This guy is the type of people Joe should be helping more often. They want to help themselves, and they made a commitment already, and have demonstrated some type of progress.
Great idea! Helping people who already seem halfway there in recovery may be most effective, especially since Joe doesn't have any professional training

Seems to be the case man. I know a lot of good dudes including myself who just ended up hooked on some bullshit. I quit drinking and everything a while ago but opiates and pills that I’ve been prescribed are the hardest to quit. They still have me by the balls but I’m actively trying to get off of them.
Jrez09 naw man, all it does is make me a weirdo these days. I’ll break the cycle man. It just takes time and the right state of mind. I appreciate the concern.
Andrew Goodballet you definitely will overcome it, I used to mess with oxy’s and percs and I went and did this Native American church ceremony to cleanse my system and believe it or not it made me throw up hella stuff and I never touched a pill since then
Jrez09 bro I saw a shaman years ago and he said there were 6 evils inside of me and he was only able to remove 5 of them. It’s strange because there’s only one more thing I need to quit before I reach complete sobriety. The rest of the shit was easy to quit. I never thought in a million years I’d quit drinking and smoking cigarettes so easily and without help but here I am. I haven’t had a cigarette since the day I decided to stop August 2nd 2020. And when I quit drinking about 3.5 years ago it was just cold turkey, made up my mind to stop and haven’t had a drop since. Percocet has been the absolute hardest thing I’ve ever tried to stop taking. I might try Kratom and some THC or some kind of healthier alternative. Eventually I’ll clean up. Thanks again man.
Wow all I can say is this guy just showed you a makeshift studio, sound proof with the egg trays, the briefcase for the 4 to the floor sound, very creative.
I know a guy like him. He can pick up an instrument and within maybe 10-15 minutes, he’s got it figured out. He can also play by ear. If he hears a song, he can play it immediately on guitar, drums, or piano. It’s incredible. People with that natural musical ability are fucking geniuses.
You can see the enjoyment he gets from playing on his face, and using egg boxes for old school soundproofing it's not all about having the best equipment.
Heroin was the worst thing to ever happened to me especially being a talented, passionate person that came from a good family. My clean date is 7/3/19.
How do you even start heroin? I like weed and my beer but cant fathom taking a needle and injecting toxic sludge into my veins and then the high is turning into a zombie
JSeaton good stay that way, keep that viewpoint, and NEVER let a dr or any1 else try recommend opiate pain medication to you. Do not be deceived by the name Tylenol either because some Tylenol contains codeine.... which is the gateway!
Btw zombie is not the word because the feeling is sublime, heavenly, euphoric, and mind altering . There is no other drug like it. Btw only a certain subset of the worlds population (not sure on numbers but anywhere between 20-80%) attain, or are afflicted? With the euphoric sublime feeling.
For every Rabbit or Danny there is one of these guys.. there’s been a lot of one off interviews with guys who are heading towards success but we forget about them since they don’t join the everyday cast of APS characters. So we don’t see these guys repeatedly because they’d be taking time away from the plan laid out in front of them in order to utilize or use Joe and APS.. does that make any sense or sound like a bunch of skullduggery?lol

EDIT: Song at the beggining and the end was GREAT!!!
This guys story reminds me of myself....Man U better stay clean...
I was a Dj with all the best contacts in my country..from world known top Djs as friends to club promoters and owners of 4 of biggest clubs in my country.I was hanging with them all the time..
had DJ/Music production equpment for wich I worked 1 year as a teenager, was getting me and my friends gigs in clubs, was very well known on the scene, everybody knew me even if I didnt know them (As they had seen me in media and heard crazy storyies about me)...
Started using heroin at my job with my boss and in 2 years time, I sold all my equipment , stoped to hang out with people that matter(as I was ashamed of myself for becoming a junkie)...
Now allmost 25 years latter Still a junkie, thnx god I newer needed to steal or rob as I still work as a painter, but my dreams that was allready in my reach faded away....now Im allways deppresed and I think thats the only re4ason why I still Use, have no dreams and live from 1 day to the next.
health is in decline and I hope I will live for another 7years and get to my 45...
