This relationship they have developed has been nothing but win/win from the start. They seem to be getting a lot better at interacting with the others at much more common intervals. Moona has also been getting a faster growth rate in her channel and from what I've seen it's in part due to these clips of her interacting with Pekora. To be honest I subscribed to Moona because of these clips and I am enjoying watching some of her streams. These clips just make me happy in general.
Too bad MOONA gonna be on hiatus due to family problems and the health of his father

im guessing since the other members are japanese realizing the culture of 'honne and tatemae', pekora cant really be asking for help every so often, being a kouhai, and even being a senpai, its typical in japanese working environment.
playing pranks and fooling around is different from working on a project together.
meanwhile non-japanese have no qualms with asking favors and giving in return, making pekora having no issues with asking moona to do stuff, and moona shows interest in learning the things pekora do, considering pekora is the most knowledgable minecrafter in hololive.
@@azraieruslim Moona being from overseas and outside that cultural framework surely helps, especially since social rules are doubly as scary for a shy person. It can be circumvented somewhat through thinking it more in the sense of playing equally together, no matter whose project the whatever they're doing is. Even then, the problem is that she is limited to ask by her fear of rejection, which she has brought up multiple times.
But Moona got through, and that really shows.

It's so funny seeing when people don't realize when they're saying a loanword
But a lot of Japanese loanwords are just wrong if you just use them in english.
For example "tension" has a completely different meaning in japanese as in english. Also "pasokon" means computer and supposedly comes from english (personal computer), but nobody would understand if you just use it as is.

Interesting to hear this, though, this makes Japanese the second language I've come across that has their own word for computer, with the only other one I know of being French specifically because France has some kind of official agency with the express purpose to keep French clean and low on loanwords that just straight up invents words, including "ordinateur" for computer.

I don't mean that it's not effective for you, i'm sorry if you're offended. But imo, for a lot of non-native speaker it's actually not. Even the tutor/teacher here in Indonesia (yes, I'm an Indonesian) don't actually know the context from much of their conversations.
