I had nosebleeds almost every day when I was young, before the age of 18.. My brother in law who is an MD told me to take 400 IU of natural vitamin E every day, sometimes 2X per day. They stopped after a week. Maybe instead of every day once per week.. I would stop and they would return. Start vitamin E and they would stop again. When I turned 19 they stopped altogether.

If you get them like once a week, definitely talk to your doctor about it, once a month I would just mention it next visit. Past two days I’ve had gushing nosebleeds but I think the cause is the dry air, even tho it’s never bothered my nose before ( we moved more south recently ) still gonna mention it to my doctor when I visit soon, and probably ask about how to keep my nose moisturized

DRY AIR will make my nose bleed. So will colds. a small amount of water based XY jelly just inside the nose (applied with a q tip) usually prevent it. But dry air really does it to me
My husband was known as a free bleeder growing up because out of no where he’d bleed. He also grew up in Alabama where it’s usually hot and humid during spring and summer and just throughout the yr. For yrs it stopped and now after we met and had a kid, due to stress and exhaustion he sometimes wakes with a bloody nose. Not very often but I suppose it’s normal. He seems overall fine after it happens.

I've had nosebleeds ever since I was a baby because of a medical thing that runs in the family (the medical thing being HHT) and I can have up to 3 - 4 in a day easily. If you're having some almost every day it might not hurt to be checked out for that, even if it is rare, since nosebleeds is a very common side effect and can lead to larger issues in the future

Update I actually fixed the problem. I used a nose gel or nose oil that u spray in your nostrils. It moisturizes the skin so it doesn't crack kinda like when Ur hands skin crack from dryness. I used it twice a day for a week and now once every few days just incase it might be dry
@@MsMusicAholic1 they were just like any other but before I learned how to to stop it with tissues in my nose it lasted for 15 minutes and it's so annoying sometimes if get 3 in a day sometimes several days in a row. I got a Humidifier and I literally avoided touching my nose or blowing it at any cost and still when I decide to lightly blow it very carefully it bled. But yeah The nose oil/gel spray solved it permanently for me. It's been more than a month and I feel great. I don't even use Ur that often

Ok so recently I went to Madrid and everyday I ended up with about 2-3 nosebleeds…. However instead of getting better, they got worse. I ended up with 8 nosebleeds in a matter of 3 days… then one night I got a really severe nose bleed so severe it wouldn’t stop dripping constantly for 15 minutes to the point I was panicking and crying (cos I panic very easily)….so I went down to the reception in my hotel that I was staying at and it was so bad that the guy offered to call an ambulance. He didn’t in the end…. And luckily my nose stopped bleeding….. How serious is this? Should a nose bleed like this be of concern? I’ve been stressing about it all day and night and would love to have someone reply to this comment and help me out.
I’m here to tell you right now get yourself checked, just a few hours ago I had to go to the ER cause of a really severe nosebleed, so bad it was coming out my mouth from my nose, and I had to find a way to control my breathing, scariest moment of my life tbh, and now I’m here watching videos of nose bleeds, I got an appointment with an Ear Nose & Throat doctor on Monday, im definitely trying not to touch my nose until then lol, cause I’m not trying to have that again, I hope you are doing better now tho, I see it’s been 11 days. UPDATE: I went to my ENT he said everything looked good and I went for a checkup at regular doctors and I have very high blood pressure and my ENT said that may have caused it, that nosebleed was a sign he said to have my blood pressure checked, my blood pressure was 181/115 which was stage 3 hyper tension, been on blood pressure meds and now they it’s around 120/65 steadily, if I woulda let my blood pressure reach the 200s I’d probably would have had a heart attack or stroke in two years or something
It’s really stress and high blood pressure that causes these things. Once I eat more healthy and my blood pressure is down I notice I don’t get nose bleeds as bad as I did before when I eat like shit and my blood pressure is high. That’s what causes it most of the time and if u live in a dry place like I do it doesn’t help it either.

I had one at the hospital and I thought wth why my nose bleed, so I thought ok just maybe like 3 mins of bleeding and it I’ll go away, went on for 10 mins and it came out a lot like wtf and then I called the nurse he was like oh shit so I told em it’s been going on for 10 mins help , so he tried to do the same thing tilt ur head back etc went on for 5 more mins then finally stopped but after that I had a bad headache, now it’s 420 am my nose did it again, I’m freaking out 😳
@@Gr33nbayfreak187 don't tilt your head back, it will just go down your throat. I would recommend tilting your head forward whilst pinching the end of your nose, this will allow the blood to clot. And to make the process faster you could put an ice pack on your nose (but still pinch your nose and tilt your head forward, oh and preferably with a tissue). Hope this helped :).
At school I randomly had one in assembly and didn’t know what to do but luckily my teacher was right behind me so it was kinda easy but the same day I had another one and then another the next day basically 4 days in a row. Tomorrow I have swimming I really hope I don’t have one when I’m swimming 😳
I had nosebleeds my whole life, left and right nostril, sometimes lasting 10 minutes and some times lasting up to an hour. It's become so common I don't even care if I get one anymore. I've had cauterising multiple times but it never goes. Occurs in the summer when it's hot. My suspect is an allergy.
I got tested and had a ton of allergies and that is probably what it is because mine have subsided after getting a few shots you should at least get tested

Lately I've been getting nose bleeds only in my right nostril when I pick into it, thinking I have a small scab or booger. I would sometimes use my finger or tissue to remove whatever I feel...but then it starts to leak blood soon afterwards. Now I know how to stop it. But why every time I dig my right nostril for the passed week or so, a develop a nose bleed. One time I woke up with one thinking it was just a running nose n I messed up my pillow one time until I really see what it was. And no I didn't go to my doctor yet, but after seeing this...I think I will bring it to my doctor's attention.
Yes it might just be a damaged vessel from picking!! After years I got diagnosed with a blood disease which worsens my bleeds and they also said picking can burst the vessels inside so try not to pick it as much, I’m guilty of it too
Both my nostrils have been cauterized twice and my i still have constant nose bleeds, they usually happen at the same time. Early in the morning around 3, then at around 7-8 in morning when i get ready for school and as soon as i get home from school.

i had nosebleed that couldn't stop and i was sent to hospital, the doctor said i have high blood pressure that caused the bleeding. they gave me medication to reduce my blood pressure and that took me a month or more to recover from the medication. recently i had the same nosebleed, and i ate a banana(potassium), the nosebleed stops and i could go walk 8km the next day. nosebleed could caused by too much sodium food intake, so, a banana(or coconut water with high potassium) could be your magic pill.

I had been feeling great, I blew my nose both sides and about 15-20 mins later my nose felt wet, I realized it was blood just figured a light nose bleed hadn't had one in about 5 years. So I go to restroom and seen how it just was coming out like water on left nostril seemed like 45 mins couldn't get to stop. I feel fine and feel like I'm breathing normal. Felt a little nauseated yesterday I slept and feel better today.

Bloodclot happens to everybody. I bleed from my nose up to several times a day and my cause is that I am allergic. So every summer I start bleeding because of dryness in my nose. Hope this helped you man!

My nose has been bleeding since I was little. I'd say it's mainly because of dryness of my nose, having hay fever and blowing my nose too often/too hard. I went to a nose doctor several times and he used electricity to zap it shut but I still have some occasional outbursts, especially during summer because of the heat and previously mentioned allergy.

same im awake for like 5pm to 8am and sometime i get nosebleeds at 6am and sometimes when i woke up my bed has blood on it

ok, just recently (the past two days), ive had 2-3 nosebleeds every day. theyre pretty bad too, dripping out of my nose almost a constant stream of blood. and even though im embarrassed about this, yes i do pick my nose. im not sure if this is allergies, dry air, a blood vessel close to the surface, idk but im scared

@@shane6719 IM OK LOL i think it was just dry air. it only happened at my dads house and out of one nostril. the thing i hated tho was each time when it happened was a HUGE booger came out and then the nosebleed stopped immediately after. but im ok now!! i hope you figure it out!!

I use to have really bad headaches and like 30-40 min nosebleeds every other day as well for like 10 years. Went to many doctors and no one could figure out what it was!

I had one at the hospital and I thought wth why my nose bleed, so I thought ok just maybe like 3 mins of bleeding and it I’ll go away, went on for 10 mins and it came out a lot like wtf and then I called the nurse he was like oh shit so I told em it’s been going on for 10 mins help , so he tried to do the same thing tilt ur head back etc went on for 5 more mins then finally stopped but after that I had a bad headache, now it’s 420 am my nose did it again, I’m freaking out 😳
@@Gr33nbayfreak187 don't tilt your head back, it will just go down your throat. I would recommend tilting your head forward whilst pinching the end of your nose, this will allow the blood to clot. And to make the process faster you could put an ice pack on your nose (but still pinch your nose and tilt your head forward, oh and preferably with a tissue). Hope this helped :).

At school I randomly had one in assembly and didn’t know what to do but luckily my teacher was right behind me so it was kinda easy but the same day I had another one and then another the next day basically 4 days in a row. Tomorrow I have swimming I really hope I don’t have one when I’m swimming 😳

I had nosebleeds my whole life, left and right nostril, sometimes lasting 10 minutes and some times lasting up to an hour. It's become so common I don't even care if I get one anymore. I've had cauterising multiple times but it never goes. Occurs in the summer when it's hot. My suspect is an allergy.
I got tested and had a ton of allergies and that is probably what it is because mine have subsided after getting a few shots you should at least get tested
Same thing I did CT, MRI blood test all results are fine so am used to it now

Lately I've been getting nose bleeds only in my right nostril when I pick into it, thinking I have a small scab or booger. I would sometimes use my finger or tissue to remove whatever I feel...but then it starts to leak blood soon afterwards. Now I know how to stop it. But why every time I dig my right nostril for the passed week or so, a develop a nose bleed. One time I woke up with one thinking it was just a running nose n I messed up my pillow one time until I really see what it was. And no I didn't go to my doctor yet, but after seeing this...I think I will bring it to my doctor's attention.
Yes it might just be a damaged vessel from picking!! After years I got diagnosed with a blood disease which worsens my bleeds and they also said picking can burst the vessels inside so try not to pick it as much, I’m guilty of it too

Both my nostrils have been cauterized twice and my i still have constant nose bleeds, they usually happen at the same time. Early in the morning around 3, then at around 7-8 in morning when i get ready for school and as soon as i get home from school.
My nose bleeds about 1 time a week in the winter and about 1 time a month in winter it comes out my mouth but it’s likely from my heart condition and medicines for it but it’s still scary when it happens
I have this problem and the more allergies and dry it is the more bleeding you get,it sucks because it happens at work and i wake up from bleeding and headaches but then again i also have sleep apnea so it could also be that or you have thin blood from things like anemia

i had nosebleed that couldn't stop and i was sent to hospital, the doctor said i have high blood pressure that caused the bleeding. they gave me medication to reduce my blood pressure and that took me a month or more to recover from the medication. recently i had the same nosebleed, and i ate a banana(potassium), the nosebleed stops and i could go walk 8km the next day. nosebleed could caused by too much sodium food intake, so, a banana(or coconut water with high potassium) could be your magic pill.

I had been feeling great, I blew my nose both sides and about 15-20 mins later my nose felt wet, I realized it was blood just figured a light nose bleed hadn't had one in about 5 years. So I go to restroom and seen how it just was coming out like water on left nostril seemed like 45 mins couldn't get to stop. So days followed spitting up blood dark red color not allot when I normal spit its white but when clearing my nose or throat dard red blood still present is this just left over blood from the nose bleed or am I bleeding from somewhere inside? I feel fine and feel like I'm breathing normal. Felt a little nauseated yesterday I slept and feel better today.

I just had a 40 minute nosebleed in the shower and it was like no nosebleed I had ever had, and I’ve always had a ton of random nosebleeds since I was little. What can be the cause of this? Is it serious? Also the blood clot would always fall out of my nose.
Bloodclot happens to everybody. I bleed from my nose up to several times a day and my cause is that I am allergic. So every summer I start bleeding because of dryness in my nose. Hope this helped you man!

My nose has been bleeding since I was little. I'd say it's mainly because of dryness of my nose, having hay fever and blowing my nose too often/too hard. I went to a nose doctor several times and he used electricity to zap it shut but I still have some occasional outbursts, especially during summer because of the heat and previously mentioned allergy.
