The communities who say לדוד after עלינו by שחרית or by נוסח אשכנז after שיר של יום and then blow שופר seems more appropriate based on this then חב"ד who say לדוד after שיר של יום before קוה and only blow שופר after last קדיש ?

It's in the סידור doesn't that mean the אלטר רבי held of it or was it added later to the אלטר רבי סידור?
So after עלינו according to קיצור?
The ספרדים I think say לדוד the whole year after שחרית
