The original in Disneyland brings back all the nostalgia, but the floats in Tokyo are updated, more polished, and have better presentation. I enjoy both but there is no denying how beautiful the floats are here.
I went there a week ago. there were some new froats added. this is the best parade around the world. thanks to the fact that Tokyo disneyland is not owned by Walt Disney but Oriental Land (japanese company), everything is done well in TDL😂
Each float was so pretty and bright, beautiful, and amazing! It reminded me a lot of Paint the Night! Just with the Electrical Parade music. My favorite floats were the Blue Fairy opening float, Cheshire Cat with Alice. And the Jolly Roger ship with Peter Pan and Captain Hook! Such a great and well done float⭐ Another great one was the Nemo float! I wish they would bring a night time parade back to Anaheim Disneyland lie this. And the Geenie float was so amazing too! Please keep this parade Disney 😃
Paint the Night is my favorite! But this parade is definitely breathtaking. OG Disneyland needs to receive more love and upgrades. The other parks always get better stuff.
The Electrical Parade was always a favorite growing up and going to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. It was magical back then and this is so, so much more Magical in Tokyo 💜👍. Thanks
Wow, I was expecting this to be better than the American versions, but with every float, it just got better and better. I hope the American parks upgrade their electrical parades because this is absolutely stunning. They utilized so many opportunities to play with light that Disneyland and Disney World missed.
I love this!!! Best part is Pete and Elliott coming at the beginning, while here in the US, they come at the end. In Japan, Pete has pre-recorded lines, while here, he is a face character and he talks just like a real face character you can meet!!!! Still, nothing beats the original US version. (Edit 5/29/2020: Another difference I noticed for the US versions: In Disneyland, the former one at Disneyland Paris and the former one at DCA, Pete says the same dialogue set to everyone, while in the Magic Kingdom, the actor for Pete can say anything he wants to! For Japan, Sean Marshall did all of Pete’s lines. He also did that for the CD of the Disneyland version of the parade. You learn something new everyday!)
Japan is such an advanced country that, even Disney's in Japan is aheard of the rest of the world. I don't remember seeing nothing exactly like this in the USA.

I’d like to see an updated/upgraded Main Street Electrical Parade similar to this one at Tokyo Disneyland but with newer movies represented like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Frozen, Moana, Zootopia, and other movies with the costumes for the characters from those movies decked out in sparkling lights!
While I feel like the original MSEP in Disneyland is the best, the one in Tokyo is something that the MSEP in the US could learn from and try to add more floats or more interesting lights if they decide to bring it back since they hinted at making an announcement with MSEP at D23

I've seen the parade in actual few years ago and it's awesome. I love the float that follows Cinderella and the prince. The one with three girls dancing waltz with escorts wearing ball gowns that lights up. I think they can make a dress for Aurora that changes color through lights.. that will be great.

Because it's an international park. Also, having been to TDL myself many times, it is very clear that the Japanese do not only want to capture the Disney spirit, but also capture the american culture behind it. Of all the Disney parks I have been to, TDL has been one of the less "localized" ones.
