Amazing! Well edited with great transitions and the music queuing perfectly and the crowd voices and other sound effects for enriching things in the cities. Amazing content with a group. I went crazy with the shadow formed in the trails of the Ares ships as the last one was about to go through the trails! And great song for showcasing the game without stealing the show. I will be using this along with a very few other videos for introducing the game to friends. Thank you for this!

Ce sont des F8, vaisseau indisponible à l'achat il faut les voler dans le jeu à des IA faisant partie de l'UEE. Seul moyen de l'obtenir légitimement, attendre la sortie de Squadron42 et finir la campagne, du moins si les conditions ne change pas d'ici là

Considering that its only in alpha, which it is, there's no denying it, there is more to do in SC than there is in _all_ of EVE Online, which has been "a full game" since 2003, CIG has a roadmap for the future, which EVE and ED don't have, SC has new features that they're working on and actually posting very detailed updates on...yeah. Its only an alpha and its one of the best space sims on the market.
Not really mission break all the time, mining bugs a lot, trade is static because no quantum backend yet for resources, bugs in general. It's hard to have the same experience consistently.
Hi, what’s the point in putting these games in some kind of comparison? Diversity of space games is good. There’s food for all. I’m having more fun with SC than with ED, but this is me. I never shouted against for a bug, but doing a lot against SC. I don’t know Eve but it seems that many players enjoy it.

Thats what Star Citizen is good for. Take a screenshot or flying tech demo. Wheres 100 star systems.. Wheres all the old backer promises.. Half a billion dollars and 10 years of development.. just an alpha...
I can understand the frustration of some about the development time to achieve the promises they have quoted. But personally I don't care, having the opportunity to play a game in alpha that's already so rich has never happened in the history of video games, I'd rather settle for what I have than hope for more by waiting and enjoying nothing. There's so much to do on this game already to have fun, and with each patch there's more content and new ways to have fun, development is slow at the moment but at least I don't miss anything that comes out and I can enjoy all the new gameplay while I can before settling for a single job when the game is released.
@@Thoya. yeah but just because they slapped "alpha" label on their product doesnt hide the fact that it took them 10 conclusive years and half a billion dollars to this point. its too much time and finance more than our lives can imagine. and this techdemo-like game is what we got?
the more features they add without fixing bugs is like throwing trash under the carpet. I cant even imagine "tons of feature game" without tons of bugs each patch, the more new patch, the more problem. this game doesnt sound technically possible for me at all tho.
I cant stop you from enjoying what you have but "using Alpha as shield" by CIG doesnt hide the fact that they are very incompetence on their management. they cant even pull out SQ42 which is a single player game. how can they pull out a functional PU? thats no way. I think they are using SQ42 as another shield to excuse the delay on PU. Sadly, even that, SQ42 also gone dark on development. Last heard was new AI system, and thats all. 10 years and still at AI development..
@@mozambique9113 You're wrong in your argument, the half a billion dollars wasn't used otherwise development would have stopped, then it's the first time a game of this magnitude is created so it requires shaping technologies that didn't exist before, I don't count the ridiculous number of developers working on Star Citizen because 3/4 of them are working on Squadron 42 (the Star Citizen campaign).
I could give you a bunch of other valid reasons but it could be a lot. I'm sure you'll be able to get more information before giving your opinion on a complex subject, games like Battlefield 2042 which requires 1000X less performance in development can be more mediocre than a game in Alpha with technologies never used before... All I can say about Star Citizen is that it's far from being finished, but it's also by far the game I've had the most fun playing in recent years.
I don't know of any game that offers as much content as this one while having as much freedom of action and breathtaking graphics. Even if it stayed in Alpha for another 10 years I'd be fine with it because there's always more to do and I always have more fun with it. If you haven't tried it before I suggest you do so during the free trial events, they happen quite often and you can make up your own mind. If the game has a real flaw it would be the lack of explanation for new players so I advise you to be accompanied because there is really a lot of content available and it's easy to get lost
@@Thoya. Ok, lets keep it that way that PU is a "magic of video games" that will take bunch of time and work to get it done. But how about a simple outdated single player game like SQ42? Whats holding that single player game for 10 years then? It has been announced development since 2012 and release date in 2014 right? Whats the excuse of "magic jesus content" behind it?
Back to my reply, I tried the game and refunded. Theres no need for me to wait months to try free trial anymore. The current state of the game is a mess. It still lack bunches of stuff. "I dont know any of the game that offers as much content as this one" Yeah they only offer it because those features are just dreams, they can say whatever they want and delay them for another 10 years.
The features they have in reality are useless, like toilet animation, bug ridden spaceships, and 30 mins walk to the hangar etc. Even most of their released ships still lack the features they were promised. What about real gameplay? I mean the "real game function of fun" not just landing on some planets and take a screenshot? If thats how you find enjoyment in video games I think you should try all the other tech-demos. You will love them.

- Squadron is not outdated, a single player game that took 10 years to develop? Red Dead 2 took 10 years to develop even though it has a miniature map compared to Squadron. GTA 6 has been in development for 10 years and still no cinematics... We know nothing about the game, absolutely nothing...
Squadron was actually scheduled for release in 2014 but that was before the funding exploded, so Chris Robert revised the schedule and came up with a bigger game as a result (but you would have known that if you'd really looked into it)

- False, I played it just yesterday and had no problems, very good performance (50 fps minimum) and no bugs in 5 hours of play.
(if you played in 2015 I can understand the frustration but as you said it's been 10 years now it's time to take a closer look) ;)

- I think you misunderstood, when I was talking to you about multiple features I was talking about the present and not the promises that will come later... There are currently more things to do than you think, start a live chat on twitch and ask the question to the first person who will be happy to enumerate all the possibilities of the game currently (take a day off, the list might be long)

- For the toilets it's cool, you have to implement this kind of feature one day and it doesn't require a lot of resources to do so, fortunately this kind of feature are multiple (doors, seats, control panels, switch management, all the portable objects that are really portable, etc). It's what contributes to what we call "immersion", and it's weird that a Red Dead player would complain about this kind of feature when you're fascinated by the balls of a fully modeled horse and react to temperatures...
- 30min walk to the hangar? you have to stop playing cowboy, there are lifts and public transport to reach the Spaceport... are you sure you at least got out of your room at the loby when you started the game?

- Assuming you didn't manage to get to your ship (because you couldn't read a sign I guess), there's already "real gameplay" in the game, missions of all kinds (transport, bounty hunting, bunker assault, mining, raiding etc) not to mention the vents throughout the year that offer plenty of extra content...
I've had a hell of a time answering you, now you're free to think what you want about the game, but I'm still having a lot of fun with this game, you can continue to feel the horse's balls and explore the 3 poor biomes that Red Dead 2 offers, but your messages don't belong here, I haven't seen you commenting on the content I've posted, so I'd ask you to go and make your hateful comments about this game on the forums related to it ;)
Oh and please avoid the Spectrum one despite the appearance it's not meant for that either.

It's not an alpha, it's stringing people along with a skeleton game. We get a shadow of a tech demo, what's made stable to appease. As a long time backer, I'm happier when yall are more up front. Please don't think we're fooled by delusions of grandeur at this point. Please be down-to-earth.
I understand where people are coming from when they say this and I'm not saying CIG has made perfect decisions or that they've delivered on their promises. Obviously there's a lot lacking, I'd say the majority of even the active playerbase knows, and agrees with this. But I can personally say that the $60'ish dollars I spent on this game back in 2016 have been well worth it and I've put down more than enough hours to not feel like it's been a waste of money as compared to so many other cookie cutter $60 AAA games. I think it comes down to the type of game each individual is looking for. I've been invested into space sims since I first played Freelancer as a child, played all of the major and a handfull of smaller titles but none of them manage to pull off what Star Citizen is doing quite like Star Citizen with the "make your own loop" kind of gameplay.
But then again I've also spent way too much time building expectations over different games, been delivered a final product that just falls flat after a while that I really don't care anymore if it takes time, I'll revisit everytime I get the urge and so far, each time the game has been transformed in such a way that it feels fresh, despite the bugs, but I can deal with those for now. I'm not sure what people mean when they say "There's nothing to do" because I've done a whole lot in this game, varied activities that all feel real and genuinely fun.
What I don't understand is why people feel the obligation to constantly shit on people who enjoy it, saying we're coping and whatnot, invalidating the experience we've got with the game, not saying that's what you're doing, but I'm sure you've seen it all by this point. I also think CIG should be held accountable for the slow progress and focus on insignificant filler stuff. It is however how the game is designed, to bring as many small, insignificant things as possible to bring immersion. The game looks great and plays great where it matters, it's just not suitable for a wider audience. The audience gets defensive because there is so much toxicity surrounding it, people can call it coping if they want. Maybe it is, but at least we're having fun.

Also if we're going to talk about money and time, I spent around 3k and have been here since the game was hangers only... And most ships weren't even in the hangers... So no offense to your paragraphs of ramble but you clearly missed the point of the comment and made a lot of presumptions about my usership and experience.

Ok graphics. Yeah its good. Whatever. But gameplay the bugs man the bugs. Just today I had 1 station have all hangar screens bug out and not work. Had to change the server 5 times. Took me ~20 mins. And I only had about 1 free hour to play.
Eye candy, pretty graphics all fine. But when the game dosen't work feels like an absolute scam. High graphics feel more and more cheap.
yeah it's cool but I would have preferred a comment on the editing I did rather than a complaint about the game, I'm not CIG's SAV...
@@Thoya.Ahhh... Pfff that... Unironically 10/10 IGN, movie shorts etc, if ur cinematic was used to present the game it could easily pass as false advertising. As whats in the cinematic is just a lucky 5% of what one may experience.
