Good interview, ladies. The season is great so far. Better than I expected. Nothing remotely similar to the young knuckleheads on the show the last 20 years. I'm 68 and it has already invigorated me to think perhaps I'd be willing to give love another whirl, because I've pretty much given up on it. But this guy is somewhat of a unicorn...not many Gerry's out there. And the ones like him are married. He'd still be married if his wife hadn't died.
They don’t make men like they used to. The reason there aren’t many like this anymore is because they get snatched up so quick. I married my second husband literally the second he (and I) were both divorced. He was a catch. We were both 43. That’s when love and sex is just getting good.
@@Cwgrlup men are still pretty good, remember and I’m sure Gerry would agree, that these are highly scripted shows which means edited, he seems very authentic and I bet would say that he is hardly perfect, although does appear to be a lovely man. It also helps if you don’t have kids together, my husband and I got married in our 30’s and had a few years together to having kids but it kids put a lot of stress on our marriage, they are the best thing ever, but if we didn’t have them we would have avoided a lot of conflict, but we are together to enjoy them which enriches our marriage.
I'm glad that they started putting middle age men and women and older than the other ones that just used the men and wemen but I wish they he had never let the last one go I think that she really loved him but which one of the other two he will choose the right one for him

This was a nice interview, the interviewers didn’t talk down to the bachelor or infantilize him or the contestants which can often happen with older people by media instead of treating them like grown adults.
If the Golden Bachelorette or Bachelor existed exclusively, I'd be thrilled. So tired of high-school drama and HS love on the Bachelorette and the Bachelor. Great interview.

Always wished to have a mature bachelor series and my wish came true. Hopefully the young generation will learn the true meaning of a genuine love relationship. I had exactly that with my late husband who is now in heaven. I had that beatiful gift in my life.

I think they make the best couple. They have the same kind of background and they both have a sense of humor. She obviously is intelligent and can take care of herself. However, I think she definitely would like to get married and so would Gerry. I don’t think she went on the show for another reason except to find love. I feel like the others, including Leslie might be looking for fame or something else. ( just my opinion)
