Meet HONG 10:
Recognized for his creativity & stamina, Kim Hong-Yeol, aka Hong 10, is an international name in the breaking scene. A former member of the Korean crew Expressions & a current member of Drifterz (X) and FLOWXL (O), B-Boy Hong 10 is not your ordinary world champion.
After winning his first Red Bull BC One World Final in 2006, he returned in 2013 to the notoriously challenging Red Bull BC One 10th Anniversary World Final. This competition gathered all the previous world champions along with the year's best up-and-comers in Seoul, Korea, Hong 10's home country. Amidst the pressure, he came out on top and cemented his place as a two-time Red Bull BC One World Champion.
Since then, he has been recognized globally for his signature moves & passion in nurturing the breaking culture for the next generation. His major solo and crew titles span all the top international events, including UK B-Boy Championships, Battle of the Year, New Taipei BBoy City and Freestyle Session Korea.
To Hong 10, breaking is a two-way street. You gotta give respect to earn respect! 🚀

Meet PHIL WIZARD:
Phil Wizard was 13-years-old when he saw a breaking street show in downtown Vancouver. Mesmerized, he went home and immediately searched breaking on RUclips. The first video that came up was Lilou vs. Cloud in the final battle of the Red Bull BC One World Final 2009. He was blown away by what he saw and began his journey to become a b-boy.
From this inspiration, Phil would continue to harness his creativity & skills through training and local & international battle stages. Eventually, he would go on to compete on the Red Bull BC One World Final stage for the first time in 2019. He then went on to battle B-Boy Amir in the final battle of the Red Bull BC One World Final 2021.
With battle titles and plenty of achievements already under his belt, Phil believes that all of his accomplishments come down to simply being consistent. This drive & love for the art of breaking also earned him a place as one of the newest members of the Red Bull BC One All Stars.

I'm black from Chicago I'm also attendee of Chicago's largest puffy TV in in the 80s I used to pop lock I love the fact that these guys said b-boys we have our own culture not subculture subculture turn to the D boys they're still doing the art and I'm proud of them

They haven’t even thrown out all of their moves. On top of that, neither one of them threw a bullshit round. They went for it from start to finish. That’s so raw and goes so damn hard

Hong 10 is probably the greatest bboy alive at this point. Phil is on his way to becoming one of the greats as well! Of all the newer bboys on the scene, he definately stands out in my mind

This is why Hong 10 is my favorite all time Bboy. Too much cardio, too many moves. He doesn't age, and he is still evolving. For example 16:27 Hong 10 always used to do Flare to shoulder freeze to frontflip, now he evolves again with a completely new transition. Just too good, I hope to see him one more time at RBBC1!
And for Phil Wizard, his cardio is so good he's gonna cake every three or five rounder he's in for sure

Hong 10 comes from the same generation as myself, a generation of breakers that didn't care how many rounds you threw down on, its all about the heart and the love for Break'N. As long as you keep up your love for the dance\culture, condition properly and train hard it will stay with you till old age. I'm 36 this year , started age 5 and will never stop Break'N

Phil Wizard is one of the hottest b-boys in recent years who is young and talented, so he showed a great performance as expected, and Hong 10 showed great stamina and his own unique skills and signature even though he was close to 40 years old. Two great b-boys deserve applause.
I would also like to thank Red Bull BC One for allowing me to watch such a great battle.

Excellent! Heard about this from Ronnie & Kid David on the livestream of the World Final. Really nice concept, really well put together too. Phil Wizard has won Undisputed though, he is by no means an "up and comer" LMAO but you could say he's a newer generation sure. He did a great job.
