Marc fronted his own multiple award winning Christian band (called "downhere") for over 10 years. Then he auditioned for Roger Taylor and won the lead with "Queen Extravaganza," Queen's "official" tribute band, in late 2011. He sang with them until the end of 2016. When they were not going to tour in 2017, he started his own cover band, "Ultimate Queen Celebration." He's performed with them since, along with "Black Jacket Symphony" (they do EXACT recreations of famous albums, in live concerts), "Symphonic Queen" (in Mexico, with a full symphony orchestra), and as part of "One Vision Of Queen" (basically a re-named UQC), touring eastern Europe. He has several albums of his own music out as well. Marc also did vocals for the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie. The 30+ year old analog magnetic tape master recordings would not have been up to modern "Dolby Atmos" digital quality standards, so they used a technique called "vocal layering," where they blended Marc's voice with Freddie's. You can see the tracks in this photo from the Live Aid scene mixing board, where Freddie's track is "LV-STEM LVAID DRY FREDDIE_01" and Marc's track is "LV-STEM LVAID_01," directly beneath it. i.imgur.com/Oqxw81z.jpg In December 2019, Marc was the special guest star for the Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant Christmas tour. He brought the house down every night. The three of them released their cover of "Silver Bells" which went to number one on the Christian Music chart. This past Christmas, Marc teamed with Amy Grant to release their cover of "The Christmas Waltz," a Frank Sinatra song. He performs solo, with his band Ultimate Queen Celebration, with the Black Jacket Symphony in the US, One Vision of Queen in Germany, with the Mexico Symphonica in Mexico, has appeared on a French Canadian show for Celine Dion (at her request), performed on Ellen, and was hired by Roger Taylor of Queen to front their official tribute band Queen Extravaganza, with whom he toured with from 2012 to 2017. And MORE! From 1999-2012 he toured with his multiple award-winning Canadian rock band Downhere. He won Best Vocalist in their Christian Rock genre in 2012. In 2013 and 2014, he released some solo music - Prelude and Impersonator, and they’re absolutely fantastic. Us fans are impatiently waiting for his next original album! This year he released a rock opera album with an Italian tenor. Every year he comes out with Christmas music, which I always love and appreciate. I’m a HUGE FAN, can you tell? ;)
Marc actually did some of the fill in voice work for the movie "Bohemian Rhapsody" (2018) wherever they couldn't use Freddie's recordings or Rami Malek, the actor's voice. He's been in some high profile Queen tribute bands and has performed with Roger and Brian onstage before (American Idol), etc.
Just so everyone knows, Rami Malek didn't sing a NOTE in the movie. He sang into a dead microphone so the audience would see his throat muscles moving. He can't sing at ALL and would never be able to sound ANYTHING like Freddie.
He is part of a queen cover band. He has a ton of great Freddie covers. I'm pretty sure he was the voice behind the singing in the Bohemian Rhapsody film from a few years ago as well
@@erikagolcher1353 oh look, a lying troll here. You celebrate AL appearing as a cameo for 2 seconds in the movie, but dismiss the massive talent it takes to sing for ten minutes for Freddie in the film? The producer has stated they probably couldn't have made the film without Marc.

Not really. Freddie did not sing the intro and the operatic section solo, he recorded harmonized versions of both, which Marc has done for his live performances also, just not for this cover. Also, the piano partiture is different to the original.

I guess being an award winning musician from his own original work before ever having anything to do with Queen has no relevance to some people who say he's nothing but a copycat. I don't know why some Queen fans give Marc a hard time for doing what he was hand picked to do.
@@joegoodman8213 Well said. Most of the trolls are obsessive fans of another Queen cover artist , or rarely, Freddie [and even then, it often turns out that a troll claiming to be defending Freddie is actually an obsessive fan of another cover artist hiding behind Freddie to bash Marc] who hate that Marc is as good as he is, respected by his peers and as loved by fans. Marc got to play a pivotal role in the film, acknowledged even by the producer.
