Sometimes the Guru puts too much emphasis on Ishvara. Remember, Ishvara is jaggat. In other words, "none of our concern." You are only and always Brahma, and nothing else. Sat Chit Ananda. Do not cling to personalities, even the biggest one. Ishvara may be the biggest personality, but all personalities are jagat, regardless of size.

Romantic love and Bhakti being similar, could it not mean “unconditional love “ ?

What is the little prayer that Swami Tadatmananda starts each session with?

      • Om, may He protect us both (teacher and student).
      • May He nourish us both.
      • May we work together with energy and vigor.
      • May our learning be brilliant and effective.
      • May we not hate or quarrel with each other.
      • Om, peace, peace, peace.
