Hi I'm looking to take GMAT but is there a difference between focus edition and normal from the colleges point of view in India and outside India as well

Unfortunately only the GMAT Focus edition is available now for test takers.
If you have any questions or queries I would love to answer them for you.

Hi, I'm just a freshers and this is the first video about GMAT that I'm seeing. I wanna pursue masters in Germany. So I'll have to take two language tests as well with Gmat. You mentioned that we have to send the scores within 48 hours, so do I do my others language courses before GMAT? I'm pretty confused about that. And do you recommend I take youtube lessons for gmat or proper coaching? I have no funds actually and would be seeking a job as well(might not have much time). Please do respond
I also want to do masters in Germany
i would advice you to take the language tests first and then start with GMAT. classes for GMAT are expensive and the minimum fees for two month worth course is Rs.39000. so if there's a financial constraint, unfortunately you'll have to help yourself with the online material that's available. i would warm you beforehand that if you're not from a math academic background, it's for the best to seek foundation classes as quant can be difficult. best of luck with your prep!
@@ariwetsocks alright thank you sm!
Hi Deepti,
I feel since this is your first video on GMAT, you are going through a lot of questions. It's totally natural and ok. Don't worry about it. Many people go through these questions.
Answering all your questions one by one.
1)You mentioned that we have to send the scores within 48 hours, so do I do my other language courses before GMAT?
- I am not sure how long are your language exam scores valid but the GMAT score is valid for 5 years. I would suggest, planning on your institutions first. Study for the GMAT and check your scores in the mock exams. Clear the GMAT exam. Apply to the colleges you want. Once you send the score to the college, it remains with them for 5 years. Apply whenever you want but ideally in the FIRST round of admissions, after clearing your language exams.
2) do you recommend I take RUclips lessons for GMAT or proper coaching?
-RUclips is great for initial motivation, briefing, information and quick concepts, but a proper study plan using proper material is very important. Proper coaching is something you will have to take a call on, but I would suggest if you have good self-discipline and control, self-study is more than enough.
If you need help in Quant basics I would suggest taking short courses to clear out your concepts and basics.
Hope I was able to answer your questions.
All the very best :)
That's great Sunidhi.
All the very best to you :)

Hi sir can you please help me the source from where I should start the preparation for GMAT exam
Hi Neha,
I would say first would be to understand the sections of the GMAT and their Syllabus. After that you can plan on buying the Official Guide by GMAT as it has all authentic GMAT questions.
Keep researching about GMAT and keep Practicing. That is how you will get ahead of the curve.
All the very best.

Does gmat checks %age of class 12th? I hv scored 75.2%age in 12th CBSE board!...
Hi Ananya,
GMAT doesn't check the % you scored in 12th, as GMAT is just an exam required to take admission in Management courses around the world.
However the management course that you apply for, will check your 12th standard %.
Hope I was able to answer your question.

Can I apply for GMAT with low marks in my 12th and graduation...
Hi Vivek,
High marks in 12th and graduation are always are great BONUS. But without them also people have got admission for MBA colleges.
So to answer your question. YES !!! You can apply for GMAT with low marks.
All the very best Buddy :)
Hello Sir,
I want to know Can we apply for IIM's or ISB through GMAT Focus Addition?
And I am looking for the prep. strategy and all. Can you please guide me in that also.
Looking forward to your prompt response.
Hi,
Yes !!! You can apply for IIM's or ISB through GMAT Focus Addition.
Your prep will have to be designed based on you. Go through the test taker's testimony and decide that for yourself.
Many people take 2 months whereas many people take 6 months to clear GMAT with a score of 700+.
The choice is yours on how you want to attack the test.
All the very best.
Hope I was able to answer your question.
Which all colleges in India doesn’t require work experience through gmat?
Thank you sir, Currently have 1.4 years of work experience am i eligible for MBA from abroad?

Hello can a fresher give gmat exam ??
Hi,
Yes !!! Absolutely !!!!
A fresher can definitely answer the GMAT exam.
For more attempts do we need to pay $275 every time or this is one time fee?
Same query
Hi,
The Exam Fee of $275 is applicable on every time you book your slot for the GMAT Exam. THIS IS NOT A ONE TIME FEE.
Every time you wish to answer the exam, this fee will be applicable.
Hope I was able to answer your question.
All the very best :)
I have a doubt
Like on internet every college is showing cutoff on the basis of old GMAT
But a 700 in old version and a 700 in focus edition is different thing isn't it?
In old edition we get 700 at 90 percentile
But in focus edition we get 705 at 98.5 percentile
So cutt offs will be different for both right?
Hi Prateek,
Yes !!! You are absolutely right. The scoring pattern has changed quite a lot. Also the new data on scoring pattern with respect to college scores is not available and present in common knowledge.
Post September, this data can be available.
Hope this helps you out. All the very best !!!
