- I love Spongebob! It’s my favorite show of all time. It’s nostalgic. It made everyone’s childhood. This is just my opinion. Feel free to like and subscribe if enjoyed. My Ranking
Great/Good Seasons
1. Season 2
(Underrated compared to the third Season but still the best Season and the only one with not a single bad episode.)
2. Season 3
My personal favorite Season but it’s slightly overrated. There’s some filler like The Great Snail Race and Party Pooper Pants but still another flawless season.)
3. Season 4
(Unpopular opinion because people mostly the SpongeBoomers who believe the show stopped being good after this Season. But I find it funny and nostalgic. It’s a step down from the first three but they did a decent job of trying to keep the magic of the first 3 seasons. I find this season to be overhated and I consider it the most underrated of the entire show.)
4. Season 1
(Another nostalgic and solid season and a strong introduction to the legendary series but I’m not really a fan of the animation given it debuted in the 90’s and it just hasn’t aged as well as Seasons 2 and 3.)
5. Season 11
(My favorite Modern Season and the only one I truly like. It’s often polarizing because how incredibly different it is compared to the other seasons and trust me this is the weirdest season of the show but it’s so many episodes I love and go back to except Ink Lemonade and like Season 4 I find it to be underrated and a huge guilty pleasure.)
6. Season 9
(If it wasn’t for the first half, this would’ve cracked the top 5. The second half is absolutely amazing and when the show’s quality started to improve after a two year break and when Hillenburg returned to the show, however the awful first half does ruin it. Overall another good season.)
7. Season 5
(This could have been a little bit better. It’s still a really good season but it’s too many flaws on it for me to put it higher and make it on par with the first four seasons. But the episodes of Season 5 are mostly good.)
Mediocre/Bad Seasons
8. Season 10
(Pretty Alright Season and like
Season 13, but it’s just isn’t that much memorable stuff on it and this Season is way too short. But I still like it still some great episodes. Mimic Madness is still one of my favorite post movie episodes ever.)
9. Season 12
(I kinda overhated this season because I disliked it so much. I still don’t really like it but it’s not as terrible as I thought it was. But it’s still not good. Overuse of the weird faces and too many Rip-Off episodes. Another mediocre season.)
10. Season 8
(A Huge Improvement over Seasons 6 and 7 but still has some of the awfulness of those seasons and most of the episodes from Season 8 felt rushed but to I do have to give it some praise as it still has some of the best episodes of the series like It’s A SpongeBob Christmas, Frozen Face Off and Hello Bikini Bottom. It does get unfairly lumped and labeled with those two Seasons as bad. It’s just Mediocre.)
11. Season 13
(Just a pretty weak season and not really an episode to back too other than SpongeBob’s Road To Christmas.)
12. Season 6
(Season 7 is worse but this is my least favorite season. So many boring and poorly written episodes, awful jokes and I consider this Season the true start of the downfall of the show.)
13. Season 7
(Of the absolute worst cartoon seasons ever. Most of the shows worst ever episodes are from both this season and Seasons 6 and 8. Just SpongeBob at its absolute worst. Gross moments, Squid tourtue etc. Squidward’s Tiki Land is the only episode I like from this trash season. To me the worst season of the snow. How SpongeBob was able to survive and improve its quality after its huge Seasonal Rot is beyond me.)

13. Season 6
12. Season 8 (This is the season of the dark era with the best humor and the most acceptable episodes, but aside of those acceptable episodes the rest is really bad imo)
11. Season 7
10. Season 5
9. Season 9 (I hate the first episodes, but the episodes made after the second movie are good. Meh season imo)
8. Season 4 (This one is very mixed, but decent)
7. Season 11 (Also my least favorite modern season, but it's good imo. I hate Squirrel Jelly, Ink Lemonade and Whale Watching and it's the modern season with the most episodes that were just alright, but to me it's still a solid season)
6. Season 10 (Good season. No bad episodes here tbh)
5. Season 13 so far (It's good, most episodes are super unique and creative. It's the most experimental and creative season imo)
4. Season 12 (A very enjoyable season. The only episode I dislike is The Nitwitting. The Ghost of Plankton is amazing)
3. Season 1 (Great season, but the two seasons after it are notoriously better)
2. Season 3 (Excellent season, but it has some episodes that are just alright. The Great Snail Race is also my least favorite but it's a meh imo)
1. Season 2 (Excellent season. Even the worst episode (Squid on Strike) is decent)

Season 8 has a lot more interesting episodes ideas than season 5 6 and 7, but overall season 8 is a C+ in my opinion. So I can kinda agree with you guys.
