Friends in Spaaaaaaace! Lego Space Academy build & review

- Exploring new frontiers, boldly going where no minidoll has gone before (except Sweet Mayhem but shhh). Lego Friends Space Academy features Olivia and some other random new(ish) characters and is a welcome addition. I'm still bummed that there won't be a space sub-theme, but I like what the Friends line is doing for the mid-year sets.
If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Lego is an artistic medium and no matter your building expertise there is something here for everyone. Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets and create my own customs (MOCs). I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so things can get a bit hectic, but I'm sure you're down for that.

Oh, goodness. I love this so much! It’s so nice not to have another vet clinic set 😂 My space loving daughter put this on her list as soon as she saw it. She is usually not one for the more “cutesy” Friends sets, so I was excited to see Lego branching out!
I love how in the new wave in lego friends most of the sets are themed for each girl i love this set and can not wait for part 2
I'm not even really a friends fan but this set is pretty cool. I love anything space related lol. This is a good, modern, still in production set to acquire both a space shuttle and launch station from though. I love the classic space logo on the outfits aswell!
Omg, this set is sooo good. Its one of the few new sets i feel is actually worth the money for legofriends. And somehow even tho its a minimalist and modern building style, it is the least minimal out of the current buildings and apartments in the friends line. Definitely my favourite set of this relaase season

The planets closest to the sun would be Mercury and Venus. I think that's what those first two planets would be, and then the one after Earth and the moon would be Mars.

Hey Ellie! I've been waiting for this video and I love it! If you were curious, the planet closest to the sun is Mercury. The next one is Venus. After Earth and the moon it's Mars. Hope this helped lol

I’m not like against LEGO friends but this is just a theory. Recently, the friends haven’t actually had a shared sub theme for a while, so I wonder if the girls are possibly drifting apart, so they can all explore their own interests, especially with what they are doing this year, so I wonder, if this year or next year may be the end of LEGO friends, the show at least, like ninjagos show ended, but it’s still getting sets, it might end up like that.
I’m asking for this for Christmas!!! I’m so so excited. I’m obsessed with anything space and this set looks gorgeous ❤

I got mine two days ago and I hurried to build it so I could enjoy your video without spoilers! I ended up getting an extra medium gold pipe…which had me scouring the instructions for my mistake! Can’t be LEGO…has to be me you know. I also tried a different helmet on Olivia because I got one in the big Friendship Heart box set. It has oxygen tanks on it. I know you have that set. The gold face covers from the minifigure helmet fits on it. It really bothers me that there are no oxygen tanks in the set. The pictures even has her space walking without oxygen!!! What?
Oh I forgot about that headpiece! And I got an extra gold pipe too (I’m a bit hit and miss about remembering to show leftover pieces 😬).
Finally this set is what I've always wanted!!!!

my very easy method just speeds up naming planets.... My (Mercury) Very (Venus) Easy (Earth) Method (Mars) Just (Jupiter) Speeds (Saturn) Up (Uranus) Naming (Neptune) Planets (Pluto, I know it has been demoted but I still like it)!
