The biggest issue I had with the decision was it being unanimous. Not one judge thought Loma won which is the real head scratcher. Teddy said it best, “Sometimes beating the judges is harder than beating the fighter in front of you.” It’s probably my favorite Teddy quote.
This statement is so dumb? Your mad the judges agreed on who won? I feel Loma won for sure but thinking a split decision is a good thing in anyway shows a lack of understanding of whats really going. The winner should win and be picked to win by people appointed to appoint the winners.
Think about it. The younger, hungrier, bigger, taller, talented up/coming undisputed lightweight champion who on the night of the fight weighed 15-20lbs heavier barely escaped with a controversial close decision (that most felt he lost) to a much smaller, older fighter in Lomachenko! I think that’s impressive on Loma…..
Of course. Facts! I’m a Devin Haney fan/supporter. However, I’m am also a big fan of Loma as well. I was pulling for Devin; however, it was extremely hard for me to root against Loma. He’s inspirational athlete. I’ve studied his fight style closely for years. Even at the age of 35, Loma is still a joy to watch. He’s a fantastic fighter. One of the all-time greats..💯
It wasn’t the worst decision we’ve ever seen in boxing, but I saw Loma taking the decision. Haney only had good body shots, one at a time. Not enough to beat combinations and getting rocked a few times.
@@myththelegend1036 definitely not washed. Loma never got shook whereas Haney did. You can debate this round or that, fair enough. But nobody got washed
loma should've won it's much harder to hit someone in the head than the body. if you think otherwise go pick up boxing for a few months and spar, you'd see.
Everything that was said I felt was true. Loma stated that he backed off in the last round because he felt he didn’t need to win it. I don’t generally judge fights point by point. I generally look at how well a fighter can accomplish his strategy while denying the opponent’s will. Once I saw what happened in the 10th and 11th where Loma was hitting Haney at will to me that was definite. Loma also hurt Haney at one point which Haney was never able to do.
That is the dumbest shit ive ever heard, Loma backed off? That's bullshit, he shouldve taken Haney out, or at least knocked Haney down, he didnt, he lost a clost fight
You just admitted you couldnt have scored the fight accurately. You said you don’t judge it round by round. I think Loma won the fight, but he lost the boxing match. Boxing is scored round by round.
@@Ghragle- Loma lost both, i watched the fight at .25 speed and those early rounds for Loma are boring as fuck, he didnt do hardly anything until round 10, some of the early rounds were close but the 1 consistent punch the whole fight was Haney to Lomas body, the announcers all had Haney up, compubox had Haney up also, i dont get how anyone can say it was stolen wtf fight did they watch? They are the loma fanboys saying that
@@vicvega3614 thank you... he was maybe hitting Haney twice in a 8 punch flurry.. everytime he threw a flurry the crowd went wild.. and I said he's missing!🤣🤣🤣
Strange for Teddy to focus on so much outside the actual details of the fight. The cleaner more accurate work was delivered by Lomachenko. The only two clear rounds won by either fighter were 10&11 in which Lomachenko was dominant. 12th was much like the others but probably Haney’s. Lomachenko should feel very hard done to!
@@mrreeree3633 you are correct of course. However, the overall scoring of the round does take in to account the impact of the shots. Loma, did not look troubled in the way Haney, towards the end of the fight looked like he was getting a bit of a boxing lesson.
What you’re not taking into account is those close rounds that look pretty even are going to someone that’s calculating the accuracy. Those close rounds go to Haney. Probably because he’s the one wearing the title.
Any time I see a younger, bigger, and stronger fighter I expect him to dominate. On the other hand, when I see an older and smaller fighter use skills, heart, and intelligence to compete with a younger, stronger and bigger fighter, I know that he is the better of the two. Plus, the fans are always right and they booed the decision...
That crowd was bias as hell for Loma to win before the fight started. The telacast also. Plus 80% of the crowd was casuals and didnt know what they were watching. All they seen was Loma being aggressive but he only landed 20% of his punches. Lots of his shots missed. Haney was more tacticle and accurate with 29% of his punches landing.
Yo you should hear Paulie's take on the fight, he broke it down how you expect but with emotions and never fails to take shots at the fans he considers d riders 😂 but these guys know their shit and the way they break it down is like music to your ears
@@Cloud-9_C9 I'm a big fan of Paulie as well. I really like hearing him announce a fight. He might even be better at that than he was as a fighter and he was a good fighter.
i just want to show my appreciation for teddy's passion and poetic approach to talking about boxing. this is the sport of the heart...teddy really shows that.
Haney won 8 to 4. To many power body shots. I only saw Loma clearly win one round in 11. You could make a case for 10 but it was close. Haney did a great job with the body shots and unfortunately most of the world was against Haney and his own country. It’s sad when he’s at home. I’ll never pull for Loma again after what I’ve heard. I hope Loma doesn’t win again unless he earns it. Show me some other rounds Loma won. Haney won the first 9.
@14:01 I thought that after the 10th and 11th round Loma had figured out Haney and would continue in the 12th, but he didn't. Perhaps the body shots took away his legs?
@@revskull no, I thought that Loma lost the fight because he didn't "clearly" win enough rounds. Although Loma generated good momentum from rounds 10 and especially 11, it was the early rounds and the last round that Loma didn't do enough, imo. That said, a few of those early rounds were extremely close, and could have been judged either way. Loma, should have known that, and perhaps should have KOd him, taking the decision out of 3 American judges hands.
Was a great fight. A close fight. Haney was in trouble a few times. Loma was never in trouble. The Judges need firing. Close, but Loma won that fight in my opinion.
Mr. Atlas as a fight fan I want an immediate rematch. Haney won by a razor thin margin. That fight was so good that a rematch would be spectacular. Split the purse 50/50. Hold the fight in Madison Square Garden, Dubai, London, or Australia. No need to argue or debate. In the words of the great Mills Lane "Lets Get It On". Let's go!
I'd love to see the rematch right away. But Loma scared Haney and even more the fight's reaction from fans scared his promoter. But money talks and it would be huge. I won't watch Haney again if he doesn't rematch Loma next.
@@dustinalbers8160 Loma has said No rematch but a 50/50 purse split and holding the fight in London, Dubai, Australia or Madison Square Garden may entice him to take the rematch fight. The money for the rematch will be bigger than for the first fight. That was a very good fight and I will pay to see the rematch for sure.
I thought Loma won the fight watching it then and after watching it again this afternoon. Loma was on the front foot all night, Loma was the ring General controlling Haney. The rounds Loma won he dominated. Haney won rounds and it was razor thin. Loma won the compubox numbers. Loma landed many more punches overall, I think 25 more. Loma got robbed. Loma looked like he was at least 2 weight classes smaller and still controlled the fight. Haney was holding on most of the fight.
I think it is questionable weather Haney won the 12th. it could've been judged either way, just because it wasn't a clear win for Loma like the 11th. does not mean he lost the 12th. but I agree that if the 12th was another round like the 11th. it would've been hard not to give Loma the fight. what I don't understand is why more people aren't talking about Haney's elbows in Loma's face. finally there are images that are starting to be posted of Haney holding Loma's arm so he can't use it. and Haney's has his elbow right up against Loma's face. every time things got to close for Haney he put his elbows in Loma's face. which is probably why Loma had the abrasions on his face after the fight. Personally I don't think Haney won all the early rounds. and he definitely lost allot of the later rounds. it could've easily of been a 7 to 5 fight in favor of Loma. depending on how. you looked at things. which is how many of the top boxers in the audience had the fight. and how Max Kellerman had the fight. and I don't really understand why the judges are three Americans. it just doesn't seem right. and the one judge that scored the fight 116 to 112 should be banned from judging another fight. and his bank account records should be checked, and this stuff always seems to happen in Floyds Vegas. which unfortunately is where the Spence vs Crawford fight is going to be.
I didn't see nothing Haney did on the 12 rd to win the round,if anything the round was a draw, Haney didn't hurt Lomo wirh rose weak shots at all, I gave the fight to Lomo, Haney was out of wind, barely holdingn on
Loma won that fight against Haney, there are so many videos out there and so many comments when reading through where 80 percent say Loma won. Those damn robberies in boxing.
I wonder why people keep making an issue of Loma starting later? He understands his strengths and limitations as a fighter. He is the smaller guy, it’s hard for a smaller guy to go toe to toe with naturally bigger guys when they are still fresh. As a smaller guy you need to figure out the bigger guy & break them down systematically. Even Manny PacMan usually came on stronger at the back end of the fight when facing bigger opponents.
The only problem with that is the fight is judged round by round. The judge turns in his card after each round. In a 12 round fight, if you let your opponent bag 7 rounds (it could be rounds 1-7), you can't win unless you knock him out. KO or TKO. You can't get 70 pionts in 5 rounds.
@@abjr1800 it’s actually simple you give up important rounds and try to turn it on later you have to capitalize especially in the 12th he took his foot off the gas after 10 and 11
It's his inactivity in those early rounds, he went a whole minute in the 1st round before he threw his first jab. In the teo fight I personally scored alot of those rounds for teo just from touching his guard ,pushing him back ect and Loma having no answer for it
Not a robbery but....Haney didn't win that fight, Loma in complete control of Haney and almost stopped him late. A far better fighter than Haney, a small guy bashing a big guy, Loma looked not only quicker but also a bigger puncher than Haney. Haney is still a very good fighter though, but Loma is exceptional. And at 35 yrs of age... staggering!
@@ajvindiesel8517Loma definitely lost this fight bro. If you go back and watch and look at how long he remains inactive during a rd you’ll see he lost. Doesn’t matter what he was doing you can’t take that long to throw a punch. My coach used to tell me even if it’s not a big punch you have to remain active throughout the rd. Even if you look at the punch stats and you give loma a W for every rd he had more landed and better accuracy he would still come up short.
@@dukea9053 you've completely contradicted yourself, inactive? That why he thrown and landed significantly more? It was laughable at the end, he was schooled and too scared to fight, he walked down that tunnel bemused and befuddled by what had just happened to him.

If you go back and watch and count how long it takes loma to throw a punch after Haney vs Haney throwing a punch after loma you’ll see what I’m talking about.
Stop... Lomachenko beat Haney, he exposed him and any who know boxing know Haney got outboxed, outquicked, out jabbed, out power punched .... Yet, Haney gets decision, lmao..
This is really, really good analysis by Teddy. This is prob my favorite-- talking about the boxing gods even! He told a story and narrated all the drama that both fighters brought to the ring.
Personally, I think Loma got robbed. I think Loma won 7-5 or even 8-4. I think the fight should have, at least, been a draw for the sake of "$" generation. Thousands of people booed Haney as he left the fight. With all those that came to back Loma, even still, Loma won. This reminds me of when Fury fought Wilder the first time and getting a draw.... Loma won pure and simple.
As afro americans say.... you are wrong you are a casual, watch without commentators in slow motion, turn the tv sideways and put the room temperature at 23 degrees and you will see that Haney CLEARLY won, because we afro americans we are the best, the whole world is wrong only we are right. The world is against us.... pathetic. ofcourse Lomachenko clearly won... the whole world saw it except Afro americans.
The best part was when Shakur made it to the ring and then Haney just left. Shakur going to school that boy. Tank would sleep him though. I’d pick Tank to sleep him even with both hands broken lol
As much as I want to win loma the fight is being score by rounds not the one that dominated 2 rounds. Loma obviously dominated the later rounds but those score are 10-9 not 10-8 and thats how boxing is being scored regardless i had haney winning 115-113
Hey Teddy, did you go back and watch the fight? I asked because it seems most of the professional pundit have said the fight was way closer than they thought it was live.
He let up the 11th round??? What were you watching teddy? Loma dominated the 11th round! I saw complete and utter boxing dominance from Loma that 11th round. Not even close.
Even if loma won the 12th which was close its still a majority draw on the score cards and thats the crazy part so teddy and alot of other people saying if loma would of won the 12 he would of won thats just not the case.. it would of been a bigger robbery then it is because the score cards would of been 114-114. 114-114 115-113 haney.a majority draw so even if u agree that he lost the 12th it wouldn't of won him the fight even though most people feel he won the fight without winning the 12th..loma got robbed either way..i got loma winning rounds 1,2,3,7,8,9,10,11 with the 6th and 12th swing rounds no way haney won that fight you would have to give haney every close round because he didn't have more then 1 round where he won clear and the only people that would give him every close rounds are biased
If anyone goes back and watches the fight round by round it was clear that Haney won 8 rounds and Loma won 4 rounds. On a point by point analysis it is clearly Haney in 8 of the 12 rounds. I challenge anybody to go back and watch the fight and really score the bout clearly round by round.
I still think promotions have a big influence on results. People are clueless if they dont believe that. "Follow the money" isnt just a common quote with no meaning. The younger fighters with names need to be made and promoted. Unless its undisputable. "Never leave it in the hands of the judges" is not just a common quote with no meaning. I knew if Lomachenko didnt get a finish and didnt stay the general through all 12 that he wouldnt get the DC. I think Lomachenko won by the skin of his teeth. Judges apparently thought Hayney was decisive.
That was the best, deepest, most in depth break down anyone can ever imagine. Tesdy is passionate and honest about boxing. Nakes ne wish i can go back 30 yrs and start training with Teddy as my trainer and i would be the greatest
Loma was robbed! He beat Haney into the corner and controlled nearly every round of the fight. Haney got in a few weak, in-effective body shots, and somehow those punches counted, but the beating Haney got throughout the fight didn't? Even the announcers sounded more like "influancers" 🤣
We know what’s really happening with this fight ;) These low IQ idiots saying “B.. But I went back ands re-watched it ands have Dev winnin eight to foe!! Those body shots doe!!” 😂 These turds didn’t re-watch s**t!!! Lol! Loma landed the more effective cleaner shots. Loma 116-112

UuLoma won that fight and if you look at haney’s face it was still swollen two days later.
Are they giving these fights to the younger fighters to build them up? There have been quite a few controversial decisions lately that seem similar to this one.
Hmm!...2 to 3 rounds? And you chose Loma for unanimous decision? You do realize that Loma would have to K.O. / T.K.O the champ to become the NEW champ!🤔
Teddy said what I said. It was a very close fight but Haney won. If had been scored a draw or Loma by one round it would have been inside the margin of error! For people that said Loma won big they had their fanboy hats on and did not score round by round objectively. It also shows a flaw in the way all fights are scored. We don’t have a ten point must system. We have a two point must system. When is the last time you saw someone win a round 10-7? A big round is 10-8. A close round is 10-9. That’s it. A guy gets dropped multiple times in a round and judges score 10-8. The need to use more of the ten points or go to a 3 point must system. Just my 10 cents worth.
Well, Teddy never said Haney won. He talked a lot but never gave his winner. Ha talked about what both fighters did and to be honest it sounds like he can't pick a winner so it's a draw in his head.
Loma had the opportunity to fight Haney 3 years ago. He declined the fight. 😔 So we can never say, Haney waited until Loma was pass his prime. He asked for the fight and Loma declined in his prime.
What rubbish! Boxing is a business. Haney brought nothing to the table. What is the point of fighting an opponent if there is nothing to win but the fight itself?
@@henkbielderman4243 you’re right and Haney alone doesn’t bring in the money. It’s still true even now and he’s undisputed. Look at Taylor he’s also undisputed, and he can’t bring in a sold out arena just on his name. Taylor is fighting Teo next week in Madison Square Garden. I’m curious on the sales of this fight too. These guys are still young and raw. Tank brings in more fans including casual ones. They know they’re going to see a guy either get dropped or maybe just maybe the unbeaten guy himself finally hits an immovable wall. Some want to see you succeed and others to see you fail. Haney and Taylor aren’t those guys imo. They don’t care if they win or lose. That’s the problem with them. They’re not as marketable as other fighters in the world. Anyways, that’s me and to each their own. Haney beating Loma is no surprise. Him winning unanimously is the only issue I have with it. For all three to say Haney definitely win is a lie. @@blackblurable Great comment and on point! Haney is not a 'dangerous' fighter. He brings no sense of danger to the ring unlike GGG or Canelo. To be sure he is skilled but that alone is not enough to bring that frisson of excitement that viewers want at the big fights. As a lifelong boxing fan ( I am 70 years old) there are fights that I simply refuse to buy, especially when the result is a foregone conclusion a la Fury/ Chisora. I thought the last round was close but I in no way ever felt that Haney definitely won it. I had money on Haney and didn’t feel great about that round and I certainly didn’t think I won my bet when the fight was done
The missing narrative here isnt that Haney performed in some mythical 12th round, Loma thought he won and Haney was relieved. And this wasnt Teo in the 12th. Loma also landed more punches in the 12th. Anyway, its all moot. Now, either Haney runs it back and proves we are all wrong or Haney runs scared, leaving questions for the rest of his career.
Teddy You are biased. You always say how much you like Haney. SO you can't be honest about who won. Loma clearly won. This fight also defines you. You once called out the guy who beat Pacquiao and told him he did not win. But you can't do it now because of your bias. Disappointed.
It was a close fight! Haney won Simple! Loma rallied two strong rounds towards the later end but it still wasn’t enough to cause any damage to the champion Haney If the tables was turned and Loma was the undisputed Champion and Haney faught the same way Loma did and Loma fought the same way Haney did. You would still say Loma won. There definitely is a bias
Beyond everyone’s personal biases, or how they personally feel about Haney because of the push or deeper no one who really watched this fight on mute, and who can honestly push their personal biases aside can deny Haney the victory. His body shots were spot on and that is what made the difference in this fight, and as much or as hard as Lomo tried the accumulation of those body shots early on is what made Lomo easy up on the gas and threw the accuracy off on a lot of his shots I saw a clear and concise 8-4 victory for Haney, and I’m certain that the Commission did too after reviewing Lomo’s complaint.
t wash This whole 'watch the fight on mute' is BS. Not simply because if you listen to the fight on mute you will miss Haney say to his corner that Lomo had his number, on and around 9th. The ensuing 10th round was a display of how much he did have Haney's number who's head kept on getting snapped back all fight as the fact registered he never seen or had any answer to Lomo's well disguised, zero telegraphed left. With much success in this endeavor, Haney started a wane as his head started getting snapped back by Lomo's right-more registration of those unseen punches. We can be fair, Haney did well, and it was an elite level fight by both parties'. However, what Lomo did surpassed what Haney did in that ring. As an aside, Haney isn't rematching for all the tea in China, either. Nor will you want him too... @t wash I can tell YOU that facts are facts. And fact is, Haney said he was beat in the 9th, and since didn't win a clear round. @Rare Earth Element who looked more beat up after the fight? 😂 Haney was primarily working the body and still beat Loma up more in the face. And those body shots late in the fight were getting more and more effective. Ask any boxer they'll tell you , hit me in the face not the body.
I had Lomo, and it wasn't that close. The smaller man moved forward 8 of 12 rounds, put together combos, and his jab never stopped working. Haney literally walked into his jab all night and offered zero defense and rarely strung two punches together. I wish the experts would just say he didn't drop him, so he lost.
If Haney offered zero defense, then why is it that Loma only landed around 10 more punches while throwing 100 more? Why did they land nearly the same but Loma had lower accuracy if Haney had no defense? The math doesn’t even add up, it actually shows Haney had better defense than Loma.
@Kevin Herron jr Good observation, but even if you've earned that point, if you take another look at my comment, I've got you beat in terms of points 4 to 1. To Haney's credit, his body work looked good and was effective, but he never controlled the fight. Make that 5 to 1.
@@SkyHighCloudLow points? What are you talking about? All I did was call out the nonsense u typed about defense with fact and statistics. Loma was getting close but not doing any damage. Too many body shots go unnoticed and not given the credit as a head shot would. The right fighter won imo and I wanted Loma to win
The decision was BS. Loma won pretty easily, and he even won the 12th round because almost all of Haney's landed shots were non-scoring low blow fouls to the leg.

Teddy Atlas has always been pretty on point with his assessment on a match, the fact that Teddy sounds disappointed says plenty of who truly WON THIS FIGHT. Loma beat Haney in EVERY stat department! You didn't see Loma's head getting snapped back constantly like Haney's ! You didn't see Loma going to his corner begging for help from his daddy. Haney kept asking, What should do daddy he has me figured out, he knows exactly what I'm doing. All signs of an already defeated fighter. I agree with your analysis regarding Loma stepping off the gas on the 12th round, but you gonna make that observation than you also must say that even if he had finished strong the 12th, the judges would've still given the fight to Haney. As you said, 10th, 11th round decisions unacceptable. It wouldn't have made a difference in regards to the decision that night, only for himself.
The biggest issue I had with the decision was it being unanimous. Not one judge thought Loma won which is the real head scratcher. Teddy said it best, “Sometimes beating the judges is harder than beating the fighter in front of you.” It’s probably my favorite Teddy quote.
Was waiting for,..... "FOLLOW THE MONEY 💰"
Never came 😔
This statement is so dumb? Your mad the judges agreed on who won? I feel Loma won for sure but thinking a split decision is a good thing in anyway shows a lack of understanding of whats really going. The winner should win and be picked to win by people appointed to appoint the winners.

Think about it. The younger, hungrier, bigger, taller, talented up/coming undisputed lightweight champion who on the night of the fight weighed 15-20lbs heavier barely escaped with a controversial close decision (that most felt he lost) to a much smaller, older fighter in Lomachenko! Agreed. Ken is a class act.

There's nothing quite like a Teddy Atlas fight review 🥊
Strange for Teddy to focus on so much outside the actual details of the fight. The cleaner more accurate work was delivered by Lomachenko. The only two clear rounds won by either fighter were 10&11 in which Lomachenko was dominant. 12th was much like the others but probably Haney’s. Lomachenko should feel very hard done to!
I agree but the body shots from haney were very clean also
@@mrreeree3633 you are correct of course.

Starting later cost ya points if your not able to knock opponent out
The only problem with that is the fight is judged round by round.

Loma himself admitted he gave away/lost the 12th round in the post fight presser
@@dukington101 says a lot when he gave away a round and still won that bitch. Just because he said he gave it a way don’t mean you give it to Haney 🤡
This guy is a D rider. Stop giving Loma shit he didn’t earn.
Hold up Loma said himself that he took the 12th off so what you on about?
It's insane that Loma fanboys are saying he won a round that Loma himself said he gave away/lost in the post fight presser... Nothing short of insane.

Loma rallied two strong rounds towards the later end but it still wasn’t enough to cause any damage to the champion Haney
If the tables was turned and Loma was the undisputed Champion and Haney faught the same way Loma did and Loma fought the same way Haney did.
(A demonstration of how confident the Haney deserved the V claimants are in what you/they claim to believe!)
@@rareearthelement8698 Facts are facts regardless of however long your comment is. Not taking anything away from Lomo he is a fighter who has all the basics down, but this was his fight to lose and he lost that fight on his own volition. He started too late, he tried to win the last 10 seconds of each round, and he allowed those body shots to wind him in the later of the 11th and 12th rounds and that coupled with giving up all those earlier rounds is what cost him that fight.
@t wash I can tell YOU that facts are facts. And fact is, Haney said he was beat in the 9th, and since didn't win a clear round. Haney's head snapping back, and Lomo with his illusive movement, and I don't give a flying forearm what anyone else thinks, that's what I personally want to see. ...Outside of an unmitigated beast like the great Prime Mike, of cause.
I watched it on mute also. I couldn't believe how many elbows Haney threw. Dude is going to be a great MMA fighter.
@Rare Earth Element who looked more beat up after the fight? 😂 Haney was primarily working the body and still beat Loma up more in the face. And those body shots late in the fight were getting more and more effective. Ask any boxer they'll tell you , hit me in the face not the body.
These judges are delusional if they think Haney won they smokin crack 😂💯
I had Lomo, and it wasn't that close. The smaller man moved forward 8 of 12 rounds, put together combos, and his jab never stopped working. Haney literally walked into his jab all night and offered zero defense and rarely strung two punches together. I wish the experts would just say he didn't drop him, so he lost.
👏🏼👏🏼
I didn’t bother to go after your other points because the one I replied to highlights your bias or lack of knowledge on the sport. Another one is that you have Loma coming forward 8 rounds which is a blatant lie. You also give him credit for combos that didn’t land which counts as points to Haney’s defense.
@@kevinherronjr3998 Gotcha 👍
Loma was getting close but not doing any damage. Too many body shots go unnoticed and not given the credit as a head shot would. The right fighter won imo and I wanted Loma to win
And when did Haney do damage? At what point was Loma hurt or even in trouble?
The decision was BS. Loma won pretty easily, and he even won the 12th round because almost all of Haney's landed shots were non-scoring low blow fouls to the leg.
What fight were you watching? Nothing you said about the 12th round was remotely true. Even Loma admitted that he gave the 12th round away, because he was ahead. I don't think you even watched the fight to make such a ridiculous claim. Smdh!
The fact that you think he won "easily" shows your bias
Someone said in the comments that Haney weighed 15-20 lbs more on fight night. Is that right?
Haney weighed 5lbs more than Loma.
Big deal.
Cry about it.
@@magacop5180 Hey! It's not my birthday and I'll cry when I wanna! 😝

IMO 7/5 Haney...
It's one of those fights that was so close, a 7/5 could have gone either way. Both had clearly won rds & then there's a decent amount of "pick em" rds & that's why half the fan base was going to be happy & the other mad🤷🏻♂️.
Haney was out punched, outmanoeuvred, out thought. Just look at the stats. Small guy dominated Haney and almost stopped him,
Haney closed out the fight. landed a lot of points to the body through out the rounds. He did get damaged in 9,10,11th but that’s out of 12 rounds 🙄
Loma didn't outbox anyone, he got outboxed
Funny.
Teddy Atlas has always been pretty on point with his assessment on a match, the fact that Teddy sounds disappointed says plenty of who truly WON THIS FIGHT. Loma beat Haney in EVERY stat department! Haney made it look like he was in that fight only by throwing all hard punches with very few landing cleanly. He landed like 8 or so solid body punches and about 3 solid head shots. You didn't see Loma's head getting snapped back constantly like Haney's ! You didn't see Loma going to his corner begging for help from his daddy. Haney kept asking, What should do daddy he has me figured out, he knows exactly what I'm doing. All signs of an already defeated fighter. You CLEARLY seen Haney was defeated up until they read the score cards and still Devin couldn't believe he won for a few minutes. Loma was man handling Devin. #LomaHighTechMatrix 👑🥊👑

It was close enough to be a draw regardless. If you think Loma is a legend, then Haney is elite. They both fought great and it was close either way. I had 115-113 for Haney with no rooting interest. People saying it was a robbery are insane.

I'll take Teddy's word as gospel. There's no reason judges wouldnt have favored Loma. This debate can be settled with a rematch, but promoters are such Divas these days, it might take 10 yrs for it to happen.
No one won the 12th round

In those rounds that were close, Loma scored more points being more technical and throwing more punches. Rounds where Haney clearly won were fewer than Loma.
If you watch a video of punches landed, hard or soft, Loma wins very clearly
You niggas dont know how to score a fight 😂😂😂😂 bc he threw more punches he won the round? DEVIN LANDED AT A HIGHER PERCENTAGE
More technical?what does that mean? Haney was throwing shots to the head an body, Loma was only throwing head shots an slot of the pitty patty punches

@@flamboyentpromotions3471He was making Haney miss and with the particular punch that he wanted Haney to throw. And countering well with not just the counter punches, but via getting into position for those counters. And calculated beyond the initial first move.
Like in chess. He was able to plan 3 to 4 moves ahead and then execute them well. Obviously in the boxing ring - and in the nature of this fight it was done at a very high pace, whereby reflexes and timing is instrumental. That is why he was more technical. Though all too often his calculated positioning was unfortunately offset by receiving an elbow in the face, certainly far too blatant and often to sit comfortably with the Marques of Queensbury anyway.
I can not understand why people are saying the fight was a robbery. The fight was a even fight that could’ve gone three ways it just so only happened to go one. I think the people that are calling it a robbery we’re watching the fight with their hearts instead of their eyes.
It’s the scorecards
That's right Teddy! Loma definitely let up. I think he thought he had it in the bag.
I didn’t know how with such a late start. Haney was killing him to the body and nothing Loma could do to stop it.
“Killing him to the body” yeah right it didn’t hurt Loma at all. Can you say the same for Haney during rounds 10 and 11? He was getting rocked.
while a draw would have been fine, Devon did not seem to do enough to win the fight. history has shown that the younger usually gets the nod. so in that sense it is kind of a robbery.
Loma won,period.
Loma let up because those body shots Haney hit him with were effective.
The 10th & 11th rds are the only rds that can be definitely judged (for Loma). The first rds Haney was coming fwd while Loma was keeping the distance.

Yea loma got robbed, if gloves and elbows scored then Haney won but if you watch the fight back and look at all the technical points scores by loma and I’m not a huge loma fan he was the clear winner, in this technical match up loma won boxing lost
The problem we have here is everyone wants a decisive winner by a huge margin but sometimes you get two guys so good you can only compare it to f1 where milliseconds count, I’m sorry but you guys are wrong Haney lost this fight, can’t actually believe people are trying to defend this
I agree with your analysis regarding Loma stepping off the gas on the 12th round, but you gonna make that observation than you also must say that even if he had finished strong the 12th, the judges would've still given the fight to Haney. As you said, 10th, 11th round decisions unacceptable. It wouldn't have made a difference in regards to the decision that night, only for himself.
