It's not hard, but it takes a teacher to get you started. The Blue Point is likely what you were offered on the ship. They're fairly dependable for first time tryers that are expecting seafood and a quantity for the price. What you just showed in this vlog is that size doesn't matter ;-) but quality does. During the lockdown, we started supporting these small oyster farm families and have never regretted it. I get 50 at a time and have a few parties over the next 5 days. So yummy and so worth it. When you love them without any sauce...that's why. Also, try soy/ ginger/ wasabi as a sauce for them, kinda like sushi. The sweetness of the oyster carries thru so well. I love this about your family and now your friends. Next convert, Crista and Casey ❤

Always check your oysters -I went to a restaurant in Maine on the ocean -the oysters -we were served had tiny half-inch white worms that were moving -unfortunately, we noticed that -after we ate the oysters -in the liquid on our dishes, that was the last time I ever ate an oyster😂
