All I got to say is I LOVE all the gear by SW Motech! Perfect gear. I love LOVE My city tank bag. Fits PERFECT on my BMW F800ST with the bracket for the quick connect. My bike doesn’t have a gas tank like some. So SW motech sold me this bracket that screws into my plastics and gives me that quick connect that usually goes on peoples gas hole. I have always been bummed that I am not able to use the attachment for the gas tank. But now it’s not a problem. Perfect fit and looks awesome. Thank You SW Motech DOING IT RIGHT. Very grateful!
I realize this is a bit dated but bags are bags. Love Sw-Motech, I have fitted their engine guards and skid-plate to my 2019 Suzuki V-Strom 650 from day one. In Canada FortNine has almost their complete line-up. Great stuff!
One thing that annoys/puzzles me about companies that manufacture luggage for motorcycles is that they aren't waterproof. I've got a large BMW tail bag and it relies on an inner bag to keep things dry just like this stuff you reviewed. And they cost a fortune! I've discovered another manufacturer that actually makes waterproof bags from a guy on here that has a Bonneville channel. Have a look at lomo.co.uk and search for motorcycle dry bags. The most expensive is under £50 and guaranteed waterproof.
I'll take a look. They also do Dry bags which are 100% waterproof like you say, but as these are cordora textile bags, so having a 100% waterproof outa shell wouldn't be possible. I've used these bags for years and have never had a problem with them while using the inner dry bag. I've done extremely wet ridding with them, and not once has anything inside been wet. Do bare in mind that the inner dry bag are fixed into position inside the bag, so apart from the draw cord at the top, you don't notice it. I find these bags a lot more stylish than the dry bags you speak off, but that's just my personal preference. Thanks for the sending me the link and taking the time to comment👍
You should pan out farther to give a better representation of how big it looks like on the bike. Your too close most of the time. Also, you should show how they mount. Your audio is extremely light when you went outside. Inside the volume was good, but you got the echo from being in a room that doesn't absorb sound and bounces off all the walls, floor, hard objects.
I have the alurack on my FZ-10. I bought the daypack tank bag with the evo ring for the rear rack. I really like it but just wish it was larger. I wish they made the tail bags with evo rings. The ring is so simple and clean compared to all the straps of these conventional tail bags. It’s also very secure.
The only issue I have is security. If you ride to and from home/hotels they are a good lightweight option. We went to pamplona during the bull running and left my throw over saddle bags on my XR. Nothing was taken but I was a bit worried.
Yeah there is that, you just have to be careful with what you pack and where. I normally have this gear on just to get to where I'm going on tour, then it all stays in the hotel, but to be honest I've never had a problem I Europe, it's all fairly bike orientated with friendly people where crime is very low.
Oh Yeah! My brother in law left his iPhone on charge at the shaver point on a camp site in St Jean pied de port. We went out for a meal, it was still there when we got back. Don't think we would have seen it again if we had done that over here! When camping I like having locking panniers, but, like I said, perfect if you take them inside at the end of the ride
Yeah it depends on where you are! I mean I've left my keys in the bike over night a few times In Europe, and was still there lol. The UK is a whole different story
I wouldn't recommend the cargo for your bike, with the thin back end and the high exhausts, you might have issues with it melting the bag. Have you look at the legend gear from SWMOTECH? I would say the looks are better befitting for you bike.
Looking at doing a 5-7 day trip over to Europe next year, staying in B&B, AirBnB, what size bage you recommend? I was thinking or come to the conclusion something around the size of the 50l tail bag?
I have something very similar to the 50l version bud sold under the Swedish brand "Jofama". It may be a cheep copy, but I find it very practical and on my latest trip I removed my topbox to replace it with this soft bag. One complaint however: It is absolutely not waterproof. Do you know if the SW-Motech ones are waterproof? (Sorry if this was mentioned).
I've used these for years and the rain has never managed to penetrate the outer shell. Inside is another 100% waterproof membrane so nothing ever gets wet.
Can you tell me the dimensions of the opening of the 24-36 L (Rear Bag). I need to be able to throw my medical closing clip board in the bag without having to manipulate it sideways to get it in every time, like a lot of tail bag as with plenty of room but have smaller openings.
While the camera work can be improved, i loved the comparison.... so great that you had all the models in ascending order, im gonna go for the big boy Speedpack :D Is hopefully gonna fit great on my 2020 Africa Twin Adv. Sports. Do you know by any chance if the pannier racks of the speedpack evo fit if you have grabhandles on the bike (like on most adv bikes)?
For sure! I've used it with panniers, just depends on how high the panniers sit on your bike. If the sit a tad higher, just means you shouldn't fill the pannier pockets on the cargo bag.
Que tal!!! Disculpa la molestia, necesito saber que modelo de Rack o número de serie si es que lo tenes, el que montaste en el video, ya que quiero adaptarlo a mi motocicleta. El montaje desde el interior del colín trasero es muy atractivo. Muchas gracias!!!
I have a Jetpack, and love it. Dual function plus an aesthetically pleasing shape for my Hyperstrada. Do you reckon its possible to put a Speedpack or Racepack on the pillion seat combo with the Cargobag on the rear rack? On a Multistrada. Thanks, nice video.
Thanks for putting up this video, it's pretty much sold me on getting a Cargo bag for my 250 Ninja. Do you think it would be possible to wear a backpack with the Cargo bag strapped to the passenger seat or would it be too big?
Yes you could possibly still wear a back pack, I suppose it depends on how full you pack each bag. I love using the cargo bag as it's a great back rest on longer rides. If you mount it as far back as you can, you may still be able to wear your backpack.
It's coming soon! Will try and make it the next vid, been out a couple times this weekend but didn't film, just wanted to enjoy the bike. It's been really busy with all these product review videos, but they are nearly all done now.
Oh dam! Lol it the GT was released just after I bought the XR, but as I was told by another owner in Italy last year....if you test ride you'll buy It! And he was bang on lol
I've seen a few leaked pictures of the GT for next year but with no paint, didn't look as beasty. Yeah the XR is definitely the better bike for 2 up, the GT is much smaller, but a lot more fun!
The cargobag looks mint. Definitely my kind of bag. Are there hard panels inside the bag to keep the shape when the bag is not full? GT looking very porno mate ;-)

Intro too long. Way to many close ups. I want to see with the bike, for reference. Otherwise, good vid.
Used the cargo bag for a few years now. Excellent bit of kit. Can't fault it. 😃

@@thelikeablerider8800 100% you want sexy, dry liner. You want a ugly sack go dry bag. You can't have both.
Nice kit , I like the idea of the tail bag with under stung saddle bags without getting to low to the rear wheel.
Thanks Great video
Cheers Mark

I need a tail bag that folds up when near empty yet can expand to carry a 30 pk.
I am very happy with the Wolf Peak (IIRC) tali bag. Season hasn't begun, for me. It's sunny but 30 Deg in Upstate New York.
Winter still hasn't quite left us yet, but the next couple weeks are looking promising

Do you think the cargo is suitable for a street scrambler 900 ? and your opinion on other options ? Thanks excellent video 👍
I wouldn't recommend the cargo for your bike, with the thin back end and the high exhausts, you might have issues with it melting the bag. Have you look at the legend gear from SWMOTECH? I would say the looks are better befitting for you bike.

That's personally the size I'd go for, but everyone packs different. I rather take maybe a bit too much, than too little👍😜
I have something very similar to the 50l version bud sold under the Swedish brand "Jofama". It may be a cheep copy, but I find it very practical and on my latest trip I removed my topbox to replace it with this soft bag.

Good review, where is the 700 series?

It's 30x25cm
Nice video thanks
You're welcome James
Have you thought about selling time share ? Nice video and very informative thanks.

Do you know by any chance if the pannier racks of the speedpack evo fit if you have grabhandles on the bike (like on most adv bikes)?
Sorry Jeremy I can't say for sure if it will fit! I'd advise a quick email to SWMOTECH before pulling the trigger, to avoid any unwanted hassle👍
Hi. Did this fit. I've just bought the big one myself and I'm fingers crossed
Impresionante la velocidad y la precisión con la que fui asesorado. Muchísimas gracias!!!
where can these be purchased
Link to their website is in the description👍😜
Btw, i wonder ... Can i use the cargobag when i use the Blaze saddelbags?
Hmm...
For sure! I've used it with panniers, just depends on how high the panniers sit on your bike. If the sit a tad higher, just means you shouldn't fill the pannier pockets on the cargo bag.

Yeah if you have a rear rack you should be okay, I have the same setup when I go touring.

When’s the GT video coming? Not actually shown it off yet lover

Good work mate, don’t change my mind as I was close to getting the KTM but went XR
Oh dam! Lol it the GT was released just after I bought the XR, but as I was told by another owner in Italy last year....if you test ride you'll buy It! And he was bang on lol
It was awesome but XR more room for Mrs and better build quality I think, next year the new headlights on the GT will look better I recon
I've seen a few leaked pictures of the GT for next year but with no paint, didn't look as beasty. Yeah the XR is definitely the better bike for 2 up, the GT is much smaller, but a lot more fun!

No m8 when it's empty it doesn't keep it shape, the only rigid ones are the two largest bags.
Prices?

Best place to order online in Canada?
Thats a good question, but I don't know what suppliers you have over in Canada
Awesome video production but like all these videos the script has too much bullshit and not enough of what the veiwer needs to know .
Video shot too close. Need to shoot further back to get a better view on the bike. Disappointing video.
