I did this when I told my mom and sister that I was planning to be a professional barrel racer. I knew they wouldn't approve (mostly because of money issues in the family). I had charts, graphs, times, schedules and everything prepared when I showed them. They still don't agree with it but they're like alright. If you can do it, go for it.
I had to tell myself over and over again that I had an angel on my shoulder. I lost my dad before my first rodeo in 2012 and he was my only fan. He was helping train Shadow. We have won every time we run (except once when I lost focus). I know I have an angel. He is always riding with me.

Last night I told my fiancé about this kind of mindset after hearing you talk about it at a clinic. This weekend he lost his job. My first reaction was to panic. We have 3 kids to feed and bills to pay and I saw nothing but "sabertooth tigers" everywhere. Last night we talked about this and how we can see this is as blessing bc he's no not stuck doing all the work for an ungrateful and bad decision making trainer and where we are going from here. I appreciate more then you know how much I've learned from you and how it has impacted my life. I'll be emailing you soon to tell you how awesome things have shaped out for us!!

You give life to what you give energy to! I cannot agree with you more. My senior year of high school after coming back from a really horrific car accident where I broke 5 bones, lost a friend and lost my sister who loved showing animals I decided to go out on a limb and do something I've never done before and show a steer at the county fair. Being my first time showing a 1200lb steer I really didn't expect to win anything and I thought I would get dragged around the arena BUT the night before showmanship I practiced with some really experienced showman and they told me to act like I owned that arena and the judge was going to buy me dinner. So I went home and visualized myself walking out of there with a blue ribbon and a buckle all night long! I even planned out my reaction to the point I was shaking from excitement. The next day I went out there and won novice showmanship, senior showmanship and subsequently got put into round robbin or supreme showmanship the very next day. I did the same thing and visualized every step of the way and I won large animal supreme showmanship. To this day I still get the jitters thinking about it and how proud my sister would be of me. I really needed to be reminded of this. Thank you Fallon!

Awesome video!!! Love your inspiration and drive. My wife got me hooked watching your videos. You and Alex always make my day. Lol, Getting rid of my Harley Davidson Vrod and going to buy my wife another horse. Her horse recently passed. She had him since she was 8 years old and he was 2 or 3. He was 30 when he passed. R.i.P Magic. But her passion and love for horses have grown on me. Mid life crisis? Possibly. But I’m going for it, Never been on a horse, I mean come on how much difference is there between horses and Harley’s? Lol. Wink!!

The law of attraction 💜 manifest destiny 💜
You got it girl. And you're right it is very hard to find like minded folks who understand and support.
Be decisive. Be specific. Be committed. Believe it. Feel as though you've already received it.

Thank you! I have been struggling with this! I have been training a mare and I kept reading all the FB posts about you don't scare me I ride a mare. Thinking that she was going to do something bad. When she has never really done anything and I have been trading her for over a year and never getting any progress. Not to mention my dad passed away last year and really put the breaks on my life. But today I went out and only thought about the positive and focused on what I thought was fun. And she did awesome!! Thank you so much for your help.

I get overwhelmed with how much I have to do, and take a bigger bite than I can chew sometimes, and than get disheartened and super slack. Retraining my brain when it wants to shut down for the day is still a process I'm working on. But you gor me thinking, and by using social media & my ttaining page and trying to get pics/videos of every horse to post progress, I've found that helps me stay accountable to myself and all of my projects :)
