The return of Sonic and it's... The worst port of all time? The worst Sonic game ever? Either way it's Sonic 1 on GBA from both BSC and SGB's perspective. Maybe now I'll never have to touch this game again...

Also, he died for no reason in Final Zone, and his lives drop to 2. When the speedup starts, his lives are back at 3, meaning that Johnny died at least 2 more times to the boss.
*Allegedly* the porting team was disallowed from using the initial Genesis coding by the executives. Rather than recreate and enhance it, they took the lazy route and just slapped the Sonic Advance engine on it (you know, the engine *not* designed with this many elements on the screen in mind). Point stands: Sonic Team was lazy and its executives were complete dicks for doing this.
*How bad* could it have possibly been to use and then tweak the original game's source code, executives!?
So this is basically proof that the GBA could run Sonic 1 in it’s original version but Sega was negligent.

Gladly:
1. No party members
2. No story
3. Bowser doesn't talk
4. You can't attack with your normal Jump/Hammer without wasting a sticker
5. No RPG elements, such as stats, EXP, leveling up, party members, etc
6. No sense of direction, at all. Game is filled with puzzles and there's not a single person in the entire game that can help you if you get stuck.
7. No actual characters to talk to, save for a few Toads in very limited areas
8. Horrible Sticker battle system where anything you use pretty much gets wasted, and your only reward for winning battles is coins, making the battles worthless.
9. Coins are worthless because you can only use them to buy stickers, which can also be found in the worlds themselves.
10. Luck-based boss battles. You just found a giant scissors sticker. If you even DARE to try it out to see how it works, you just screwed yourself up because that sticker was the area boss' weakness. Prepare yourself, because you're going to waste all of your stickers on punny 1 damage attacks. Good luck even surviving.
11. Oh, you kept the scissors sticker? Hooray, now the boss fight will be about 2 or 3 turns, since you'll be overpowered and you'll just destroy both the boss and any potential fun the fight could have had. This happens with EVERY BOSS IN THE GAME, including the final boss.
12. The game somehow managed to make the puzzles both super simple and super complicated
13. Since you only have Mario, every puzzle must be resolved by either jumping, using your hammer or just sticking a sticker to it.
14. The game sometimes won't even tell you where you can find the necessary Thing...thing you need to turn it into a sticker and therefore solve the puzzle
15. The needless amount of backtracking to the main town because of the Things you must turn into stickers. The only way to turn, say a giant goat, into a sticker is by finding the goat, then backtracking all the way back to the main town.
16. The game has no soul. It's mostly silence through the entire adventure, save for a few enemies here and there, and a few bits of humor from time to time.
17. 6 worlds, all being generic Mario tropes with no identity or locals that make them stand out, save for the Enigmansion.
18. If you for one reason or another ran out of attack stickers during a boss fight, you'll have to keep taking damage until the game decides to throw you a random sticker that might help you. You then use said random sticker and repeat the whole damn process again.
19. You fight Bowser Jr. 3 fucking times
20. You fight Kamek 3 fucking times
21. In each Kamek fight, he turns all of your stickers into flipflop stickers. I HOPE YOU REMEMBER WHICH ONES WERE IMPORTANT AND WHICH WEREN'T, because they *ALL LOOK THE FUCKING SAME* (and they all do the same ammount of damage)
22. There's parts in the game where you lose Kersti, your stupid flying crown companion. When you lose her, you can't use the battle spinner, which allows you to have more than one turn.
23. Battle spinner is completely luck-based. Needed a few more turns to get everything down? TOO BAD!
24. You're either extremely overpowered with your stickers or extremely underpowered, there's no middle ground.
25. There's undefeatable enemies, like Bowser's chain chomp. You don't have a tail sticker/don't know how to get the timming down of the tail sticker? Well I do hope you're ok with taking 10 points of damage each turn until you push Bowser away, and that's IF you perfectly block both Bowser's and the chomp's attack.
26. You can't choose which enemy to attack, you must always, ALWAYS attack the one at the front first, meaning that your strategies are limited quite badly. There's a spiky enemy inbetween 2 non-spiked enemies? Well now you can't use the multi bounce sticker to get rid of the other two with just one turn. You must defeat the first non-spiked enemy first, then get rid of the spiky one, and then defeat the final one, removing the whole entire multi-bounce strategy to begin with.
I can go on and on if you want me to, but here's 26 things wrong with it.

The worst thing I experienced(besides backseat gaming FNaF 2 with my brother on an online site) was getting jumpscared by the "I AM GOD" pic at the end of Ordinary Sonic. I randomly bet my brother that I could speedrun it since I know Sonic 1 so well(aside from Marble Act 2), and I got a game over on Green Hill Act 2. I was preparing to try again when I was surprised by the picture and I got so badly scared I shut down the tab the site was on. I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED IT SINCE

Then I read the thread.. The one thing I _refuse_ to deal with is the fact that you need a Jump sticker for each jump attack, or a Hammer sticker for each hammer attack. If that's how the game works, then I'm out.

Sticker Star was ok, just not great. Certainly better than Super Paper Mario in my opinion. Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts is a better example of complete rape of something golden.
