So, it's been a while since emblems were added and I'm in this camp. I like the emblem system but seeing my friends who don't have the builds because they don't have specific emblems kinda sucks. And I can't say play without the emblems cause they don't believe that's a thing you can do now. I just hope they find a way to balance this system in the future whether it be nerfing PKMN or the emblems.
I got to masters without emblems. They are useful but they don't prevent you from playing well. They don't carry a bad player and will only slightly edge equal players
Whats funny is that if your friends think Emblems are that important, then they probably arent even good enough players to see the minor differences. I tried all the popular builds and the only one that is noticeable is CDR Cram, and CDR Delphox at level 13+. But your friends might not be getting to level 13 in matches anyway, and they probably dont play Cram.

Actually in my experience you just gotta carry hard enough in at least 80% of cases people will drop their ego at some point and follow your decisions. YOu just gotta be able to generate AWE in your teammates with your impact. If you cant, I dont really understand why you dont understand that people dont follow you. They dont know you, game just started, if you dont KO within the first minute, or dunk 4 scores, why should they remember you?

After taking their second base on bottom, I got bodied by 4 enemies just to see my four teammates got first taken down and lost rotom against a friggin Sylveon. Even stole zapatos but got killed after and team still didn’t deliver.
I just started using Gengar again with the emblem build and I’ve been dealing over 100K every game and I haven’t even been using hex. Needless to say Gengar is a ton of fun rn
Yeah i'm actually really glad that the emblems help make the hex build more viable since the worst thing that can happen as gengar is missing one of your moves, so having that shorter cooldown feels soooo much better. and then gengar is still high-skill enough that players of all skill levels will be able to find success with him but not everyone will be able to dominate every game with him.
Agree about the high skill u need to use gengar. Everyone who is just annoyed with gengar should try it and see how difficult it is to use rather than complaining.

This video got me to Master on a 10 game win streak. I did swap amp for another pair of glasses but literally the only thing that slowed me down was blissey.
I like the emblems but for an inexperienced player in terms of that stuff it’s hard to wrap my head around it sometimes LOL. My current loadouts don’t concentrate on a specific effect but have 2-3 level 1 effects but in turn have slightly higher stats in 2-3 areas (e.g HP + SP. Atk or Atk + Mov. Spd).
What items are good on special attackers right now? I'm working on getting sp atk specs, choice specs, and wise glasses up but are the other two you're using here only good on gengar?
I mean... it varies. Energy Amp works on gengar for the cool down and for fat phantom ambushes/unite boosted dps. Shell bell is mostly good on gengar and tanky special attackers/if you need cool down. Build diversity isn't as high for special attackers because we have less items and less effects
Hes good but I just started playing as snorlax and I love having to squish gengar. I think people are sleeping on snorlax. I'm still trying to find a good set of emblems for snorlax.
He's great, Block is so hilarious. Sandwiching enemies between Block and a wall, moving Cramorant/Lucario/Decidueye unites away from the team, moving A9 out of her Aurora Veil, Glaceon out of her unite move snow zone, completely shutting off an ulting Machamp -- these are some of my favourite things. Snorlax also comfortably endures around 90k damage with great healing. He's a great defender. Not as broken as Trevenant, not as offensive as Blastoise/Scaldbro, but still great.

I feel like part of the reason gengar is getting so much popularity at the moment is because this meta also favors a lot of CDR spamming images that are very easy to chain KOs with dream eater shadow ball combos. And because its solo q, games are full of teams with 3+ attackers on both sides because why not so gengar players are eating good this season.
Gengar might be worth buying but all in all, if a Pokémon is confirmed to be coming, you should save up for them. But not necessarily buy them then and there. Try them in offline mode, and whichever one you like more, buy it.

Regarding stacks, I really feel they need to axe them. It is just the most annoying thing ever the laning fase these days. Also there is no downside of stacks, on League of Legends the stacking items would reduce number os stacks on kills, I feel there needs to be some sort of penalty for stacking items.

I main speedsters but this is honestly why I hate gengar now more than ever. He's the only one who can have non-existent cooldowns and it's just unfair when combined with dream stun or hex invincibility frames with no way for the opponents to avoid if the gengar is skilled.

Hex is so easy. Just have to aim Sludge Bomb then spam the Hex button.
With Dream Eater, you actually have to aim so much.

I just played a game with a Gengar and I was Blissey, they had 40 KOs, and 188k damage. A good Gengar is absolutely insane.

energy amp is good on a lot of them, particularly when you're running black emblems and especially for those who have fast unites already.

Shadow Ball/Dream Eater does too much damage, even to All Rounders, Supports and Defenders. The character is overtuned

Well, before the emblems, allrounders and attackers with attack dominated the game, stacking, for example, so its just fit for sp attackers to shine.

Ranged attackers do well. I main sylveon and espeon and those 2 don't give me many problems
