You did great. This was a great review of the car. Your accent in awesome. Just a pointer though. When the car is "recuperating" it's normally referred to as "regenerative braking" / "regenerating". Not trying to pick. I loved this video and simply want to point this out if you do more videos on hybrids.

Azharul Sham No, you can let it run on petrol only as well. But while running on petrol, you can charge the battery as an option. [Jan]

What fuel consumption did they manage in the real life traffic? The hybrid version of the previous generation was only slightly more efficient then the standard model.
What kind of fuel consumption did you get on the test, and how did it compare to the official figure? Great review by the way, keep up the good work.

I am wondering if the pre conditioning required the engine to start up or if it has some independant cooler/heater. If it starts the engine this is actually illegal in some countries if you activate this on a public road. Can get you a hefty fine or they take your car away. When does the battery require replacing? surely it just doesnt keep going forever, its difficult to find another car that compares with this one, apart from the star ship enterprise from star trek! You mentioned the car seat behind the passenger seat is the most comfortable place to sit in the car, does that mean the seat behind the drivers seat doesnt have much room? Would 6ft+ size people feel comfortable? There is the electric part of the car which can either be practical or a nightmare depending on how many pins the charger has because there are charging stations for certain cars with certain pins. Oh great review by the way, always good, practical and usefull reviews by Ausfahrt.tv. Maybe Jeremy Clarkson comes here first to get his facts and info before going off and making jokes about the car. Well done Sarah for being professional I think I would have made way to many jokes about this one, especially when mercedes has to take it up the backside to recharge :)
anythingyouwant29 To be very honest, I am not sure if the engines has to start up -I dont think so though, coz indeed it's forbidden to start it and let it run for a while, especially in the winter times. You know, when u want to defreeze the windows. Regarding the battery: What I recall from the event is that it requires replacing within 10 years. the seat behind the drivers seat is comfortable as well, and 6ft people would feel comfortable (I am 6ft tall) - it's just that the other backseat can be transformed into a daybed. Ausfahrt.tv Thanks Sarah, interesting on the ten year replacement time, that means the efficiency must surely depreciate from 5th to 10th year. Just like a laptop battery becomes more and more inefficient. Now I know your 6ft I will certainly look forward to more of your reviews as I am 6ft5 tall and find choosing a new car very difficult as most cars assume everyone is short.
