    Wonderful Sara! I love Raymar panels but I think they’re a little pricey. I buy a lot of Centurion panels from Jerry’s. They’re linen on a panel. I love painting from life, still life and plein air.

    Loving this. I'm still a beginner to oils, so this is fantastic and really helpful. Can't wait to see your next steps and how it turns out.

    Dear Sarah, loving learning from you, thank you. May I offer something in return? The Alizarin Crimson which is PR83, that you're using from M. Graham suffers from being not fully lightfast. M. Graham rate it only "good" BUT there is a much better colour right beside it in the M. Graham range called Quinacridone Rose. This is the far better classic PV19 which is "excellent" in terms of lightfastness and will give you brighter violets when mixed with Ultramarine PB29...just a thought....my very best wishes and admiration for your painting.

    What is your palette If I may?

    • @SarahSedwick
      @SarahSedwick  7 месяцев назад +1

      My typical palette is: titanium white, cadmium yellow medium, hansa yellow, yellow ochre, cad red light, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue, and ivory black. Sometimes I add in viridian or pthalo blue, warm white by gamblin, and radiant violet by gamblin. All other colors are M. Graham oils. I paint mainly on Raymar 23SC canvas panels. Hope this helps!

    OMG. You talk so fast and non-stop; my head is spinning. Not everyone can afford high-end supplies. You're making people feel inferior.
