Just completed my response. I wish you all the best for the battle ahead and I know how hard it can be. I'm from Australia and live in the state of Victoria. I'm a keen duck and quail hunter. The birds here are in huge numbers and the government keeps reducing season length and bag limits. It is blatantly obvious that they want to put it on the chopping block. We are currently having a government enquiry into the future of our sport. Not looking good for us.
Thank you for your help and we also wish you luck in your fight. It seems that the other side really don't care about all of the conservation benefits of shooting sports but care deeply that we are not allowed to do it.
Consultation completed a little while ago, people need to complete this , sitting around and having the attitude of, I will let everyone else do it as I don't have time etc, is not going to help, and look at it this way, if everything is taken away from us, people will have plenty of time to think about why they should have completed such consultations. Everybody needs to complete this in a factual manner, and stand up for our sport, jobs and way of life, which seems to be constantly under attack these days. Our voice needs to be heard NOW before everything is taken away from us bit by bit.
I found the question about the use of the welsh speaking very interesting indeed. Here's what I put for my Welsh speaking friends. ''The proposals would have a significant impact on Welsh speaking communities, especially more isolated individuals. This would be detrimental to them and some might argue an infringement on their civil liberties as they currently stand' I went on to say 'Social opportunities for welsh speakers to convene should be encouraged and not diminished' Hope this helps.
Only 600 views in 2 days. A bit of a concern. This is a watershed moment in game shooting and people are merrily sleepwalking into oblivion. Whatever happens in Wales will become a blueprint for England, and with it being likely that next election will see a Labour government or Labour-dominated coalition the future for game shooting if this isn’t stopped is bleak indeed.
We agree with you, those that don't fill this out are as compliant as those who want to bring this in. Well done for filling it out, your voice will be counted. Please encourage everyone you know to respond

Great response
consultation filled in. Very leading and loaded questions. Seems like a done deal to me, but fill it in and get the word out.
I believe the same but gave my response and passed it along to friends
Thank you, spread the word
Well done, it's so important we all engage
Filled in and sent 👍🏻

@@nationalgamekeepersorganis9866thanks a have done my best!
Sounds like the consultation is about ‘taxes’ potential future revenue for gov’t. This consult is not about the environment
