I love your builds but not a fan of the orange and pink Some expectation: A large library Some kind of desert related statues An industry of something A new villager job So exited for the upcoming episodes 🤍
fWhip, I just have to say, I have never seen someone absolutely nail a desert build like this. Normally, desert builds in Minecraft end up looking so barren and lifeless, often void of vegetation and color. The style you're going for here is not only super vibrant and unique but also so much more realistic and immersive. I love how everything is slowly expanding outward from the river, and the realistic irrigation is an incredible touch. This is killer.
You should name the cat Bastet after the Egyptian cat goddess, I js found it cute that she spawned over your rendition of the Nile and I think it would fit her!
For the two cats, you could lean into the slight Egyptian theme and call them Bastet and Sekhmet, after two cat-headed warrior/protector gods of ancient Egypt. (Or just go with Purrtricia and Pawtrick xD)
You can add honeycomb blocks to the palm trees to look like date palms! That being said, a whole field of date palms would make an awesome addition to the desert
I think you could sprinkle some more cactuses around the desert, or make an additional farm for them, or make your own cacti plants! Either way you're doing a really good job transforming the village so far! I'd love to see you add more settlements and small details to this promising build and I defenitely can't wait to see it finished 😁
There's a very thin kind of tree called a "beech tree" which would suit your area. They are just tall trunks without any big branches... so just straight up with sparse leaves.
The cat that sits on the bridge could be called Olivia because it’s the female counterpart to Oliver, that, as far as I remember, is the name of the cat on your porch in your starter home. 😅 Long sentence for a non English speaker😁
Maybe you could try making dragon's blood trees for this area, or maybe just on the plateaus? They have a really distinctive shape, and you can make them using mangrove roots and acacia leaves. One of my favorite trees irl, and they fit the arid environment well.
Had the same idea, those look so impressive but they are probably quite hard to build. Acacia could work too, sure they normally grow in savannas but since he’s building a lush desert it would fit quite well.
This series is so incredible from the start to the finish. The build are just so great Fwhip is such a talented youtuber.I love Fwhip and his content!!!
You should name the Cat you found on the Bridge “Cleo” or “Sphinx”! A nice tie to the history of Ancient Egypt, like a nice modern touch that the Old Papyrus was missing.
I absolutely love the idea of you bringing back papyrus and giving it a bit of an update with the new blocks, its turning out amazing! For a build recommendation, keep the hill (the one all the villagers are on) in the build, its adds some height variation and could be later used for a manor or fort/barracks. :)
So excited to see the desert village begin development! It would be awesome to actually implement villagers into this village since it won’t be as laggy as the spawn village
Since your first building here in the desert, I was reminded of your 1.12 survival and im so glad you’re taking inspiration from Papyrus! Looking forward to watching you transform the desert 😊
you can maybe build a dried up oasis or a dried up part of the river with some dead trees and maybe some occasional acacia trees? the new expansion looks great!
I can't say I've ever been a fan of desert builds, but I think you'll manage to pull it off! I look forward to seeing what you cook up; the terrain is amazing! For tree suggestions, how about the Palo Verde?
Name suggestions for the cat guarding the desert bridge to a loosely Ancient-Egyptian-themed city? Bastet. Also, if you want a new desert-themed tree to do, maybe give Aleppo Pine a shot. _Pinus halepensis_ is the scientific name.
different tree suggestions? I suggest something like Mesquite/Black Locust/Honey Locust trees. They're common for deserts all over the world because they can grow in super hot areas, drought conditions, and extremely poor and salty soils, so you'd almost surely see them in a desert town like this. Plus they all have long bean pod like seedpods that you could probably mimic using Mangrove Propogules if you're clever about it. I also like the North American Desert Willow which you could make using flowering azalea leaves and birch fences, and the tallest of the vanilla Acacia trees are both pretty accurate and appropriate as well as much more low effort.
You know what, maybe add an Olive Grove, and a traditional mediteranean vineyard with Mullbery trees and roses among the grapes(sweetberries) to the list of farms you could put farther away from the river. And also consider Juniper and Rose or sweetberry hedges.
I think grass trees could be a really cool addition - I live in Australia and they’re everywhere because they can survive in the heat and storms and their roots can grow through sand. Also in the desert it’s often quite windy so low lying trees that are only like 2m tall is common - they all grow the same way because they’re so used to being battered by the wind coming in off the ocean
I think that building some desert willows into your world would look so good, it would be a nice settle change of color from the palm trees you’ve been building, love the vids btw
perfect timing for a new fwhip video!! i always play your videos in the background, just to have some company while i work on my bachelors project, it makes me be so much more productive haha, thank you for all the comforting content!💜
obsessed with the block palette for that second bridge omg!! for tree suggestions i would recommend looking into australian desert trees like boabs, waddis, or maybe even wattle trees? wattle trees at their most recognisable state is when they're flowering and the flowers are extremely yellow i wouldn't even know how to go about recreating that in minecraft lol
you could add fig trees or acacia trees. or even jacaranda trees if you can figure out how to get those pretty purple flowers (although pink azaleas might be close enough).
Woow, this world is turning into something really great.. All the builds, customized Biomes, fields and everything. It's just so much peaceful and enjoyable, also the passion and the details you give to every build is so amazing.. Keep it up buddy. One of the greatest minecraft contents in RUclips, you actually inspired me to start my own RUclips Minecraft journey, you inspired me to start a channel and start my own world too.. THANK YOU SO Much ❤
You should make a hidden cave where all the 10 golems protecting the villagers are but in statues. Like that meme where a lot of people are holding down their swords. They do deserve something, they protected the villagers
every time I think you've done the most creative thing in an area you manage to do something even better. im absolutely amazed, this is already looking so good!!
I think it will be fun and interesting to make an ancient tunnel filled with treasure and traps underneath the new desert village. But however a wonderful new episode! Keep it up❤❤❤
You’re one of the most creative builders I’ve ever watched, and I really enjoy all of your videos! I look forward to watching the rest of this transformation.
The guardian kitty and the magic kitty should be called Bastet and Heka. (Bastet is the egyptian cat goddess of protection and Heka is the egyptian god of magic.)
For trees, you could try out some custom acacia trees, also joshua trees. There are many different kinds of palms that grow in arid climates, so you can vary the thickness and height of some of the palms to appear like different species.
14:25 The first cat looks like a Siamese, ooh. One idea for the cat's name, since it is the Guardian of the Bridge, and New Papyrus is somewhat Nile-like, you could name the cat *Bastet* after the Egyptian cat Goddess of the same name, and even native to the Nile River, which seems fitting for a cat over the river. Just throwing that out there. 26:42 Another tree type that could fit in is *Eucalyptus trees* which are both thin and can vary in height. Since it's a desert, they could be further away from the water, surrounded with course, rooted, and regular dirt with something like tall grass. Gosh Dang!! It's been 6 YEARS!! Man, it has been an incredible experience following your Minecrafting Journey, and I'm excited to continue joining you. Sweet desert build, fWhip; the techniques and block palettes used are great inspiration. Thanks lots!!
Anyone else agree mojang should make it so we can strip mushroom blocks the same as logs (by right clicking with the axe) it would make using that great inner mushroom block so much easier to build with.
would definitely love to see an aquarium! working on conceptualizing one myself, and it would be interesting to see how you work it into the theme of whichever biome you make it in
It looks fantastic, beautiful design with farms and bridges. The storage for carrots and potatoes is also very nice. Perfect job, I'm looking forward to the next part.
As soon as I saw the cat I said "He looks like his name should be Nile (Like the Nile river) since he spawned right by the river." And honestly I'm not mad about that thought. 😅
Cat name: Snuffles, Destroyer of Worlds. And, as always, I am so impressed with your building and terraforming skills. The "lush" desert biomes are wonderful!
It's actually really cool you added the sail to the boat. In ancient Egypt they travelled north on the river thanks to the current and south thanks to the wind.
I'm really liking the way this project is going so far ! For the cat's name, I think it would be cool to name it Vivi after the princess of the Alabasta desert kingdom from One Piece. As for new plants to add in the biome, I think giant cacti could add a bit more height and fantasy to the build
A fun idea that I thought of for the villager relocation. Could be a desert river village, in a large river section. The village could be built over the river. Like a river town
Hope you enjoy today's episode on the hardcore Minecraft world!! what do you think of the new expansion into the desert?
Awesome! and I haven't even whatched the episode yet😎
It looks amazing! Always enjoy watching you build
Cat name suggestion: Chione meaning mythical daughter of Nile
I love it
I love your builds but not a fan of the orange and pink
Some expectation:
A large library
Some kind of desert related statues
An industry of something
A new villager job
So exited for the upcoming episodes 🤍
i think it’s awesome how you’re moving into the dessert, it really connects the whole world
I know right, such a treat!
@@refrshI really hope that joke was on purpose.
My favorite dessert is probably Cinnamon Rolls or maybe Doughnuts.
Do you think after the Dessert he'll go to the Desert?
More trees you could potentially build could be Baobab trees, or Desert willows? You could even use spore blossoms for the flowers on Desert willows!
Desert willows are such a good idea I'd love 2 see fWhip's take on it. I second this :3
@@libby5386what about joshua trees or umbrella trees
He also needs at least one banyan. Those trees are amazing. But, maybe reserve that one for a noble's garden or something.
Cool
yooooo heck yeah heck yeah
Nostalgia to see this wonder recreated
Bro same
So many memories
Yeah I completely agree!
Loving the river edges and how they lead into the farmland. It looks wonderful.
fWhip, I just have to say, I have never seen someone absolutely nail a desert build like this. I agree, Bastet is a great name.
Definitely second this. That is an amazing name for her
Sphinx should work also, but Bastet is cool
Bastet for the guardian cat is amazing and I would choose Heka for the magical kitty! (As in the god of magic) :)
The fact that Bastet is a guardian deity and the cat is the guardian of the bridge only makes it more fitting.

In general a tiny bit more vegetation would make it look so much more cool. Deserts arent all just sand with patches of cacti!!
Dead coral would probably work as aestivating desert plants.
There's a very thin kind of tree called a "beech tree" which would suit your area. They are just tall trunks without any big branches... so just straight up with sparse leaves.
maybe you mean a special beech species? normally beech trees get huge (and you also won't see them anywhere close to the desert)
The cat that sits on the bridge could be called Olivia because it’s the female counterpart to Oliver, that, as far as I remember, is the name of the cat on your porch in your starter home. 😅 Long sentence for a non English speaker😁

I said Cleocatra lol
waterlogged stairs for irrigation canals is genius. The entire desert farmland came out so good!
You should name the magical kitty @19:05 Jeanie! :D Get it guys??? Like genie, but Jeanie! ...guys?!?
I have been waiting for this video all week and can’t wait to watch good work fwhip! :)
I'm so happy I decided to become a member! Thank you Fwhip for everything you have done!
You're the best! Thanks so much!!
LOVING this fWhip!! It’s great seeing you re-work old builds and find ways to add colour to the desert, I am inspired!
Amazing! Would deffo recommend making a portal room though so it's easier to move around (maybe in the middle of a market or a bazaar?)
I absolutely love the idea of you bringing back papyrus and giving it a bit of an update with the new blocks, its turning out amazing!
For a build recommendation, keep the hill (the one all the villagers are on) in the build, its adds some height variation and could be later used for a manor or fort/barracks. :)
This hardcore series is the only minecraft related content I watch these days as I don't play anymore, but I really enjoy the build style here.
So excited to see the desert village begin development! It would be awesome to actually implement villagers into this village since it won’t be as laggy as the spawn village

i‘ve been watching this series for nearly 2 years now and i‘m still amazed by every new video you upload. Thx fWhip 🙏🏼
If we had such fWhip in the real world deserts wouldn't be a problem anymore lol
Name idea for the bridge cat: Bast/Bastet. Named after the Egyptian cat deity.
At 13:30, you should have that little peninsula turn into a mini island! That would be perfect
perfect timing for a new fwhip video!! i always play your videos in the background, just to have some company while i work on my bachelors project, it makes me be so much more productive haha, thank you for all the comforting content!💜
14:14 'And it turned out to be more blocks than expected' fWhip's recurring theme when it comes to terraforming
I love the desert vibe. Its such a different feeling compared to most of the current hardcore worlds.
I love seeing his building improve and change
obsessed with the block palette for that second bridge omg!!
for tree suggestions i would recommend looking into australian desert trees like boabs, waddis, or maybe even wattle trees?
wattle trees at their most recognisable state is when they're flowering and the flowers are extremely yellow i wouldn't even know how to go about recreating that in minecraft lol
I love the build! As for other trees, you could try mimosa trees and cypresses.
you could add fig trees or acacia trees. or even jacaranda trees if you can figure out how to get those pretty purple flowers (although pink azaleas might be close enough).
I think it would be fantastic to build a village for every biome you entered that would tie your whole hardcore world together
Instead of having that patch of grass in the mess, I think you should build a little mystic-grassy cave in the mesa cliffs to get you’re tall grass
I love the way you design your bridges! I think a cute name for one of the cats could be Minnie!
These builds are so crazy.
On god!
Crazy? I was crazy once. They locked me in a room. A rubber room. A rubber room with rats. The rats made me go crazy.
That sucks.
The desert road looks amazing!
wow the desert project looks incredible.
maybe a big pyramid with a temple and obelisks would be nice

every time I think you've done the most creative thing in an area you manage to do something even better. im absolutely amazed, this is already looking so good!!
Hey Fwhip! You’re awesome!
Great video! Your desert project has inspired me to build my own desert region too!
That's awesome! have fun with it!!
@@fWhip Will do!
I think it will be fun and interesting to make an ancient tunnel filled with treasure and traps underneath the new desert village. But however a wonderful new episode! Keep it up❤❤❤
I just caught up on your hardcore videos today and I was so excited to see a new one! ❤
You could name the cat Bastet, after the Egyptian cat goddess of protection and good heath 🐈⬛. Great video!
You’re one of the most creative builders I’ve ever watched, and I really enjoy all of your videos! I look forward to watching the rest of this transformation.
i love the idea of redwood trees! like use mangrove planks and maybe spruce leaves :))
14:26 this cat needs to be named sphinx 😂
The guardian kitty and the magic kitty should be called Bastet and Heka. (Bastet is the egyptian cat goddess of protection and Heka is the egyptian god of magic.)
i remember the old Dessert City build in previous series. They looked so good. You'll definitely top that one with the build you're making here!
For trees, you could try out some custom acacia trees, also joshua trees. There are many different kinds of palms that grow in arid climates, so you can vary the thickness and height of some of the palms to appear like different species.
Love the bridges. For the cats, Bastet ans Sekhmet. And for the tree, mesquite trees are gorgeous in Arizona.
This is phenomenal!! Your use of texturing is always mind blowing! Also you should totally name your bridge cat Heimdall!!
You could build a giant palm tree of life, to conect your original region, the end and the new desert region.
Wake up babe, fwhip just updated his hardcore series
You should name one of the bridge cats Bast, the Egyptian goddess of cats and one of the protector deities of Ancient Egyptian myths.
Name the cat Tet to fit with the desert theme named after an Egyptian Deity
2 major/mega desert projects: 1. A pyramid temple, like in Egypt; 2. Do some kind of statue, like the Sphinx
Okay. Soon as you said the Nile vibe. I thought you should build a giant pyramid somehow
I'd love to see you build an aquarium!
Love your videos, fWhip! Thank you for all the time and work you put into them.
Anyone else agree mojang should make it so we can strip mushroom blocks the same as logs (by right clicking with the axe) it would make using that great inner mushroom block so much easier to build with.
Don’t you just love when Fwhip destroys a village to then rebuild it later? 6:24
If I got a nickel every time I destroyed a village and rebuilt it.. I'd have a lot of nickels.
indeed sir@@fWhip
would definitely love to see an aquarium! working on conceptualizing one myself, and it would be interesting to see how you work it into the theme of whichever biome you make it in
9:08 Can we take a moment to appreciate this transition?
I like how he is bringing in a old build but with his new style
Name idea for the cat bridge guardian: Simon the Siamese
You never see unique landscapes like these in Minecraft, love it!
The cat on the bridge should be named Parchment or Scroll, especially since it matches the sandy/beige color of Papyrus
so excited for the future of new papyrus!
It looks fantastic, beautiful design with farms and bridges. The storage for carrots and potatoes is also very nice. Perfect job, I'm looking forward to the next part.
the bridge cat shall be named sphinx and from now on ask three questions to everyone who wants to cross the bridge!
Cat name suggestion: Neith, an Egyptian hunter goddess
Bless you, FWhip, totally stealing the hidden mushroom texture idea for some variance in my white terracotta walls on my hardcore world.
Fwhip, thank you for this amazing content! Keep up the good work.
Mojang should add the hidden texture of mushroom blocks as a feature by stripping them like a log
name the cat Heimdall, gardian of the bridge
It's actually really cool you added the sail to the boat. In ancient Egypt they travelled north on the river thanks to the current and south thanks to the wind.
13:56 I really liked this sketch part and i would love if you added it to more of your videos
I'm really liking the way this project is going so far ! For the cat's name, I think it would be cool to name it Vivi after the princess of the Alabasta desert kingdom from One Piece. As for new plants to add in the biome, I think giant cacti could add a bit more height and fantasy to the build
I just got way too excited seeing we finally have a place for BLUE AXOLOTLS!!!
A fun idea that I thought of for the villager relocation. Could be a desert river village, in a large river section. The village could be built over the river. Like a river town
Such a refreshing and inspiring area. It’s really cool to see you build in a different style. Keep going!👍
Really liking the "detour" into the desert!
You should definitely do some custom mangrove trees and a few little swampy areas.
Love all the old Building with Fwhip callbacks!
