Practicing DirtBike Whips Again!

- Today was hot and I was struggling.
Focused on a few things like looking ahead of ruts, squeezing with legs to conserve energy and riding more efficiently/safe, but it seems as the day went on my desire to practice whips came back and I couldn't help but get back into it after not practicing for soo long!

That one whip you did and said "oh shit." and "I didn't even mean to do that." Were really good because you weren't tense at all, and you let the bike flow beneath you.

something that can help you be smoother on jumps is if you pull in the clutch in the air and then get on the gas and let the clutch out, it kinda makes you land smoother, and if your bike is bogging down when you land from a jump, you can do a similar thing except let the clutch out right when you land and it can get the rpm’s up so that you aren’t bogging. and overall it’s pretty fun lol.
That sounds like a lot of work but it also sounds like it works really well. I usually just hold the gas wide open but this might help even more for that. Thank you for that tip!

Lookin good I would recommend working on ur corner speed first the whips and scrubs will eventually come
You're not wrong, but everything I do in life involves skipping the basics. It's just my style haha
my favorite
To practice leaning find an opened up field and turn at higher speeds consistently, the place two cones 10 ft apart and practice slow turning inside those to cones.
Quick tips when you are trying to whip just let it come naturally but if you are going to whip do it more on the the lip and also when you overjumped that double you tensed up and took all of the landing with your body instead of you suspension so when you land like that land on the gas and let you suspension take the hit otherwise you look good.

quick tip you need to start carrying you momentum throughout the whole track you can do this by only focusing on corners

BE MORE LOOSE!!!!!! 10:44 squeeze bike with knees, you had all the weight on your handle bars! when those fast dude get infront of you try to pace them and keep up trust me riding with faster people makes YOU FASTER!!!!!!!!! when you over jump or case land on the gas hard cause the suspension soaks it ALL up like butter!!!!!!!!!!

Keep at least one finger on the levers at all times and use the clutch more brotha! It’s a 2-stroke and bogging it down in the corners and ur getting not as much power as you would if you were moderating the clutch

So at 10:50 when u got real bad head shake i was there and the line u hit was really choppy and it could also be related too the tightness of your steering stem nut but you could also be putting too much pressure on the front end
Interesting! It went away after i relaxed more and leaned forward more so i mightve not had enough weight/control up front
