As someone who’s been using Ohuhus for a long time, the caps almost never match the color, so swatch sheets are necessary. I always organize them by number so the color I want is easiest to find. However, every artist is different, and your process is your process ❤

One solution is to tape the swatch to the marker itself too so you can quick glance at the marker instead of looking for the swatch paper i always inevitable lose

I find myself coming back to this video after i (to my great surprise and immense happiness) recieved this exact set of markers for christmas this year, and now sit here completing this exact same process... for hours... and struggling😅 but im so close to finished and its so worth it because it looks so PRETTY and correct now!! 🥰🥰 can't wait to start making art with these, watching your videos has made me so much more comfortable delving into other mediums and mixing media. It always helps organizing something if you listen to music. Whenever I put away my laundry, I listen to my playlist, or some of my records. If you have any questions about what I would recommend, I would love to answer them!
I used to listen to music while cleaning my room, but nowadays it doesn’t help anymore 🥲 so I put on a podcast and it did wonders 😂 I guess it somehow distracts me enough from the cleaning that it doesn’t feel like cleaning anymore

The reorganization is what I love the most about getting new markers! I can’t afford the 320 set unfortunately but I do understand that after that many markers, it’s not so fun anymore especially after individually swatching them too.
I like watching you organize the markers. It's soothing to my Autism, ADHD, and OCD. If the moving about bugs you too much, maybe look into a foam or cardboard base you can put in yourself. ^-^

Try being a colorblind artist! I have trouble telling certain colors and shades apart and I always need help organizing any supply like this but it must be done! (Even better if the names/colors are printed on the supply)

you should see my clay beads I got for Christmas, I got 2 different sets and it took me like 3 days to completely reorganize it but now it's in perfect rainbow order just how I like it
I watched rhis shortened version and it was SUPER SATISFYING. I'm probably basic for this but my Prismacolors usually come organized by color gradient, so I have no clue why these folks didn't do it right 😂
I would totally watch a recording of that at bedtime. I couldn't handle the chaos for the smaller sets and bought organizers on Amazon. I think I have around 120ish Ohuhu but I also have a good 50 or so Copics, a Blick set, a bunch from Hobby Lobby & Michael's, a couple Prismacolor... I think I returned all the Spectrum Noir I bought. I'm sure I have the better part of 300 total alcohol markers in a few cases. Can't wait to get my art stuff back out of storage ASAP! I got one of the Ohuhu marker pads too and haven't gotten to use it yet.

It seems to be common with a lot of markers. I have some spectrum noir and some off-brand ones from B&M, and none of them match the lids!

If you have some card stock, you can put that between to help prevent mixing and moving

Another problem is that the marker package color is no where near the actual color. Make sure you test them and do the swatch before you try them out.
