with audiences, aside from the fact that it's an MCU project that's finally not afraid to be cool again, is because it goes out of its way to respect that audience and reward their investment with a genuinely fun and cool (albeit simple) adventure. Who could have possibly ghessed that respecting your audience and rewarding their investment was a pathway to success? Here's hoping Marvel (and Lucasfilm and Disney as a whole) take thorough notes and have the humility and good sense to change accordingly.
12:15 Actually, yes Scott, I would have preferred the yellow spandex. Best thing this movie did by far was give us some yellow and blue wolverine goodness
Also Scott in the Cartoon "what would you prefer Black Leather?" DIFFERENT variant same lil sassy bitch. 😂 we need Cyclops to have a Proper film incarnation.
The Fox tribute in the credits genuinely made me cry. It showed that no matter the quality of those movies, people had fun making them. And they were important to some people.
When Wolverine pulled the mask, I was like maybe it was a good idea he wasn't wearing it in live action. Some things just don't work but Gambit was so faithful it is just biblically accurate.
Saying that wolverine finds Deadpool "just as annoying as everyone in the audience" is kinda crazy, maybe it's just me but who other than YOU is finding Deadpool annoying?! Am I wrong, this is so confusing to me
Deadpool being annoying is nothing new. Practically everyone, both in-universe and out, finds him annoying. In the comics, this has caused him several problems. If the audience thinks he's annoying, that just means they did a good job portraying his character. Though personally, I'm disappointed he doesn't talk about chimichangas enough in these movies.
This film is so much larger than the other 2 and I mean that in the best way. It's brilliantly heartfelt. And a lot more detailed with its nuance than any of us could've expected. It's essentially a love letter sendoff to all the FOX Marvel properties. It commentaries where Marvel Studios' missteps since Endgame, completes Deadpool's own arc in the trilogy, and lastly provided Hugh Jackman with his very BEST WOLVERINE PERFORMANCE YET! Besides NWH, this was the most enriching superhero film experience since 2019.
Film makers making key story choices because they thought "it would be cool", is better motivation than many in Hollywood and makes me expect a better film.
Generally I would have the same feelings about Jackman coming back as Wolverine after Logan, but not this one... mainly because Ryan Reynolds has been fighting to have this happens long before Deadpool and Logan. They never really got what they want from Wolverine: Origin. So this never came across as some cynical money grab, but rather friends helping friends to fulfill something they long to do... and it's always good to see something succeed for all the right reasons. Reynolds has spend decades fighting for Deadpool, and it's nice to see success that comes from dedication. And I wouldn't say Ryan Reynolds is just 'playing' Deadpool in other movies, mainly because Deadpool as a character in the comic was in part slowly model after Reynolds style after it's inception. It's why Reynolds lean into it all those decades ago. It's like Marvel Ultimate envision Samuel L. Jackson as Ultimate Nick Fury, and so the MCU made it true. You can't really say Reynolds is 'playing' Deadpool when the whole character was molded towards him.
That's actually what convinced him to play Deadpool and be forever attached to the character. He was given a couple Deadpool comic books to check out if he likes him and the first one he picked up was that very issue and quickly decided that it was destiny.
Hugh didn't come back purely because he wanted to wear the costume. It was because he felt working with Ryan's Deadpool would give him a unique experience and allow him to work a dynamic he hadn't had a chance to yet as Wolverine.
@@liampugh But thats the entire point?! They are doing a service for the fans, which means it is very specialized. if you aren't familiar with the characters, its not the film for you.
@@liampugha real movie was there, but it’s nothing to really praise as much due to its generic plot. The movie was succeeding in other aspects other than writing
this vid seems like the kinda vid someone would look back on years from now thinking ''i can't believe i used to talk like this''. the irony of calling the humor reddit level and then proceeding to criticize the franchise in the stereotypical reddit way is not lost and a very good example of meta humor! good job!
Also the 10 minutes breathless word vomit about how he *thought* it was gonna be bad but then it wasn't are a real test of patience. Like, I don't need a 30 minutes worthless schizo rant about how you had a sh+t opinion about something in the movie before seeing the movie, tell me how you fkn felt after seeing the movie and GTFO. I didn't even like D&W that much, it was very entertaining but I prob liked it less than him, and this review is getting on my fkn nerves lol
Anyone else? Notice wade saved his universe in the end. He did not have to join the other universe in the end. He is not in the 616 so he must like do day trips to the 616 or something now. Or his universe is the rated R universe.
He'd already made at least one trip into the 616-Universe using Cable's watch following the end of "Deadpool 2". That's where he applied to be an Avenger.
@@HonestJohn_01.19I was so confused by that scene. Cables watch is a time travel watch. We’ve never seen it have any multiverse hopping abilities unless negasonic and yukio equipped it with that off screen which still doesn’t make a whole lot sense since negasonic would knoe just how irresponsible Wade would be with such a device.
Edit: @superadambomb5834 In Deadpool's case time travel IS Universe hopping. As it was never explicitly stated that Cable's watch could only move back, and forth across ONE timeline. Which, we kind of already knew was the case when Deadpool killed Ryan Reynolds as he was reading the script for Green Lantern (a non-MCU timeline) at the end of Deadpool 2.
I think Hugh Jackman's potrayal of this 'failed' wolverine parallels how veterans returning from duty with PTSD react to life after a war. In the end of the day he is a hero but he doesn't feel like it. He's trying to drink his pain and guilt away thinking he never did or was meant to do any good in the world. By the end of the movie he completely redeems himself.
Great Video!!! As a Huge X-Men and Deadpool Fan, This Movie was Everything I Ever Wanted!!! It was an Absolute Dream Come True to see Two of My Favorite Characters Of All Time Team Up with Hugh Jackman Finally wearing THE Wolverine Costume. And that Montage during The End Credits made Me Tear Up because I Love The Fox X-Men Movies So Much They Mean So Much to Me and sure they're not Perfect, But They have a Special Place In My Heart. This Whole Movie was a Beautiful Tribute to The Fox Marvel Universe and I Freaking Loved It. In My Opinion, Marvel Is BACK!!! LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a comic book movie It's not that deep. Climb down off your high horse characters die and come back to life all the time.. deadpool comics always had cameos. It's not some sinister corporate master plan lol
Tbh i never thought they could pull off the cowl in live action and wasn't expecting them to even try it. However, when he puts it on i was grinning like a moron 😂. Nothing marvel has put out since No way home, was on par with the feeling you get to see him finaly wear that thing 😂. I gotta say, if you felt nothing at that moment, then why are you even watching a comic book movie ?
How I view super hero movies is like comic books, character can die in a story, and brought back in a different story. We accept it, why not in movies too.
This turn around of this video is amazing and absolutely nails the reason I loved this movie so much. But one editors note, 22:39 was a bad example because Deadpool said he was so sorry about her loss" and elektra said "It's fine and struggled it off" so they did give some growth for the characters. There quite a bit of little nods like that, like Gambit saying it feels like he was only born in the void. I actually think for the time they got they gave the character a chance to grow since we last saw them.
You thought way too much of this movie the point is let’s put 2 super cool characters Wolverine and Deadpool together and make something that keeps your attention just through humor, action and awesome cameos
Really liked seeing Blade, Elektra, and Gambit but I wish they actually contributed to Deadpool's character development rather than just be there to move along the plot and serve as a goodbye to the Fox era. Maybe Deadpool could've been forced to choose between saving his Earth or the entire multiverse and he's convinced to save the latter by the Fox heroes
The Cameos in this movie contributing to the plot and being necessary to get the protagonist from A to B is already better than every other Cameo to date
The themes of this movie must have went over your head if you think those characters didn't help progress Wade's character or Logan's character or the narrative. Think a little deeper, kid. What do all of those characters have in common and what was Wade and Logan trying to achieve for their own growth?

So you dislike the first Deadpool….. cuz it was using the same humor as the comics…. So you just hate the comics of Deadpool then? And btw it was made as a passion project with the sole intention of giving viewers and fans what they have been wanting forever. But nope it’s the corporate ploy to make money. Isn’t that literally every single business that uses advertisements such as this video?
16:44 I'm pretty sure the whole reason is to why they haven't put any new X-Men or recasted X-Men into the MCU yet is because a lot of the fox actors were under contract for a certain amount of time so in order for them to actually bring in those characters they would have to use those actors
I have never seen a RUclips video be more FACTUALLY WRONG in my entire life. 1. Hugh jackman was the one who decided to come back not Disney making him. 2. Hugh jackman didn’t know he was going to be wearing the yellow suit when he signed on so that’s not why he signed on. 3. And lastly that X24 comparison is a MASSIVE stretch
Deadpool & Wolverine was just a good version of The Flash. A buddy trip movie staring one funny character and one serious one played by an actor reprising his role which fans love so much many say it can never be replicated, the two of which go on a cameo filled multiverse journy. The difference is there isn't one single thing that The Flash executed properly to the point that I don't understand how any movie can get made without a single right decision being made even by accident. D&W on the other hand was an absolute blast from begining to end and even doubled as a sincere and unapologetic love letter to the X-Men film franchise and several other non-MCU Marvel films that all resulted in the genre beng what it is today. It even loves the bad ones because they too mattered and brought us here.
What I loved about the use of the void is that the Loki show treatment of the timelines was read by many as a commentary about the whole cannon/multiverse issue. This movie seems to have completely understood that and put it to good use.
I loved this movie, but I don't understand how a character can be so in-your-face about his attraction to men, yet audiences still largely consider him straight
It's because he never actually acts on it. It's easy to write it off as him just "making jokes" rather than actually being bi because there's no "proof." Until he has sex with a man on camera, maybe even has a romantic relationship rather than sexual, some people will always consider him straight unfortunately.
I foresee people make similar videos to this in a little under two years when Doomsday comes out. Everyone thinks it’s going to be awful due to bringing Downey back, but I have a feeling that after we see it we’ll see people making “I was wrong about RDJ about Doctor Doom” videos.

I cried tears of pure joy multiple times throughout the movie as a massive fan of the x men characters and the fox marvel era, lots of moments where I was freaking out because of the references, the action, but nothing compared to my excitement when Gambit stepped onto the screen looking just like the comics I love, Gambit is my favorite character in all of fiction, the second I saw his coat start to pass through the door I started to tear up in happiness, I had to suppress a squeal, the movie might've not been perfect, but the win of seeing gambit enough alone to make this one of my new favorite movies ever
If Marvel never sold the film rights to some of their characters, it would just be one companies intellectual property. But because that happened and required the rights to their own characters now it's a monopoly?
As someone who grew up with the Fox marvel movies and Hugh's Wolverine (first one came out when i was 4) this movie was made for me. The callbacks, the references, and the reverence for where the MCU came from made me a happy audience member. The writers knew what the audience wanted and delivered it in a way that honored what came before. And most importantly, they gave us shirtless Hugh one more time.
Does he? Does Burnham buy Nike? Nike is a billion dollar corporation acting like they get the everyday person. Cmon Burnham; don’t be a sheep. See? I can do it too.

Everything down to last minute details'.
brother, his reason for coming back was literally "i want to do a Wolverine film with Ryan's Deadpool."
If the wolverines suit is the symbol of his guilt and tribute to his xmen team then I really like to think when he helped wade bridge the time ripper and his shirt dissolved its maybe Logan letting go of his guilt shedding his skin and coming out with a new outlook
That's a great take I hadn't considered
Good take, but the problem is he keeps the mask. Personally, I would've preferred if they went with the opposite direction. Have the suit symbolise teamwork and the dream of the X-Men instead. Have him refuse to wear it at first since he feels he failed them. Then, in that scene where he comes out the car to fight Cassandra, have him wear the suit for the first time! Then him keeping the mask at the end would make sense.

Yea
But after soo many failed films by Marvel and others i would be too
Just cause people are critical on a medium doesn't mean they don't like the medium. Super hero movies are over saturated, so the whole genre is super stale and imo the previous 2 deadpool movies haven't aged well. So I can into the movie with the same attitude as the youtuber and I was impressed with the sincerity of the movie for the fox movies.
For real. I like marvel movies and deadpool.

Deadpool and Ryan were made for each other. Many years ago Deadpool even described himself as looking like Ryan Reynolds in the comics
I dont think “wearing the costume” is the only reason why he came back. Its probably one of them but I doubt its the only reason.

I was disappointed they didn't show Howlett as one of the Wolverine options in the montage 😅
I didn’t even know most people considered him straight. Especially after Deadpool 2
You don't like Deadpool?
Well, that makes (counts on fingers) one of you.
I'm kidding. The world is a big place. I'm sure if you searched really, really hard you could find maybe 3 people who don't like Deadpool
You are aware, aren't you, that this movie was Hugh Jackman's idea?
Well, you've convinced me that your opinions aren't worth the time to listen to
*Deadpool and Wolverine is a terrible movie*
Yes. I said it. I'm tired of people saying "it was great". Not even the cameos were great, except for like 4 of them, and Juggernaut DIDN'T FIGHT AT ALL. Such a let down.
Sure, the cameos are good, but the plot itself is terrible. The movie doesn't go anywhere. I was so disappointed after watching it and would've felt better watching a bootleg version online
Deadpool 2 was the best one in my opinion
we did not ask you
I cried tears of pure joy multiple times throughout the movie as a massive fan of the x men characters and the fox marvel era, lots of moments where I was freaking out because of the references, the action, but nothing compared to my excitement when Gambit stepped onto the screen looking just like the comics I love, Gambit is my favorite character in all of fiction, the second I saw his coat start to pass through the door I started to tear up in happiness, I had to suppress a squeal, the movie might've not been perfect, but the win of seeing gambit enough alone to make this one of my new favorite movies ever
Someone missed the Ben Affleck jab
8.5/10 for me. Great review brother
"it's just a movie, turn off your brain" brigade came out in NUMBERS on this one
Some people just want to have fun man the world is shut enough as it is
I really hate you RUclipsrs critics
May I ask why? lol we're not all the same. I get not liking one person's opinion, but we aren't a monolith.
The general air of pretentiousness. Most of you fall within that category. Good day.
nah bro. if hugh jackman wanna wear the costume then IMA LET HIM wear the costume!!!!
Did you ever read the Deadpool comics?
If Marvel never sold the film rights to some of their characters, it would just be one companies intellectual property. But because that happened and required the rights to their own characters now it's a monopoly?
As someone who grew up with the Fox marvel movies and Hugh's Wolverine (first one came out when i was 4) this movie was made for me. The callbacks, the references, and the reverence for where the MCU came from made me a happy audience member. The writers knew what the audience wanted and delivered it in a way that honored what came before. And most importantly, they gave us shirtless Hugh one more time.
Movie critics whinging about dead characters returning like theyve never read a single comic run in their lives. Like welcome to the genre clown.
You think for yourself. I respect that enormously. It's really refreshing! 😅 You're a true movie and series critic and reviewer!😅
Yeah but Deadpool and Wolverine doesn't wants to be Spiderverse, there are a bit different.
Does he? Does Burnham buy Nike? Nike is a billion dollar corporation acting like they get the everyday person. Cmon Burnham; don’t be a sheep.
See? I can do it too. The guy is pretentious and missed the points of Deadpool.
Also, the guy who is narrating also misunderstood Hugh’s thinking in coming back. And also doesn’t seem to care that it’s what THE FANS wanted.
Sheesh. Why are so many movie critics so obnoxious and miss so much?
