I think it had something to do with the mic, I think his fry screams aren't very loud but he moved the mic further from his mouth during the screams and they got even quieter, I know you're supposed to do that when there's a volume spike in your vocals
He had lost his voice the day of the concert he said a doctor had to give him an injection in his neck that morning so that he could sing but he couldn't scream as well as normal. Still did an amazing job for the whole concert though!
Taking my 10 yr old daughter to see these guys next month. They aren’t really my thing ( I’m more of a Converge & Cave In kind of guy), but they are her favorite band, and I’m so fucking excited to take her to her first show.

Well he won’t scream a lot live in general because it can actually really fuck up your vocals in the long run so he wouldn’t be able to sing as strong
