Very nice! I'm a Northeastern railroad fan, with my family being from Atlantic City and living in Toledo. Your store is just excellent. We don't have too many stores like yours, around here, at least not close. I hear a lot of the O Gauge RUclipsr's mention your store and I've always wondered about it. That Lake Erie car is quite nice. It would be cool if they could do a Walleye Run version, as that is a big thing here in the early Spring. The Southern Crescent passenger train is pretty cool. I have an MTH Rail King Southern Ps-4 Pacific, which I use to pull my AMT Southern Crescent passenger cars. Sometimes, I use a Lionel 2356 Southern F3, depending upon what I'm running on the layout at the time. It is a beautiful set and hard to find. It has the proper named cars, but I need the dome, baggage and combo car to complete the set. Either way, you have a great shop, there. An excellent video.

Hi Lisa! I was born into a railroad family, fourth generation B&O RR worker. I was in a serious train derailment in 2004, and it ended my career as an engineer. I still work on model trains, we have a large HO scale layout in our basement. I also took up painting portraits, mainly trains, but almost everything else as well. It supplements my disability pay and I’ve built quite a following. I haven’t been to Spencer in many years, but it’s good to see your videos! I find O scale railroading fascinating, and I have a lot of friends who model in O scale. Frank Sinatra might be the most famous O scale model railroader, and Rod Stewart might be the most famous HO scale model railroader. If I’m ever down that way, I’ll be sure to drop in and say hi to your dad! If you’re interested, you can see my art at The Stan Carlson Gallery on Facebook. This isn’t an attempt to drum up business, I just like to show off my work! :) It makes me happy to see more women and young ladies taking up the model railroading hobby, I have four sisters who didn’t care a bit for it, but my granddaughter loves trains! Keep up the good work! :)

I love all of this that you shared. Thank you! My dad actually told me about Frank Sinatra's love for model trains, but don't think I'd heard about Rod Stewart.

And that's crazy about the derailment you experienced! How incredibly scary that must have been! I was just talking to someone the other day about how health related closure or other endings, can bring new beginnings and open up space to grow new skills and explore new or old passions. Love that you are a painter now!
