Chasing waterfalls - Jonkershoek Nature Reserve

Jonkershoek nature Reserve has 4 hiking trails but the Tweede Waterval ( Second Waterfall) is the most popular because it is short and simple. The route to the Eerste Waterval ( First Waterfall) is easy and then to get to the second waterfall its a bit challenging as there is a steep climb and a bit of rock climbing.
We actually found a Third Waterfall on our detour before we got to the Second Waterfall, so according to us the trail should be renamed Derde Waterval (Third Waterfall) 😀.
This is a beautiful hike that can be repeated over and over again, It was our third time doing it and we thoroughly enjoyed it. If done is summer you can take your swimwear with as people swim there ( there was a couple swimming even though it was a bit chilly 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
