Im in my final year of college getting a degree in biomedical science and all through my science classes I have never ever watched a video as good as this one. Amazing. I will definitely return to watch and learn more.
Everyone does it, but the term "membrane-bound" is inferior to "membrane-bounded". A ribosome is an organelle and in eukaryotic cells a ribosome can be bound to the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum. So a ribosome can fit the term 'membrane-bound' organelle. But prokaryotic cells have ribosomes. The term 'membrane-bounded' eliminates the ambiguity: it means the organelle itself has as its own boundary a membrane, excluding the possibility of the organelle not having a membrane itself but being bound to a membrane.
"Membrane bound" means the organelle is wrapped in an outer layer. For example, mitochondria have an outer layer that wraps all around the outside of them. For this reason, the mitochondria are an example of a membrane bound organelle. Not all organelles are membrane bound. For example, there is no outer layer that wraps around ribosomes.

One of the best revision guides I've used so far! God bless you!
Now _that's_ how you lay out the basic facts in a concise manner.
Refreshing.
This is way more detailed than my current classes. That's what I like about them. Go science!!
Brought here from science class. didn't regret it
Thank you for the compliment... best wishes to you
mam u r best bioteacher I have ever seen
he is a man not mam
This video is AMAZING! Thank you!

please define receptor mediated endocytosis, and also explain 2 types of mediated transport.
Thank you so much for the educational video
GREAT video!!! was really struggling to grasp these concepts and your video simplified everything for me. Thank you!
+caroline I'm so happy to hear that... I love getting messages from viewers like this. Thanks for watching. Best wishes to you.
You are the best, love your work!

Thank u this realy help for my exam
what are functions of peroxisomes ,centrioles and centrosome
They build up the cytoskeleton
Thank you !!!!!
why is it necessary for eukaryotic cells to have organelles than prokaryotic cells?
You are the best
