So exciting! The 14/16 mark is the best size change, because its the time you start fitting more consistently into 'normal' shops. I'm a 12/14 on top, 14 in trousers, but if I'm buying jeans I have to have a 16. Awww on clothes swapping! Something many of us never got to do growing up. I do a lot of shopping in supermarkets (and matalan, and primark, cheapo that I am!) and I have noticed that there are more bigger sizes than smaller. I need a winter coat but we keep having unexpected warm snaps so I'm putting it off. Asda have waterproof jackets at a decent price maybe get one to tide you over. I have the same issue as I'm not working (starting as a mature student soon). I get job lots off of ebay.
It is so exciting hehehee I can't believe it! I can't wait to start buying "normal" all the time and not buying plus sized! I couldn't believe this time last year that I'd be this size now! 😍 just amazing! Aww I'm exactly the same, it's been costing a fortune buying so cheaply like I have been- never mind at none cheap places! Thanks for the asda tip! Need to try supermarkets! Oh and I managed to get to TKmaxx today and I got a vanilla hazelnut sugar free syrup! Not tried it yet but we'll looking forward to it! They only had that one and a vanilla in the one near me so may have to have a look in other stores for different ones 😄 Thanks for the tip! 😘
I use the vanilla one in my chia seed pudding for a touch of sweetness and it works really well. Supermarkets are great but they do still add up, I look for a sales and things but sometimes I just go for it. Ebay was a lifesaver. I look up 'size 16 bundle' (or whatever size you need) and you can get a big box of clothes very cheap. You may have one or two pieces in it you won't wear that you can bin or donate, but mostly it works well and it means you're only averaging (if you're picking boxes like me)£1-2 an item. I think over the next month the warm snaps will end and then I'll get a full on coat. I have the waterproof jacket (£20 from asda) to cover me until then, but I'm hoping by that time I can fit comfortable into the next size down so that the coat will last me longer. If I can I don't think the 40lbs I have until I get to goal will affect my size so much that it will be a purchase I grow out of quickly, so I don't mind it I spend 40-ish quid on a decent one. They are so expensive a lot of the time, but I'm not spending 60+ on a winter coat I'll wear this season (autumn/winter/early spring) and may not have a chance to wear next year if I move again to a hot climate. Amazing tip on the eBay bulk buying I haven't done the bulk buying on there so I'll have a look into that! I am going to try your recipe for the chia pudding soon I think it looks great! 😊
Okay, have emailed so don't worry about it, but if you ever want to here is how: One the main youtube page top right corner there is the upload button, the notification bell and your face. Click on your face and press the 'creator studio' button. On the page, go down the sidebar to 'community', click it and then go to messages. This is also where any unapproved comments go for you to moderate so you may have some stuck in your spam filter you weren't aware of.
