when I click on die base design appears a message that says failed to open register file. Someone has the same problem as me? How can I solve it. What happens if I want to build my own die sets?
I have same problem than Meltri. I have been unable to solve it despite dedicating several hours to find the solution ( and I have microfort office installed)
Excellent question. We split become 2 or 3 plate is based on how much tonnage needed for stamping, how rigid the upper dies too. By splitting become more than 2, then the upper dies become more rigid. Less length then less bending due to stamping force is divided per upper dies section. For how long 1 plate is ok its hard to say a certain length value. It is very depend on the product also. If too many features created and too many insert, then you can create longer upper dies to compensate any space required for insert. But please add stiffener such as web ribbing on upper dies. Hope that answer your question.

Do you have microsoft office installed ? All database in NX are registered and open using excel.
