@@2Chronicles714_ No Sir, he did not preach a false gospel. There is only one gospel of Christ and it is a message to be believed not a work to be performed. You don't set out to change your life and reform your ways in order to get saved. That is putting the cart before the horse. The change of life is a RESULT of salvation not the CAUSE of it. All a lost sinner has to know is that they are a sinner who deserves God's just wrath upon them for their sins. Then they must come to Christ believing that He shed the innocent blood of the Lamb of God on the cross and rose bodily from the dead. That is the simple gospel message to be believed. Curtis Hutson preached clearly that salvation was all of God's grace, not of works lest any man should boast. Repentance is not setting out to turn away from every sin nor is it being really sorry for every sin. It is admitting your GUILT and trusting our one and only Savior,. the Lord Jesus Christ. It is changing your mind about what you are believing that is false to believing in Christ alone for salvation. Lost sinners are helpless and hopeless to save themselves or change. God begins to change your life AFTER you believe on Christ and this is a LIFE LONG PROCESS.

Romans 16:26 (KJV) But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: Romans 10:16 (KJV) But they have not all obeyed the gospel. There is an error it seems. I don’t know how it can be so with the preacher but he shows a narrow minded understanding. In psalm 66 verse 18 we read “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.” On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit had come, Peter stood up with the eleven and preached to the people. Acts ch2v37 “Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? There are people today that refuse the word repent, but Peter said it. Verse 38 “Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptised everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission…” or the forgiveness “…of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” At the moment of receiving Gods gift of Salvation repentance sees to it that there is no regarding of iniquity. Of course God the Father and God the Son sees the not regarding of iniquity, because Isaiah says, the Father, He is speaking of the people “For I know their works and know their thoughts…” Isaiah ch 66v18 and in Luke ch 6 verse 8 the Lord Jesus, it is said of him concerning the scribes and Pharisees that he knew their thoughts “But he knew their thoughts…” In that moment in the presence of the Savior we know him as Lord and receive His gift, we became Born Again. He has become our Lord and Savior We get a new nature, 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17 says “Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” We are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians ch4v30 “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed into the day of redemption.” While we have a new nature the old one still remains. Chapter eight in Romans teaches us on this. Chris Barry…
