Not sure where you got your info from but you missed the two biggest problem childs out right now. The new tacoma and tundra are literally falling apart while driving.
Everyman Driver I’m starting to learn from your experience..I went to my local Toyota Dealership yesterday to check out a 2024 Toyota Tacoma that was advertised. When I arrived it was washed and parked out front waiting for me and my appointment.I was Impressed.I took it for a test drive and it was Real Nice. The sales woman assigned to me was beautiful and dressed for a night out on the town. She thought I was hooked and she reeled me in slowly. We agreed on the price she didn’t offer any more information on the truck than she had to than it was time for me to speak.I wanted to call Toyota corporate and check the service records on this trucks Vin.She disagreed with me and assured me that the truck was Certified ready to go.I insisted she get me in touch with Corporate so she did and i found that this truck with this Vin had Seven service calls on its two year lease.Electrical and Transmission Failures.I hung up and asked why didn’t you tell me this ? When it was Certified you would have been told but she went quickly to her manager and than asked me to leave.Thank you Everyman Driver i now believe in you..
What source or sources are you using for your claims of unreliability for this video? You mention transmission failures in the Acura MDX yet you don’t cite the same problems with the Odyssey and Pilot, both vehicles sharing the same Honda 10 speed transmissions as the MDX.
Outdated perception. Odyssey and MDX used to have horrible transmissions and oil thirsty engines. But the 10-speed transmissions have been much more reliable than any of the previous transmissions in larger Hondas. The Odyssey used to have electronics issues during the first few years of the 5th generation but that has been resolved and the 2025 gains more reliable electronics found in other mew Hondas. Now yes, the Type-S in particular has transmission issues, but that’s not because of the transmission itself, but it’s because it’s paired to an engine with a turbocharger and 65 more hp than what Acura is used to, so they did not tailor the transmission properly for the more powerful engine. Everyman Driver has also conflated things like engine loudness and feelable shifts with umreliability.
It’s hard when you’re subjective about a brand but he’s right, MDX, odyssey, pilot and even Toyotas just avoid due to problems. Especially nissian Unacceptable
I have a 2024 MDX and I haven’t have ANY issues with it. My wife drives the crap out of it and we’ve gone on road trips with it and haven’t had an issue yet. Would definitely recommend
These new cars are junk, I wish they would make more basic cars and just charge less for them, so people could actually afford them. If these fancy features actually worked it would be nice, but these manufacturers can't seem to figure it out.
Just buy it , buy your car . It’s the experience . Why buy something that’s is “forever “ when our own human bodies aren’t forever, just temporary .. get your car tbh
I took a JD Power survey about my 2022 Nissan Sentra SV two weeks ago. While I am overall happy with the car, it has not been perfect. But you indicate a problem (alignment, wheel bearing, tires worn out after 14K) they beat you to death with many drill-down questions, like your impressions of the appearance of the tires. The survey took 45 minutes. I wonder how many people just give up on the survey or are reluctant to bring up more issues in fear they will spend even longer finishing the survey. They put in a drawing for $100K if you complete it.
I agree with these. Honda, nissian, Acura, and even some models of Toyota just unreliable. Thank you Subaru for keeping your brand growing and getting better each day! Awesome video and informative 🏆🏆🏆
I stopped caring for Acura when I saw a CSX in Canada, which was basically a Honda Civic with Acura treatment. I also saw the European Honda Accord, which was basically a TSX here in NA.
Idea, since you RUclips have a loud voice, why don't y'all get together as a group and start a petition to take to the federal government for mandatory price reduction?

Agrred. Without giving any info sources or anything to back it up, it is basically one's opinion.

You are one sample size. That doesn’t mean that others can’t experience those issues.
It’s still 2024, I hope you wouldn’t have had any huge problems with it!
@ this is my 4th Acura (second MDX) and never had an issue with any of them. MDX, TLX and RDX

They can figure it out , they only see one thing $$$
Inexpensive vehicles without features do not sell, that is why manufacturers don't make them.
What type of cars have no issues?@@joelcampbell9469
Honda has had major problems with trasmissions in the past. Check out used Odyssey with less than 100k most will say new transmission
@@waynerogers6621 honda’s new 10 speed don’t have the issues that their past transmissions had
Not false
You can never go wrong with Japanese brand cars. Just get rid of the CVTs.
In 2025, all vehicles will be too expensive for the average consumer to purchase.
You missed the Rogue.
NOT THE MDX!!!! I WAS LOOKING TO BUY ONE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!!!
Just buy it , buy your car . It’s the experience . Why buy something that’s is “forever “ when our own human bodies aren’t forever, just temporary .. get your car tbh
My nephew's wife has had nothing but issues with her Acura MDX. Don't do it.
This is funny.......no jeep on list?
Honorary mention maybe?
I knew pathfinders and fords had issues.
is it better to lease them?

Acura, nothing more than a dressed up Honda! All these r junk! I'll keep my 2020 Kia Sportage!
Junk ? Delusional much ? Kia invented junk, good luck with that 💩
I stopped caring for Acura when I saw a CSX in Canada, which was basically a Honda Civic with Acura treatment. I also saw the European Honda Accord, which was basically a TSX here in NA.
I love my 2019 Subaru Impreza 200k miles and is fun to drive just keep maintenance and tires she,s very reliable
Such reliability issues may not present themselves until a few years down the road from today
No cars from this decade.
Kia is junk
Oh no, not the MDX! What has happened to quality in all of these vehicles?
Complexity and electronics.
Idea, since you RUclips have a loud voice, why don't y'all get together as a group and start a petition to take to the federal government for mandatory price reduction?
This is why I like my 2007 beater highlander. Keep it simple stupid..😅
