I worked armed security in Las Vegas for ten years, you would be surprised at the number of tourists that make a target of themselves. They are oblivious to their surroundings and spend to much time head down on their phone. I'll drink at home. If I over do it, it's a short crawl to the bedroom. Take care.
Years ago I was watching Reekay and he was doing a review on loctote bags. If you don’t have a safe in the room they are handy. Tuff to get into and lock one to a big piece of furniture. If you have company stay the night and the company wants to get your money and run it’s gonna slow them way down and probably make enough noise to wake you up. That would be my strongest suggestion for new visitors. Not all rooms will have a safe. Never let someone see what you put in the bag. Most folks here are great but observe and be careful.

Learned my lesson about keeping cellphone safely tucked away. After a night out in Angeles was walking back to hotel when a woman approached holding a baby ( at 2am) she bumped into me and went on her way. 10 minutes later I reach for my phone and I dont feel it...didnt take long to figure out my phone was lifted. My own fault...had it hanging out of my shorts pocket. Next morning I had my filipina friend call my number (wasn't locked) and a filipino guy answered. He said he bought the phone hours before from some guy. I offered to pay him 2k over what he paid for the phone, which came to 12k. Hated to do it, but it was still worth it to me. My friend met him outside a McDonalds and made the exchange...no questions asked. Got my phone back, minus the sim card. Lesson learned.

Gio , I have a question for you about the passport , I just got back from a three week vacation in the Philippines went to many destinations most places accepted my US drivers license when they ask for ID some ask for my passport , what do you recommend in that situation if you don’t have your passport on you , you mentioned a photocopy is that sufficient ,and what’s a ACR for is that another form of ID?
I have the passport card also. Very handy. Never carry them both at the same time. Unless it’s a airport travel day. Edit: ACR card . It’s required for foreigners staying longer than 60 days. Good for a year. It’s a government issued ID. The only time I carry my passport now is when im going to renew my visa
If you don’t take it out you can’t lose it. All you need when you go out is your ID/driving licence 1 ATM card and a little cash. What a prat I understand having a stash of cash in apartment especially if you aren’t in the major cities but i wouldn’t let anyone know where it is unless it’s a really close friend or girlfriend I actually live with.
Gio, just my 2-cents: While there may be a Philippino who steals from you a hundred pisos, it's your fellow X-pat who can and will steal your life savings.

Never let ANY ONE in to your house when you turn your back they will find some thing to steal,,
Regarding drinking, nothing positive ever came out of even one drink. As they say in AA it’s not the last drink that got you. It’s the first drink.
I have a passport card. When you get your passport you can get the card also for another $30
If you don’t take it out you can’t lose it.
??????? When is Josh and his girlfriend coming back to your channel for an update?????????
They have moved out from here.
