    This place is very peaceful, and with the ocean, I felt the time flow very slowly.
    It is a very nice place.
    Visiting this place is one of my most cherished memories.
    Thank you for the wonderful video.

    Thanks for the video. I think Ine sea town is a bit overrated with the marketing photos I see online. Your video is more realistic 👍🏼

    Hello. Thanks for this video! I am travelling to Kyoto with my 72 yo mum in April next year and I wonder if we can do this in one day or since we are getting the JR Kansai Wide Area Pass with 2 day Amano/Ine Sightseeing Pass as add-on, it would be more advisable for us to just come back the ff day. She uses a cane and therefore cannot rush. :( We have already booked our hotel in Kyoto...
    Appreciate any advise you can share.

    I'm going to Amanohashidate in about a month! And I'm obsessed with the restaurant you visited at @4:33 - where is that? above the view point?

    • @stevenistan
      @stevenistan  11 месяцев назад

      It's at a restaurant (there's only one) in Amanohashidate Kasamatsu Park.

    Is it feasible to go these 2 places as day trip from Kyoto?
    Can provide your itinerary? I am planning to visit these 2 places as day trip from Kyoto.
    What I mean is the bus schedule from Kyoto to Amanohashidate and from Amanohashidate to Ine.
    Really beautiful video you made.
    Thank you

      yes it is, trains leave Kyoto as early as 730 and 830am and can arrive by 930 or 1030am, you can spend 3 hours at Amanohashidate and then go to Funaya(or reverse, can go Funaya first and then Amanohashidate) and catch the bus back to Amanohashidate, get something to eat and then wait for the 1815 or 1919 hashidate trains directly back to Kyoto. Can also take a morning bus from Kyoto and then Depart back in the evening, But in my experience The trains are easier to get a seat and you have buses and taxis you can catch from Amanohashidate Station. You only need 2 hours max at Funaya and 3 to 4 hours at Amanohashidate, you can take the boat across if you don't want to walk the full land bridge, you can walk one way and take the boat back.

    Nice video! How long is the chair lift? Is the chair lift very high or low? Is ot scary for those with height phobia? Thank you

    • @stevenistan
      @stevenistan  Год назад +2

      The chairlift is about a 10 minute ride, and although there is no seatbelt, there is safety netting very close by. For those with height phobia, you may still take the cable car instead which is just as scenic.

      I stayed at Auberge Amanohashidate just because it was a good buget housing nearby. There might be better places for longer stays.

      I'm sorry I'm not sure, but if so, there is always the cable car which is just as nice!

    • @stevenistan
      @stevenistan  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately, the JR pass does not cover the Tankai bus, but there is the JR Hashidate which runs infrequently, but can also get you to Amanohashidate.
