I’m from Kazakhstan and you summed it up just right. A cheaper version of the Russian mre. We buy the Russian one sometimes when we go hiking, but never the Kazakh mre :)
I love watching these mainly as the differences in the MRE's clearly shows the differences in taste and cultures (and economic status) of the various countries. You learn a lot just from seeing what they believe is a reasonable MRE for their troops.
Kazakhstan is a former republic of the USSR and now it's in alliance with Russia, so you can notice that there are two languages on each can and package - Russian and Kazakh. And no, Kazakh language is not a dialect of Russian language, but it uses Kirillic alphabet as well. The can with veg and stew is supposed to be a soup. It called "SCHI", a traditional Russian soup made of cabbage and beef. Thanks for making interesting reviews! If you need any help in translating from Russian or need some information about Russia, I'm ready to help)
Hello buddy! Thank's for this video. Soon I will get this ration for review also. Yes, this is not perfect ration, in my personal opinion all what they change, it's a bag. Another items close the same
Nice work as always man. Very nice outro also,, adds a nice touch and fitting ... Took me a min to find it... For anyone else looking for the song.. Haxhigeaszy - The Glorious Dead
The millet and beef may not look appetizing, but it will provide the fiber a person needs in their diet, with some beef flavor to go with it. The beef, cabbage, and potato soup might be a form of "comfort food" for some people. This MRE comes from a part of the world where few spices are available. The packets of sugar, I'm sure, are a big spirit-lifter for the Kazakh troops that consume them.
All looks very interesting you did a very fair review. I appreciate your direct and honest approach. The ration overall seemed a lower grade with the packaging and items. Thanks for sharing.
Your eating straight out of the tin. Would the soldiers have a mess tin or pot to put the food into and then heat on a fire or mini stove. That way they can mix the contents. Also if they want, crush the crackers into the stew to thicken it
"what is that?" Could be okra. Could be a tentacle tip. In tomato or pepper sauce, or maybe just death? This thing just looks and sounds like a hundred ways to fail in one package. If you don't post again, at least we'll know what did you in.
Very cool sir!! I have not seen this ration before, although, I have tried the old, 3 bag type. Interesting ration, more ways than one? From your description, perhaps, the old style was better? Great ration, and review friend. Peace, John.
Your reactions were funny as hell to me 😂😂😂😂 you were reminding me of Steve1989MREInfo when y’all have those reactions I laugh 😆 like I’m watching The 3 Stooges
Have any of you guys ordered MRE’s from MREmountain? They seem to have the best selection for foreign MRE. How are they and was it worth it? I’m thinking about ordering some of the Russian and or French one’s.
Brian J absolutely! I find it hard to trust what this guy has to say when he gives everything a 10/10 when promoting friends. So I ask around, is the French really that good?
@@MikeG-l6d The French really are that good. In my view the only other ones that come close are the Italian ones. I've had both and the quality is top notch. I've always bought them via eBay as that's where you tend to get the best deals.
their governement really want their soldier to die before they even fight..... i get it about the military making it tuff on a person to make it mentally stronger , but come on, how can you fight after this, other than the urge to vomit . it should be only use during the boot camp to see if they really have what it take to be part of the team.
bought a 3 pack of french RCIRs from mremountain. Customs and border protection slashed open all 3 and took one of the mains from each of them... Is this stuff really still happening.
Nice review Nathan but i have to say this does not look very appetizing to me. As you said a lower quality russian ration. Don't know if i would have been so brave to taste it.
The cabbage soup is щи- shchi “shchee”- and is cabbage and potatoes. The cabbage can often be pickled, like sauerkraut. We’re you a good little soldier and ate all the fat out of that can of tushenka? That looks like shin beef. I’ll get onto my PC later and see what’s in that can of pickles. It at least looks like gherkin pickle and what you Americans call bell peppers. Love you eating this stuff so we don’t have to! Actually, I reckon I could destroy that ration without a problem.
Yeah the writing on it looked like Russian which is odd they must speak a dialect of it there Kawa is kasha the big chunk of meat was beef in fat very delectable in the Russian military rations, that looked like you said just a cheaper form of a Russian ration
Looks like there were too many soldiers complaining about the rations and someone further up the command line decided, that making them worse, would teach those insubordinates a lesson...😜
That camera has gotta go ..... couldn't watch whole video because of eyestrain...but of what I did see .... hmm, looked grim. On the other hand, in battle or after long weary route march, you probably wouldn't care too much, as long as it took the hunger pangs away! For once I don't feel hungry after watching......
Kazakhstan doesn't even has an huge army I even think that they started to do this thing only because other countries does Government of Kazakhstan wants to be more peaceful and even refused to use atomic weapon

BALALAIKA SHIT?? 🐖🐷
How is everything else about Kazakhstan?
Borat will tell you. He loves his sister very much.

Great information. I just had two Kazakh rations arrive today in the mail and I'm looking forward to trying them. Thanks

Yes, I call it a generic version of a Russian ration

for closeups try putting a black cross on the neck of the spoons/forks
I'm sorry even in desperate times that last Can would still be a "nope". Well done.
Great video, nice to see the latest generation of rations from foreign countries...
"what is that?" Could be okra. Could be a tentacle tip. In tomato or pepper sauce, or maybe just death? This thing just looks and sounds like a hundred ways to fail in one package.

It did not come with jar of gypsy tears for protection.
It does look like Okra...pickled...
It did look like a nipple.

Very interesting changes! Nicely reviewed Nathan.
In Kazakhstan when you get extra crumbs on top of your cans it's like you won the lottery!
Fresher than anything Steve1989 has in his pantry.
Liked the video, wish I could get a hold of some of those MRE’s. Can you let me what app your using to translate the MRE’s.

The packaging, outer and inner, certainly is thin - do you think it might have less fieldability ?
Thank you Hormel Spamsperson
Nice video brother!!!! Really enjoyed this one a ton!!! Hope your doing good buddy been awhile since we talked!!!
Love your video thank you. Can you please tell me what the transaction app you use please?
Google translate
Great video
Good to see that the only thing different between the old Kazahk ration and the new one is the cheap bag.
This looks like the type of ration that makes you want to kill the enemy as quickly as possible and then eat their ration packs
hi i did had some mre meals before that was 5years ago it was great meals while we camp out the great outside doors
You should throw some razors in those cans so you have more things to get cut on.

Makes sense it is over salted since there are no condiment's or accessory pack.
bought a 3 pack of french RCIRs from mremountain.

Yes. It will continue to happen until someone does something about that, and good luck on that unless someone new gets the White House.
Why did they do that?
"Best Yoda voice" How do you fight eating food of this kind?
That ration makes a McDonalds look appetising!!
Nice review Nathan but i have to say this does not look very appetizing to me. As you said a lower quality russian ration. Don't know if i would have been so brave to taste it.
What kind of knife is that and where did you get it
Think he has a link
I'm glad there was no ground yak & wolf meat stew with yellow carrots rutabagas and turnips
Did you use the Russian word for beef stew for the middle one?
perhaps salty items are meant to be mixed in with more bland items
I was thinking it would go well over basic white rice. Spread that saltiness out.
Sorry, but it's pronounced Ka-zakh-stan, not Ka-zaka-stan. Love your videos though.
He intentionally mispronounces words to rile people up lol. You should hear how he pronounces "tortilla"
Nobody fu... cares about it
Camera focus hurting my eyeballs.

If it’s too hard to pronounce, people also say kah-zik-stan
11:44 the taste of superior potassium all other rations have inferior potassium
Are you making these up now lol ! Keep up the good work !
When's the lunch review?
You chose this life lol.
It would have been funny if you did the Chinese ration and used a bottle of Corona with it
Uh-very nice!👍
Cool ration I would love to try some

It is also to close to everything, can't zoom out , im working on upgrading again ASAP
i wonder if the food is more 4 the average khazak soldier rather than some American who somehow got his hands on it.
Doesn’t appear to be a Michelin Star kind of meal...
I Like.
why does he mash everything together. steve 1989 is way more organized. getting headache.
I feel bad for those ' Kaz-ak-a-stan' soldiers, this is almost as gross as the chinese rations
Es Ver’ nice.

Kazaki stan ration😂😂😂😂😂
I wonder what that tea is beta than.
Looks like great Russian mre 👍
Mystery meat !
We know that stuff was bad if you won't eat it lol
Too thin that would risk breaking open
KA ZAKA STAN? LOL
Same poor content but in a new modern looking bag 😂
