His full name was Pandit Ganpati Dutt, he was working in Multan . And not sure where he was working . He was living before 1947 in that house. He left that house during partition and came to Amritsar and then to Delhi, India.
Most Hindus and Sikhs were very rich in Pakistan at the time of the Partition in 1947. About 80% of Properties in big cities like Lahore, Layalpur, and Multan belong to Hindus/Sikhs. Sikhs were mostly big Landlords whereas Hindus were mostly Traders or Industries.

We are from India, did not experience pain of partition & migration. But your video touched my heart. Felt pain of migration by hindu & Sikh. I was born in hanu ka chaja in 17 /8/58 .now i am in karachi i really enjoyed this but I have visited my forefathers places in churu (rajistan ) but couldn’t visit hisar (my father) place
Thanks Baig Saheb for archiving the old places and memories for generations to come. I was able to visit my home in 2005, after leaving in1947 as a 5 years old. Still the three story majestic house quite looked quite familiar. People from Rohtak India live there. They treated us very warmly. Brought back my childhood, remember the gate ver well. Thanks

you are right these people converted but I never saw any Yadav casts in Muslims. Perhaps they never converted to islam

This all is mix of Rajasthani and other North Indian temple artistry. We can see such temple and houses architecture in old Mathura, Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan areas.

We Pakistani respect your feelings unfortunately in 1947 a huge number of people migrated in both countries ...it is calculated ,at that time one Million Muslims migrated from India to Pakistan....in united India hate cruelity and injustice caused partition ...Hindus were in majority and were in power in the society...some were so cruel that they could not bear any other human in their area which was not according to their religion or tribe ...Hindu historians also indicated to this reality...
