In regards to the section stating why you want to teach at Cambly, aside from the common reasons like helping others, enjoying meeting others and making a positive impact, once reason could be because someone is disabled. It's another reason that person would take it very seriously because teaching is also a necessity for someone with limited option. I know it sounds bad but would it be wrong or distasteful to mention being disabled in a wheelchair? I think it might hinder the application but I might be wrong. Thoughts?
I would say that you speak with the student and find out where they are at as far ad conversation, understanding , reading. writing. Find out that their goals are...I hear that many Cambly students what to practice English conversation. Also Cambly has a resource area with information on the website.

Hi Caitriona, thank you for this video. I am a retired English teacher, after five years of teaching I quit and started working with USAF members who were stationed in İzmir as a support unit for NATO. Worked with them as an Interpreter/Translator for 25 years. I can speak English like a native US citizen now. Would this be good enough or should I be a native speaker who lives in one of those 6-7 countries ,where official language is English, to be accepted as Cambly Tutor teacher? Thank you.
Hi Caitriona, strange question but do Cambly actually see you when they do the speed test as I had to dash when doing the speed test so asked hubby to sit in for me and when I walked back into the room he was busy preening himself in front of the screen and I noticed that the camera was on - if this is the case then how embarrassing for me and should I rather do a new application?

Hi there - I have registered last night but didn't complete or upload anything. Tonight when I wanted to log in - it keeps on logging me into the Cambly kids parent wanting me to open a parent profile - I seemingly cant get back to the original tutor profile to finish it - any advice?

I did receive the email - i have clicked on the email last night already and started completing my profile with the intention to finish it today. When logging in today, it took me directly to the Cambly kids and wants me to register a child as a parent - I have logged out there and tried logging by the tutor side, but then it simply directs me back to the Cambly kids - I was hoping it takes me to my profile so that I can complete my questions and upload my video. I have another question - I see many people are having youtube channels and are doing videos similar to yours... is this a requirement or are you getting extra money for the referral?

Log out of your Cambly acc and log in again, mine was also like that. Hope that helps.

Cambly's materials are generally poor with many errors.
How long does it take for them to review your profile/applicatiom? I just put mine in today!
